I have been to several Raising Cane's restaurants over the past year or so. I see them get a lot of hate on social media. "Bland", "tenders are too small"... I can honestly say I don't get it. We love us some Cane's. Yesterday, we were craving some Cane's, so we found this location on the way home from being away for a short weekend and this place was packed! Couldn't get in the drive as the line for the drive thru was wrapped around the building. Once we did manage to park, we quickly made our way inside only to find it packed as well. But the workers were on it. They know what they are doing at this location. Normally, spouse and I order the box. Has four tenders, slaw, fries and Texas toast. We always order and extra slice each. We also order an extra serving cup of sauce since you can never get enough. Yesterday... We did the Caniac Combo meal. Six tenders, slaw, fries and Texas toast. Extra toast. Then things got out of hand. We ordered a cup (yes, a cup) of Cane's Sauce. $5. Worth it. No regrets. Even tho the place was packed, the service was quick. While the restaurant wasn't necessarily noisy, one dip of a chicken tender in the cup of sauce and every sound melted away. Just two people with their Caniac meals and a cup of Heaven. The chicken was piping hot, as were the fries, the slaw is always great... but we added some Cane's Sauce to it and took it to another level. The tenders were large as were the portions of fries. Spouse couldn't finish the fries. They didn't skimp at all. We walked out with stomachs full. And plenty of Cane's Sauce left to enjoy at home. Definitely recommend. read more

The food was great. It was our first visit - the Florence KY team is excellent and friendly. They are helpful and the inside of this location is very clean. The supplies for customers is well stocked and clean. My kid loves this place and we've been 3 times in 2 days. One thing about the Raisin Canes APP is it's a complete dinosaur. The location will be required to physically give you an actual physical , plastic rewards card by request only, and tell you to take it home and register it. The registration process is a dinosaur. If you don't choose a prefix for your name, e.g. "Mr, Ms, Miss..." it will not let you register. Talk about the 1980's. You can't see your password in the registration process to be sure they match. You'll never get this time back. And the Rewards, "card number" they require and the registration code on the back of this physical card is so tiny you'd better have a magnifying glass, don't be a grandparent, and have lots of patience. After 45 minutes I'm done trying to register this card. Too bad they don't join the modern world and just people sign up on the app without a physical member rewards card in our to earn rewards. In spite of this major letdown of the corporate office/ this restaurant and staff is fantastic and deserves full stars for excellence in every way. The "Raisin Canes", chicken was fresh and hot every time. Light, crisp batter. The fries were perfect, hot, fresh and crisp. And my kids love the Texas toast. And again this staff if absolutely top-notch! Good front end people who deserve to be there. Today we went back for lunch and a pleasant associate brought our food directly to our table. The presentation is beautifully arranged and clean baskets and paper. All new service-ware, everything looks and feels nice . I recommend this place! We'll be going several times per week. My kids are insisting on it. I'll have to wait for them to get modern and maybe get the app right (customers should NOT need a physical card) to register within a few years when they join the 2020's. But you should go to this location. They do Customer Service and chicken "right!" The line for drive thru is around the building and down the street for a reason. Food was fresh and good, the lady who rang us up was rude. Bad service, ignored us trying to get her attention to clean a mess, constantly rudely staring then proceeded to tell me how to parent my son ! The other 2 ladies were so sweet and kind, told us not to worry about the messes my son made. While we were boxing our food getting ready to leave she started trying to be so nice and make conversation and asked if I was mad at her. Cane's Chicken has been getting worse in recent years but this location is still going strong. They're super efficient with orders and everything is super hot/crispy. Eating inside is rare and I mostly take it home. Great location compared to others around Cincinnati! read more

This is right next to the Home2 which I stayed at, so walked over to grab lunch. Due to COVID, only the drive-thru is open, so I had to walk back, get the car and drive over haha joys of pandemic life! Basically the have chicken fingers, fries, garlic bread and coke slaw. Also buns for chicken finger sandwiches. The chicken was good. Not cold, but not hot. Fries were ok. I dipped them in the sauce and that was pretty good. Garlic bread was only grilled very light on one side. The other side was just regular bread. Again, OK but not great. They have the nice crushed ice and Coke Zero so that's a plus for me. The chicken does not stand out in any way... taste, size, crunch, portion, quality, uniqueness... and therefore the line and the wait were unjustified. Even the sauces were just okay. I can think of three other chains I would go to before coming here, and highly doubt we shall return. 5* food, 3* restaurant. I typically get food to go at his location due to all the negative dining in experiences I've had here. Today, my family and I decided to dine in, and...I would still recommend carry out. Let's talk positives first; the chicken is always crispy on the outside and juicy tender goodness on the inside. The canes sauce is one of my favorite things to dip and use for tenders and fries. I like that you can substitute the slaw (not that it's bad, I'm just not a slaw guy) for extra fries, sauce, or Texas toast. The lemonade is fresh squeezed and makes a great Arnold Palmer when mixed with there sweet tea. There is an up charge for lemonade that I don't like but I get it. So, the negatives to dining in...they tables and chairs never seem to be clean, any time we have asked a staff to help clean a table it's been met with resistance, and there have been a few occasions that the music being played is not child friendly. Most of this was the experience when we ate in the restaurant today and why I recommend just getting it to go. I feel like there is an opportunity for this location to improve and I have not given up on eating in again. I know it can be crazy busy there but when we went it was pretty slow and didn't see a reason as to why someone couldn't help clean up. Regardless, enjoy the 5* food! read more

