A very convenient McDonald's location inside of terminal 2, which was near my outbound departure gate within Chicago O'Hare International Airport. Its small line was what lured me in along with the craving for an order of french fries to obtain some nutrients before my flight. I needed a moment to figure out what I wanted between either french fries, or a fish sandwich. Those tend to be my two choices I order while visiting McDonald's along with either of their smoothies on the menu. The employee was patient with me and once ready, I ended up ordering a medium mango pineapple smoothie, along with medium french fries. I was far from disappointed with the medium french fries nor with the mango pineapple smoothie ordered. Both were fresh and satisfied my hunger at that moment prior to my outbound flight. All in all, a pleasant ordering experience with this McDonald' location. We went here for lunch while passing through. I was impressed with how efficient they were. Even though there were like 8 people ahead of us in the queue, we got our food in like 3 minutes. The only downsides to this place are that there is no seating and their menu is reduced; they only have like 4 regular menu options plus sides and Happy Meals. read more

Wanted to boost their ratings since this is the fastest McDonald's I have ever seen in my entire life. It's in the airport and when you're on the move all you care about is getting accurate orders that are fast. We had basically 15 minutes between our flight. I ordered on the app and got my food in 10 minutes between the other 20 other orders. This place had probably over 10 people packing food a few people at the registers that may have been better used in the back but again, this was the most efficient McDonald's ever. Exactly what I was expecting for a McDonald's at the airport. I LOVE eating McDonald's at the airport. I had the McDonald's in terminal 3 a couple months ago and the McCrispy I had there was SO BAD. The chicken was rubbery and I considered throwing away my sandwich... the McCrispy here is warm, crispy, and has the perfect amount of mayo, which is exactly what I expected and wanted for an $8 burger at the airport. When I showed the manager she said "no refills" and told me next time to ask for light ice. I don't know who pops the lid off their drink to check for ice but I certainly don't. In the past, I was employed at O'Hare Airport and would often dine at this McDonald's while either traveling or working. Unfortunately, I became ill after consuming food from this particular location more then once. I strongly advise avoiding this McDonald's as it is likely to cause sickness and discomfort. This Chicago O Hare airport location really rocks it out. It is a busy spot with with a lot of traffic. There is the regular way to order with a person and at a kiosk with a credit card. I like the computer screen that tells you where your particular order is at in the process of getting your items. I like that all the beverages are made and labeled so when the staff member grabs the food items, the corresponding beverages is right there. There were a few cutting it pretty close to their boarding time to get food, but thats no fault of the restaurant. read more

Okay, so I'm not a fast food person. While waiting at O'Hare in terminal 2, I was hungry and did not have enough time to go to one of the better restaurants in the terminal. You know, I should expect what I get at most fast food chains, particularly McDonald's, and especially one at an airport. I had two burgers. (I had already gotten a coffee elsewhere and don't care for McDonald's fries.) Since they were hamburger and not cheeseburgers, they always make these to order. They were blah. The bun was stale. Let's get this out of the way I love McDonald's therefore my review will be biased. The day I came here was several weeks ago Sunday April 14th. It turns out 1,100 flights get cancelled at O'Hare I was at the airport for awhile after flying into this airport. Getting on a connecting flight that cancels which brings me to this terminal in need of food. People every which caused massive lines. I was happy to get food. I ordered a Filet of Fish meal. The only issue the fish outer coating was a bit dark from not changing their fry oil. It was probably the darkest Filet of Fish I have ever eaten at any McDonald's still tasted good but not great. The fries were ok as well as my Coke. As I said before I love McDonald's and just grateful to get food that day. I didn't get sick which was a plus. Again I am a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to food most people wouldn't even notice or care I am sure of it. read more

It took a minute to receive my order, and once I did it wasn't even hot. I asked for ketchup, and was told "we are out and we are very busy." To me it really just seemed like they didn't want to go to wherever its stored to replenish...BECAUSE WHAT MCDONALDS IS OUT OF KETCHUP AT 7 AM??? On top of that the hash browns were so greasy that they stuck to the paper wrapper, so I had to peel what I could off to eat. Airport McDonald's is way too expensive to be subpar. I have to give them pluses and minuses. +Plus they are in an airport +Plus they are not too slow +Plus it's nice to have a fast food place in the terminal by the gates -Minus it's where two concourses meet so there's so little space. If this McDonald's were Pittsburgh, this would be Point State Park. There's NO ROOM for people to line up and wait for their stuff without almost blocking the people that have to go to and from the E and F concourse hallways through Terminal 2. When this place gets busy (and oh boy does it ever) you will see lines of people at each register with/without bags etc trying to fan out to each while people on the left are yelling out numbers for you to pick up your drinks and you may have to wait for your food afterwards too so you have to come back to the counter twice in some cases. Order to the right, pick up to the left -Minus there's no seating at all. Not really their fault but it's hard to eat on your lap nor would you want to really like spill sauce or ketchup on yourself. -Minus pray they didn't mess up your order. The first time I ever came here they did and I had to weasel my way back to the pick up area just to tell them they forgot something hoping they'd believe me while the employees are still screaming out numbers for pick up and people are getting their drinks and food through 100+ people. Not fun, not fun at all. -Minus the prices are sort of higher than they should be. I know Illinois and Chicago tax are more (like 11%) but I'm used to that being from Toronto where it's 13%. Still, one sausage with egg McMuffin meal and one bacon and egg biscuit meal was over 11 bucks! I guess I'm used to how much McDonald's in Buffalo charges for breakfast... Overall the thought of having a McD's is nice. Where it is and how busy it can get with the space they have assigned to them to operate... not so nice. Still it is an oasis in a place that can really charge more because of where they are. McD's you know what you're getting all the time only here they make you pay a little more for it. read more
