They renovated a few years ago and have a kids area with some hologram games on the floor and light up tables. My family and I each ordered simple cheeseburger meals, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. Several of the burgers were made incorrectly, with extra ingredients added when they were supposed to be plain. The chicken sandwich was also missing cheese, and the fries were cold and tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. One employee stood out for being kind and genuinely trying to fix our orders. He also apologized to other customers whose orders were affected during the time we were there, which we really appreciated. The dining area did not seem very clean. Multiple tables had leftover food, including in the play area, which made the space feel unkempt. Every single time I order at the drive thru here, after paying they will ask that I pull into one of the parking spots to wait for the food to finish (2 happy meals and a 10 piece nugget). After parking in the designated spot, I will have to wait an additional 20-25 minutes for the food to be brought out, and then, it is ALWAYS missing something (fries, sauces etc). I will then tell the food runner employee about the missing item, and 75% of the time they will say "okay" but never return with the missing item, then I'll have to go back inside the restaurant and plead my case with the workers in there, showing proof that I paid for an item that was not received. Our family has been not given butter or syrup for hot cakes two weeks in a row. We spoke with a manager Jen and she took zero responsibility for the issue stating she'd talk it over with crew. We asked for replacement since hotcakes are pretty much garbage without the right ingredient. She got very rude and said she Will NOT FIX THE ISSUE. we asked to speak to a higher up manager Kim and again refused to help with issue. We don't keep syrup in the fridge . The service is absolutely ridiculous and they should be watched closely by heqdquaters for their terrible service. Twice this week I have had missing items from my order. They are notorious for forgetting McNugget sauce. No matter how simple or standard your order is be prepared to park and wait. Numerous times our orders have been messed up, but we keep coming back. I am currently sitting in a parking space waiting for a frappe, about 20 minutes now. That was after going through a very long and slow line up to the window to pay for my order. Just about every time we come through, we are asked to pull up into a parking space and sit. My family stopped at this McDonald's on our drive home to Indiana from Florida. My son was excited because it had an outside play area. However, once my husband and I walked inside we noticed how filthy it was. It was 5:30 pm, hardly anyone inside or in the drive through. The floors and tables had not been cleaned, the trash was overflowing in the play area, old baby sipper cups and pools of standing water in the tables in the play area, crumbs around the window sills, and the trays were piled up on top of the trash cans. There were plenty of employees working, but apparently no one was taking care of the customer areas. I worry about the food quality of any restaurant that keeps such dirty conditions of their seating area!! I would recommend that you stay away from here and keep going to the next exit if you are traveling. read more