Social media inspired our desire to find a Raising Cane's, though there's none convenient to us. So while we were in KY, we took advantage of the opportunity. Twice. The menu is simple. Chicken tenders, fries, bread. There's also a sandwich, and slaw, but that's absolutely it. The food was delicious and hot. That sauce, tho! So good! The service was quick. First time visiting a Cane's location, and I love me some chicken tenders, so you know I was excited, but though the chicken was good, the overall vibe and experience left me a feeling a little let down. The chicken itself was fantastic. It was hot, tasted good and the food came out fast, but the guy at the register seemed kind of zoned out and unconcerned with any of the customers in line. The menu is really small, and so thats a little disappointing, but a little variety is also just a personal preference. I ordered the 4 piece meal, it comes with 4 tenders, Cane's sauce, a slice of bread, fries, cole slaw and a drink. It was reasonably priced, and the chicken and iced tea were really good (and they have nugget ice, so bonus points)... That being said, I was not a fan of the only sauce option on menu being the Cane's sauce (or ketchup from the condiment station)... the fries were crinkle cut, and were just ok. The side of bread was pointless, perhaps they should stop offering the bread and bread money should be re-budgeted to offer more sauce options :) Also, I really did not care for the slaw, it was all mayonnaise and not enough cabbage and the spices they used gave it kind of an odd flavor. This place is quite literally heaven on earth. Their chicken fingers and canes sauce is out of this world. My girlfriend and I frequent this place when we're craving chicken. Plus, you can't resist their garlic toast and canes sauce. The inside is nicely decorated, tons of cool stuff on the walls. The drive-thru moves pretty quickly unless theirs a rush, which is common because everyone wants their canes and I don't blame them. ‍ The menu is pretty simple. Chicken fingers. Theres various combos, depending on how many fingers you want or if you want a chicken finger sandwich. Combos come with a drink, fries, garlic toast, and canes sauce. Most except one I believe also come with coleslaw. You have the options to get extra sauce, toast, fries, and extra chicken fingers. Their sweet tea is also delicious. Rating is 4 stars, because EVERYTIME we go through the drive-thru we get soggy, coldish french fries, and sometimes weird bread because it's packaged in styrofoam trays. I really wish they'd change that because it makes your food soggy and not pleasant. Most of the time when we get our food to go we make sure we get home quickly, so it's still fresh. Literally the best fast food chicken on the planet, by a landslide. Nothing comes anywhere remotely close. The sauce was similar to to Zaxby's sauce, perfect for the chicken and fries. Service was pretty good, can't complain, they were friendly people that actually listen to what you say, leagues more than what you get at other fast-food joints. Here's a big point, the music wasn't just a radio station. I hate the radio: songs, commercials, the fake voices, everything. This place managed to get music that was unique and didn't make me wish I ate outside --not many places can achieve that for me. I came. I saw. And I probably won't go again. I'm sorry but I just don't get the hype. This place just seems like another fast food restaurant to me. The chicken fingers were juicy and surprisingly hot (A+ for having hot food) Fast food is gross enough and when it's cold it's even worse. Which brings me to my next point, my fries were sad, small, cold, and unsalted. They were skinnier than regular crinkle fries too. One thing I didn't like and this is just my personal preference is that the outside batter of the chicken is reminds me of crunched up cornflakes. I prefer my chicken fingers to be more of a breading consistency. Best part of the trip: hot tenders, the cane sauce (spicy, peppery, mayo based sauce - delish!) Well, I've been a long time Cane's maniac and visited countless Cane's locations across the country. This one makes me question, did something change recently or is this an isolated issue with this location. The good: The service was the service was fast and friendly. I ordered online so I didn't have to wait in line. Just walk up and go. The Bad: the chicken strips were literally half the size I usually get. A 3 piece does me just right. I could do a 6 but it's just too much. Not this time. My 6 pieces were supposed to be for dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow. When I got home and opened my meal I was shocked at how tiny the strips were. They were thin and barely longer than the sauce cup. Like large nugget size. It appeared that they were about half the size than other locations I've visited over the years. So disappointed. I ate my dinner and tomorrow's lunch. On a different note. They have signs up in their store referring to a program to save restaurants across the county. I hope they are not planning on shorting or reducing the portions to save a a dime. If so, I won't be going back. I know Covid has been especially hard on these types of businesses and for a while they lost a lot of business.
