this Was the absolute worst visit to McDonald's I've ever had in my entire life. When I walked into McDonald's I was expecting a normal experience, but instead, I got the absolute worst treatment by the employees. When I walked into the restaurant, my friend had to graciously use the bathroom so when she went to the bathroom, I found a table for us and I was just carefully leaning on the table, not sitting. Then all of a sudden, a rude employee comes out and starts, screaming her head off at me for " sitting on the table". I know it may be mistaken if I was sitting on a table, but both of my feet were clearly on the ground so therefore it was obvious that I wasn't sitting. I was leaning, when she came out she started screaming about how people eat on these tables and I thought at first she was talking to someone else because there are many people in the restaurant at the time. But when I continue to lean on the table, she kept screaming, so I figured that she was yelling at me. I didn't say anything because I was too scared cause she was very scary to me, when I got off the table or when I stopped leaning on the table, she continued screaming, then, as she walked away I could hear her talking to her coworkers about what had happened. As a Cheshire resident, I was very unhappy with the way she was talking about me. She continued to talk to me like I was not a human being. I felt very unvalued here. The employee had a tattoo on her forearm and her dirty blonde hair. That day she had her hair in a bun. by the way it was a very messy bun. There was a lot of hair coming out of the bun, but I didn't think anything of it. So after she was done, screaming her head off at me I went to the and ordered some fries like normal McDonald's customer would do. I went up. I ordered my fries. The person who took my order was very sweet and very kind so I'm not upset about that. What im more upset about is when I saw the rude employee scooping my fries into the bag, but at the time I didn't think anything of it, I just thought that she was making up for being rude to me, or just doing her job, it's one of both. But when I went to grab my fries. there was a dirty blonde piece of hair. The employee's hair looked straight and not curly so it couldn't have been any of the other employees because most of them had curly hair. I'm not trying to assume anything but when I see a dirty blonde piece of hair, and I saw the worker who put it in there, I'm gonna uncontrollably assume that it was the rude worker. When I saw the hair on the fry, I almost gagged. I could've been poisoned today. The fry could've intoxicated me to the point where I could've ended up in a hospital. thank God I didn't but it could've happened. in some stories, that has happened to some people. And I saw her put many other foods into other customers bags. The worker did not have a hairnet on, which is probably why I got a hair in my food. I feel bad for other customers who probably got hair in there food, which is why I'm the only one speaking out about it. because me personally I think it's ridiculous. I didn't confront the workers about it cause I didn't want to be too much of a hassle. But I think it's also disgusting. If you work in a food establishment, you should at least have the courtesy to wear a hairnet so that hair doesn't get inside of other people foods. overall, this experience was really bad for me personally, if I could give a zero star rating I would because the employees which rude to me like there was no reason for an employee to come out and yell at a 12-year-old girl who wasn't doing anything wrong. I feel very hurt by this and I hope that doesn't happen again but if it does, I'm gonna have to report the McDonalds to the cheshire board and have this McDonald's removed from town. thank you have a lovely day. read more

The manager who is usually here around 11:00pm has always been so kind, handled his crew well, and ensured orders were done promptly. I'm guessing it was his night off tonight considering the staff was in the back arguing, spewing profanities over the drive through, not handling food with care, and it goes on. Truly disappointed with how the staff was making the customer experience. On top of that, we placed a mobile order at 11:16 and did not receive our meal until 11:56..... the poor man working the register even told us we need to put in a bad review. I went to McDonald's just now and went in to the restroom before ordering. There were bigs everywhere. It's 8:22am and the bathroom was disgusting and as I said... covered in bugs. That new adult meal is out. Waited in line over a half hour just to pay after going to 3 different McDonald's previous to this one and they were sold out of the new meal. MY FOOD WAS COLD AS SHIT after waiting 45 minutes in line. Asked for extra pickles on one of the meals NOT ONE PICKLE. Do you know what it's like dealing with an angry girl. Normally i would wouldn't complain but considering I went the extent. My gf wanted a grimace I went to 3 different McDonald's besides my this one. They were all sold out. This place told me they had them. Now I've