This is sweet breakfast life hack Buy a cinnamon roll on national donut day, unlocks a free coffee and a free chocolate cake donut. Yep!

It was speedy. There was an open table, but busy and everyone was friendly. We got our stuff without confusion and everything was delicious; Delicious just like it always is. Places, clean and bright and welcoming with all of its colors and their families here sitting together at tables while the businessmen come in and pick up boxes and boxes of donuts, adds to the special vibe that the Rosemont location possesses.

Hands down my favorite sweet treat! The Bischoff donut is my favorite, I forgot to get a picture.... well because I went straight to devouring it!!

The store is cute, clean and comfortable. The employees were friendly and the prices pretty reasonable by today's standards. We ordered the bacon and egg sandwich on an everything bagel. The bagel was very good. They say they get their bagels from Steingolds Bagels. The egg was pulled from a wrapped premade square scrambled egg. No better than one from a Mc muffin. The bacon tasted a lot like pre cooked hormel bacon. So other than a quality bagel the rest was standard Sysco. The bagel also could have used some butter or cream cheese. On the other hand we also got the Stans version of a Cronut. That was very good. I don't know what to compare it to since I've never had an original one. I'd probably stick to the donuts and coffee. As for the meat and egg sandwich. There's a Mc Donald's next door. Use the app and get a $2 breakfast sandwich for $7 less. Use that to buy a couple of Cronuts.

Craving a donut is no joke... that donut craving took us to Stan's on a late Thursday morning. Stan's was clean and the employees were funny and in a great mood. The donuts we got... out of this world good. I always get something blueberry-ish and Stan's does blueberry right. The coffee isn't great, but that is the opinion of someone who is pretty picky about their coffee.

The three reasons for five stars at the Rosemont store: 1. Banana Matcha Latte- so excited to find this on the menu & so good! (For all the banana lovers!) 2. The server- unfortunately didn't get her name- was so friendly, personable, knowledgeable, patient in explaining lots of things. Just appreciated her tons! 3. Cushy seats to relax and take it easy! Loved this space!

These donuts are flavorful and big. Definitely worth a try. They have an app with a rewards system. Everything is a bit on the pricey side and I do not recommend their coffees. However the donuts are very pretty and worth it. Quick service and friendly. There's a parking lot as well which makes it convenient.

Stopped in 2 times on a Saturday morning and both times were very busy. I waited in line(In store) for 1 drink for 20 minutes. The second time I went through drive thru, moves much quicker than inside but was still in line for 10 minutes. Both times I've asked for light ice, they clearly heard me as it's on the order on my cup, but they still scooped and filled the cup with ice... I tried to stop in this past Sunday morning and the line was 10 people long, they were basically out of their specialty donuts by 10:45 AM. Tried a specialty donut which was $4 and there was nothing special about it. I will stick to my hole in the wall donut shop by me.

This is an amazing Stan's location! I generally visit a Stan's spot inside my Mariano's because it's just around the corner from the house and I can enjoy a donut with my errand and back home quickly. I saw on social media that Stan's was doing a special orange donut on 10/3 for the release of The Life of a Showgirl and then quickly saw in the comments it was only the free standing locations. This location was the closest to me and so I planned the trip for Friday morning. There is plenty of parking in a very easily navigated parking lot. This location also has a cute patio with seats outside. Walking in the store is brightly lit and very clean. There are booth seats with little tables against the right wall and the windows make the store really inviting. My favorite part about visiting the standalone store compared to the Mariano's store was that there seemed to be so many more donut choices! They had a huge tray of the TLOAS donut that I had stopped in for (and to think I had been worried they would be sold out before I could get there!), but they also had so many flavors of other donuts. The person who helped me was so nice about stopping in for the Taylor Swift donut and commented on my orange shirt for the occasion. I picked out half a dozen donuts total and slid down to the register to order a drink. I was going to order a lemonade and he offered flavor options. Because I saw the refreshers had caffeine in them, I asked if the flavors themselves had the caffeine and he said no, but also that they could make any of the refreshers without caffeine! I didn't know this but was so excited. I ordered the prickly pear refresher sans caffeine and paid. This is a great spot to swing by for a donut or a coffee, and I can't sing enough praises about the quality of the donuts. They are so fresh, they're huge, and with fun and interesting flavors! The Biscoff cookie butter pocket is my absolutely favorite indulgence treat, but the Showgirl frosted with sprinkles were so fun and I loved celebrating the album with Stan's. Thank you!

