I mean it's McDonald's not really much to say about it. This location is always pretty crowded so I use the app to order ahead. The one annoying thing about the app is that it will not let you finalize your order until you are within a certain geographic distance of the McDonald's that you're ordering from. Other than that it's pretty convenient because you can order it in advance and have them bring it out to your car. You could also choose to walk in or use the drive-through. There's something about Maryland's fear of adhering to grids and any other manifestations of parallel-and-perpendicular-line combos that really livens up fast food restaurants and makes me think of the haphazard nature of campsite arrangement. Just a few miles from another McDonald's (that I really like because it is nestled in the woods and feels like a campsite) is this McDonald's -- positioned in a wooded shopping center next to a Wendy's and a Chick-fil-A, all slightly off-alignment with each other in a way that reminds me of tents or cabins grouped together. It has an interesting layout inside too, with lots of booths and booth-table combos. If you're someone who loves sitting in a booth but frequently dines with someone who loves sitting in a chair (or vice verse) this is the McDonald's for you. You'll have tons of options. I personally like sitting in the two-person half-booth / one chair combos when I'm dining alone, because nobody in their right mind wants to sit in a chair when they could sit in a booth, so it's like I'm not even wasting a seat. There's also a little sun room play area which works much better as a sun room than play area. The only playground prop is literally a large Happy Meal box that kids are supposed to climb inside of. I don't know of any child who is like "I want to pretend I'm food, but if only I had a play area that could help me visualize it better" but whatever, I haven't used a McDonald's play area in years so I'm not the target audience. UPDATE: Bad news. They updated this McDonald's and took out the play area. No more life-sized happy meal box unfortunately. But the fact that they were planning on remodeling this location might explain why the staff seemed to have lost all interest in cleaning the place in the months leading up to it. read more

I do not like my hash browns underdone. And this one was so underdone that I very nearly brought it back to the counter. Instead, I decided that I didn't really need all that fat and extra calories. I waited longer because they were supposedly preparing my order with mustard. The worker even apologized for the mix up and my additional wait time. Background: Sooo, like I'm starving. Don't typically do McD's but hey my body should be able to tolerate the fish. Plus, I'm starving. My first choice is the chicken place next door BUT I'm already beyond my eat time and I already know I'd eat their delicious waffle fries and I absolutely would've gotten a small frozen lemonade although I already have my lemon and seltzer water with me. So to avoid alllll those delicious extra calories, I divert total disaster and set my taste buds on a McD fish with mustard and NOTHING else. Nope no small fry. No Coke. No frappe. No smoothie. I'll sip my home bought lemon and seltzer water mix. Y'all - YES - Y'ALL not you all or everyone or everybody - Y'ALL!!! Why did my long awaited for only meal of the day come WITHOUT MUSTARD!!! ‍‍ How! Why!?¿? It was on the screen. You all caught it at the window. Not a huge mcds fan, but sometimes for whatever strange reason I will crave a filet-o-fish or a mcdouble sandwich. I don't have high expectations for any mcds I visit; however, I do want what I order and pay for to be in my bag. For some crazy reason sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies sound the same at this location. Twice -- not once -- but twice, chocolate chip cookies have taken the place of my sugar cookies without my knowledge. Guess it's a great thing I'm not allergic to chocolate!! Never have a huge problem with the staff, but it would be nice to ALWAYS get straws, condiments, and napkins in the bag instead of having to ask for them. Drive thru is the worse! Always check your order before pulling away from the window. Sucks to get home only to realize half your order is still at the place. read more

Best McDonald's I've visited in a long time. My husband and I visited the GoodWill Superstore on Saturday, Feb 11th and stopped by the McDonald's during a high-traffic lunch time. We ordered quickly and got our food to go. We ordered 2 Big Mac Meals. The sandwiches looked like the ones on the commercial, the fries were hot and not too salty, the sweet tea wasn't too sweet. My family patronized this establishment during their breakfast time twice within a 4 week span. Both times, the people forgot to place syrup in the bags. In addition, they did not put a single napkin in the bags (not one single napkin). On the second trip to purchase breakfast when my food was handed to me I ask if all of condiments were placed in the bag. I specifically told the lady that the last time I was there I did not receive any syrup. She quickly assured me that everything is in the bag. So I quickly checked, and what do you know, they weren't any syrup or napkins in the bag. Furthermore, the window in which you pay for the food has been broken for over 2 years. So I have to strategically maneuver my hands with my payment through the barely open window. I find it interesting when I ask the people at the window when they are going to finally fix the window, they all in chorus proclaim, "the window works." On my most recent visit, June 29, 2013, when I asked the young Hispanic women when they were planning on fixing the window, she angrily looked at me and stated that the window does open. What a profound revelation. I guess they like keeping a small opening in the window where they can barely reach their hand out to receive payment, and where they have to put their face to the opening to speak with you. It's like they are speaking to you behind a door with a small slot opening just big enough to see you and to communicate. So would I return to this McDonalds, even though they routinely skip town with the condiments, and some of the employees look at me with disgust, I'm on the fence. I hope the owner of this franchise will take pride and train his entire staff on being professional and courteous. And for heaven sakes fix that window. This is just another example of an owner(s) who cares about squeezing every little cent from his business into his pockets, than focusing on making his business into something that represents the quality, professionalism, friendly and welcoming place that embodies the McDonalds Legacy. read more

I used to go to this location all the time because it was on the way to work. They were fine at first, but it got to the point where my order would be messed up every single time! In my last visit there, I the food all tasted wrong, made me feel like I would be sick, and when I went to get some water from the machine, there were black specks floating around in my cup. Although the cashier who took my order was polite and well-mannered, the workers in the background were loud, rowdy, and talkative. I overheard when worker call out "shut up" to another worker. All I ordered was a small pack of fries, and I had to wait a long time ...... and my friend and I were the only customers in the store!!!!!! Perhaps the store was busy with its drive-thru???? Wish I could give it 0 stars. I ordered spicy nuggets, but received regular so I came back through the drive-thru and told the lady at the speaker, she told me to go to the second window. When I got there, the girl at the window (different from the lady at the speaker) (she was young, lot of earrings, curly hair, looked hispanic, tan skin, hair tied back) she stared at me and didn't say anything. I spoke first and let her know my situation and she asked me RUDELY to repeat myself about 5 times and each time I spoke up louder. She finally understood the first half of my sentence and asked me to repeat the last part, but I naturally repeated the whole thing and she cut me off saying "just the last part." Eventually she said "so you just want a spicy 6 piece" WITH a horrible attitude. I said yes and she walked away with more attitude and handed me my food with attitude.