worked customer service for years if my situation came up I would've extended the matter. Manager who refused to give his name is on a power trip and belligerent to customers. He lied to our faces multiple times, was blatantly disrespectful, and seems to have an antisocial problem. We asked around and the only name we got was Lou. Tried to gaslight us into thinking we didn't order something when we did, made us get out of the car with the whole line of cars behind us in the drive through to pay for a big mac that should have been on the order. In fact it was on the screen during the order, and we didn't realize it wasn't actually put in the order until we got the bags of food. Instead of saying sorry or being respectful they got all impudent and uncivil demanding that we had to go inside and pay for a sandwich we should have already gotten. We got fed up and decided we didn't even want the 40 dollars worth of cold and dry af mcdonalds and tried to get it refunded instead and thats when the manager basically said screw you and walked away. He then made one of his new kids to deal with us as he clearly can't deal with his own responsibilities. Never got the refund. If money was no problem, I would have opened every item and chucked it at the guy from the other end of the counter and then left. He knew he was in the wrong as he refused to give his name. I moved away from Cheshire after living there for over 20+ years. My grandkids wanted a "happy meal" and I was in the area so off we go. My past experience with this particular location was that it was usually a cut above other McDonald's. Not today.. in effort to eat a little healthier I ordered a chicken sandwich and nuggets for the kids. The fries were usually a guilty pleasure so I ordered a small. My sandwich was simply terrible. Pressed meat and some was actually dark meat. Way too much mayonnaise and it actually made me sick. The fries were cold and had absolutely no salt. Did a mobile order last night, got home and my burger was wrong and had mold on the bottom of the bun. I drove all the way back to McDonald's and spoke to Brianna the "manager" and she told me to get a refund through the app, which is NOT possible. As I stood at the counter Brianna then left the register for over ten minutes while the line built up behind me... she obviously was ignoring me and didn't want to issue me a refund. This is unacceptable behavior from staff and this woman needs to be reprimanded. I want a full refund and I'm currently waiting on a call from headquarters. read more

Drove up to order in 2nd lane and waited and waited. No one ever answered my calls for assistance so I turned around and when to the first lane and when I got to order I was told they had just closed out breakfast. When I explained I was in other lane waiting for 5 minutes I was then told the computer wouldn't let her put in the order so I could not get breakfast. Not sure what's going on at this McDs but they service is going down hill. One day they were closed now they display new hours where they are opening later. I don't expect anything more than fast food when I go to a chain. But, I just went through the drive thru at the South Main St, Cheshire, CT. location, and got the worst hamburger that I have ever had. I opted for the quarter pounder with cheese and bacon. The burger was dry and tasteless. I understand that the meat has to be throughly cooked, but I think that it was on the grill for a long time and it wasn't cooked fresh.The bacon consisted of one very thin strip of bacon that was broken in half. Apple wood smoked? I couldn't taste the bacon, never mind whether it was apple wood smoked. There were two, very thin half slices of onion. What is happening to that McDonalds? I get coffee here at least three times a week. I find the staff (both inside and at the drive through window) to be some of the nicest restaurant employees I have ever come across. I don't eat the food much so I can't attest to it, but the coffee is always fresh brewed and hot. It's nice to go to such a large chain where all of the people working there seem genuinely friendly. I gave them two stars instead on one because they are so friendly and nice. However, most of the time the burgers are dry and not hot. I eat at McDonald's 3-4 times per week for lunch and find myself often driving from Cheshire to the Hamden McDonalds because Hamden always has hot and juicy burgers. Since the new Quarter Pounder, Cheshire is good if you order the Quarter Pounder. But any other burgers are dried out and barely warm to room temperature only. Yet, this past Sunday, they even managed to give me a dried out Quarter Pounder. I waited for 15 minutes for my food before the handed me a bag that had been sitting on the back shelf the whole time. The two Quarter Pounders and fries were dry and cold. They need to find a way to serve hot and juicy burgers. They should really talk with the folks at the Hamden McDonalds as they serve hot food every time. I'd say Cheshire's food is hot and juicy about 30-40% of the time. Very nice people and I hate complaining but the food needs to be hot. read more