Overall: Satisfied with the free birthday reward, unique flavors, and large sized donuts. Gave a point off because there's better homemade donut shops around, and in terms of specialty high calorie donuts, I would prefer Krispy Kreme. - Would I return?: Yes, for the Biscoff Pocket first, and also the Pistachio Old Fashioned. My Food ---------- * Ordered- "Pistachio Old Fasioned, Blueberry Okd Fashioned, Biscoff Pocket, Nutella, Hostess Cupcake, and PB&J" * Flavor & Taste- The Old Fashioned are good but are on the dry for me personally. I do love the pistachio flavor though. The Biscoff Pocket was delicious. Very thick and sweet. Nutella was good but not my favorite. The Hostess Cupcake was not memorable but did taste good. And the PB&J was huge! And also tasted like it sounds. The Biscoff Pocket is the winner! * Order again?- Yes to some. * Portion Size vs. Price- Around $3-5 for a specialty donut is fine for me, since it's not an everyday excursion. * Menu Variety- Unique flavors The Place -------------- * Atmosphere- pink theme, cool merch you can buy. Not too much seating. * Service- Nice * Crowd Levels- In the evening there's not a line usually. * Cleanliness- Clean * Location- Individual store, parking lot attached

Server name ( she's a young oriental lady)

I enjoy visiting Stans Donuts in Rosemont, Illinois. The two young women, who are twins, working there are the most caring and loving staff I've ever seen at Stan's Donuts in Rosemont. However, recently, the young lady whose name I can't disclose, who manages the drive-thru and the front cashier, is about 4'5" tall, Asian, with long hair, and usually works early weekend mornings--has been extremely discourteous and outright rude. She consistently talks down to me. I understand they serve hundreds of customers, and it can be overwhelming, but there's no excuse for that behavior; it spoils the entire experience. I try to be generous with tips--not to get her in trouble but to address the issue respectfully. It's not about punishment but perhaps someone should address this concern. Thanks!

I stop in here almost every time I'm in Chicago, either on the way out of or back to O'hare. The donuts are always delicious and the drinks are quick and delicious.

Stan's is a great local coffee shop and bakery. The few times I visited, my latte was consistently almost scaldingly hot. My oatmilk hazelnut latte was more flavorful than the regular caramel latte but both were good. The blueberry cake donut was fresh and the regular glazed donut was fluffy and had a nice crackle to the glaze when split apart for eating. They were both tremendously sugary, as to be expected. The hashbrowns were slightly greasy but well shaped and the breakfast sandwich was proportioned and cooked to perfection. The inside has a kiosk which helps reduce wait time especially on a weekend but it did not seem to have any advantage to shortening the wait time for the food. I like supporting local more than international chain coffee shops and will recommend for anyone visiting the area.

They asked if I wanted to meet for breakfast, and so after looking up the options close to their hotel (which was surprisingly limited), I stumbled upon Elly's. After looking at Yelp reviews, it seemed like a great option and would be easy for them to Uber to. And it was a great choice. We ordered coffee, which they promptly refilled multiple times for us, and then two of us got the crepes with either strawberries or blueberries on top, and the other got one of the omlettes. The crepes were extremely good. Portions are great and prices are reasonable given the amount of food. The staff was friendly at 6:45 in the morning (they were way more awake than I was) No photos of the food because it was my first time meeting one of my colleagues IRL (and only the second time meeting the other) and I didn't want to be weird haha. But trust me that the food looked great. I took my leftovers home to my parents' house (because I was visiting them afterward). I let my dad have them because I knew they wouldn't survive the extra 90 minutes back to my house when I was done with my visit. He told me later he put vanilla ice cream on them and they were delicious, so they held up well in the 45 minutes it took me to get from Elly's to their house, and being reheated later in the day. I'd definitely go back anytime coworkers are at a conference and want to meet up (which is surprisingly often. Perks of living near a hub!)

I don't remember it being this bad but... now I know, I guess. Food was not great. The pancakes were kind of--well, gummy is the word that springs to mind. Not pleasant to eat, at any rate. The omelet I ordered, the Southwestern Omelet I think, was ok. It was a bit thin, but maybe that's just because there were a lot of ingredients in it. The "Homemade" lemonade tasted like it was fountain lemonade. I left half of it, and the half that was consumed was mostly because my child wanted some. That was especially disappointing, because I don't order lemonade at restaurants unless it's not Minute Maid because that stuff is awful--and if Elly's truly has homemade lemonade, they should be embarrassed that it tastes identical to what Coke sells. I don't usually eat everything when I go out for breakfast and am happy to take half home for another breakfast, but I didn't want to take any of this home with me. I will say that they're fast--we were here less than an hour. I think it took fewer than 15 minutes from the time we were seated to when we got our meal, and we didn't order immediately upon being seated. We went on Saturday round 9:45 a.m. and it was half empty, though it was Easter weekend so I'm not sure if that had any impact.

Got the hush puppies appetizer which tasted old and dry. Both of us got the salmon scrambler, which had a few small pieces of salmon. Hash browns were dry potato cubes. Our server was brusque- maybe they were short-staffed? He dropped our food off on the table without a word and never checked back on us. He handed me the credit card machine to put my card into when we were done, without seeing an itemized bill like most restaurants. I only saw the final bill total. I regret giving the tip i gave but I felt pressured since he was right there with his credit card reader and selecting Custom Tip for lower than 20% felt awkward. This way of billing at a sit- down restaurant felt very shady and manipulative. Overall, not a good experience. Will not be going back.

Had the burratta & fig, porkbelly brushetta, and a flatbread as apps. Loved it all. porkbelly was so tender, the burratta & fig was a good balance of sweet and savory. Needless to say, the flatbread was a hit with the kids as well. Other notable dishes were the beef shwarma and the crispy duck. Ambiance- LOVE it! It can be fancy if you want, it can be more casual if you want. Enjoyed the church vibes mixed with modern touch. Very well decorated. The outdoor area is so cute, esp overlooking the lake. We sat indoors but still a wonderful ambiance. Bonus: they have a changing table in the women's bathroom. Sorry, could not confirm in the men's. Service- this was definitely impressive. You don't always get service especially at some of these well known restaurants bc why would you have to have good service? We had made reservations online and it was initially indoor. They were so awesome about switching it to outdoor with out much trouble even if we were 10 minutes late. But the air quality was so bad so once we were about to get settled we requested for indoor again. There was only smiles and a happy to help attitude and got us settled. I want to highlight our waitress, Ciara (Sierra?). With a party of 9, she was so thoughtful of our orders esp for the kids. I mean, when we ordered lemonade for them she even asked if she wants us to water it down and as parents we were like YES! They do not need that much sugar LOL! She was just overall so warm and communicative. She checked in and made sure we were comfortable. My husband and I chose Foxtail on the Lake for our five-year wedding anniversary because we wanted…read morewhat we hoped would be one of the most memorable and romantic dining experiences in the area. We intentionally made this our "no budget" celebration, expecting exceptional food, service, and hospitality. Instead, it turned into one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've ever had. Our reservation was for 7:00 p.m. on July 2, and despite having a reservation, we waited more than 20 minutes to be seated. During that time, we watched people walk in, greet someone they appeared to know, and be seated immediately at the bar while we continued to wait. My husband had gone out of his way to ensure our anniversary would be acknowledged. He noted on the reservation that it was our five-year anniversary, called ahead before our dinner to confirm the restaurant was aware, and even checked with the host stand when we arrived. We weren't asking for anything extravagant--just the kind of small acknowledgment that many restaurants happily provide for guests celebrating a milestone. Nothing happened. There was no congratulations, no acknowledgment from our server, no candle with dessert, no handwritten note, nothing. We even ordered dessert ourselves, and it arrived exactly as if it were any ordinary Tuesday night. The service only added to the disappointment. Our server was curt, rarely checked on us despite our ordering two appetizers, two entrées, dessert, and several rounds of drinks, and never made us feel welcomed or cared for. For a restaurant positioning itself as a destination for special occasions, the level of hospitality simply wasn't there. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for it. Considering the price point, we expected much more. Most dishes were surprisingly bland and underseasoned, and nothing we ordered stood out as memorable. At the end of the evening, my husband politely mentioned everything to the host stand. The response was essentially that our anniversary "must have gotten lost in communication," followed by an offer of a dessert to take home. By that point, the moment had already passed. A boxed dessert cannot replace a once-in-a-lifetime celebration that was overlooked from start to finish. No manager came over to speak with us, no one took ownership of the experience, and there was no meaningful attempt to make things right. This wasn't just dinner--it was our fifth wedding anniversary, a milestone we'll never get to celebrate again. We chose Foxtail because we trusted it would deliver an exceptional experience worthy of the occasion. Instead, we left feeling ignored, disappointed, and wondering why we spent so much money on an evening that felt like an afterthought. If you're looking for a restaurant to celebrate an anniversary, proposal, birthday, or other meaningful milestone, I cannot recommend Foxtail on the Lake based on our experience. There are too many restaurants that understand hospitality and know how to make guests feel special. Sadly, this wasn't one of them.

For the breakfast sandwich and espresso martini it cost about $40 including tax. I found that to be very reasonable considering it's at the airport.

For those sensitive to noise, note that this is a loud place due to music and echo. I was straining my voice to be heard, and the tables around us weren't even full yet. I really enjoyed my time here. I am from California and have had... bad experiences with Mexican food in the Midwest. This place was great. Very fresh, delicious chips and salsa to start! The drinks menu looked great, though I just stuck with water. I ordered the grilled romaine salad with chicken. It was fantastic, and the chicken had genuine deep flavor with gentle heat. Carlos G. provided great service. He checked on our drinks often and helped us pay fast with separate checks at the end. If I ever happen to be in this area again, I would definitely come here. The service and food truly stand out.

I wish I had taken a picture, because the carne asada was a completely different cut of steak, and the pastor was covered in like a chimichurri sauce. However, their margaritas are fantastic. Their watermelon jalapeño, which they can make even if it's not on the main menu, is AMAZING. Perfectly sweet and spicy; I could drink 5! I would suggest just grabbing one and sitting outside in their outdoor area!
