It's time I learn my lesson with this place.I'm going to have to start driving down to the one further down from me where i've never had an issue or just find new restaurants to eat at. The worst thing is, when you make an order, specify what you want.You're not told they're out of anything until you get home and realize that they decided to give you whatever they had on hand. My son is ADHD/ODD and very particular with his food. He does not eat his nuggets with any other sauce other than barbecue sauce, well turns out the restaurant ran out. Didn't inform me that they ran out? So when I got home of course, he was extremely disappointed and I had just spent all this money ordering him all these nuggets that he now will not eat. I called the restaurant to find out what happened to my sauces. I was told oh, they ran out someone should have told you so I explained well, .no one did so now what do I do with these nugget that he will not eat?They told me that wasn't their problem and they will not be refunding me anything but I can come back tomorrow sometime when they have the sauces available and they'll give me a couple packs. I was so dumbfounded that, that actually came out of her mouth. Don't get me wrong. I know how hard it is to find good help. I hope whoever I spoke to on the phone wasn't a manager or supervisor because if so ,she is truly in the wrong profession but I did make it clear that was not acceptable and I will be there first thing in the morning to speak to a manager with all the uneaten food and either the food is replaced or I want a full refund. The fact that me and my family eat McDonald's several times a week and spend good money saddens me because of the way that they choose too handle the situation just cost them once loyal customers. This morning, I used the App and received an order number. At the drive-thru, window, and counter, staff claimed they did not have my order. I showed them the correct address, but all they said was, "If it's not on the screen, we don't have it!" So much for technology and customer service! read more

The employee threatened to give my food away to other customers, and rudely snapped at me that I 'cant hear' when I went to get my food

Ordered a quick $5 mcchicken meal through the drive through, noticed the fries were haphazardly dumped into the bag, sandwich was half wrapped and some of the food items had a hair/fiber stuck to them (pictures included). Disappointed with the food, seeing the clumps of hair/fiber really drove off any appetite. read more

The service is great we were eating in and the manager gave us a tray because we ordered on the mobile app and he didn't know we where dining in so then he gave us a tray and he was very nice. And the food is perfect. And the lighting is perfect. read more

This McDonalds in Alva seriously needs better management. They take forever at the drive thru even though it's a dual lane and often do not acknowledge the substitutions in the app. It's a staple as one of the few fast food places in the area, but they definitely need to overhaul the service issues. read more

The mobile app defaults your order to your last location instead of the nearest. I mistakenly ordered my order to a location 30 minutes away from the one I meant to place the order at. I contacted the restaurant and the woman told me to cancel it within the app. McDonald's currently does not offer cancelations in the app, per their FAQ's, and suggests to reach out to the website. I call a second time and the same woman puts me on hold for 15 minutes until I finally give up. I think this more of a flaw in their app, but this has to happen often. Regardless, the app says to contact the restaurant for a refund. Had to bite the bullet on this one. read more

I love McDonald's iced tea! Consistently good tasting and fresh. Also love the app with all the discount offers. I'm not often a fan of McDonald's restaurants, but this one is better than most! Has a little bit of a small town/Alva feel, which I love. They have lots of staff and there are 2 guys who seem to be managers with 1 of them almost always on site helping with orders and keeping things running smoothly. What I've noticed about the guys (both of them) is that they're typically calm & the way they talk with their employees (who range from teens to geriatric to special needs) is admirable, even when their asking their employee to do something or fix something. From my limited view, it looks like servant leadership in action. I also applaud these guys for being willing to employ so many different ages/types of people and being patient with those individuals. Even when directing an employee to another task, they seem to do it in a way that treats the employee with dignity. Well done! We see your great work. read more

Waited 20 min to get 2 burgers! Both burgers came out completely wrong. I go inside and ask for a manager, took the manager 10 min to get from her office to the front desk. They only had chicken sandwiches, and when I got them they were bone dry and with no toppings or anything, just stale bread and chicken, and I ordered the deluxe one too man :( might as well flush my money down the toilet :) better luck going to the Wendy's down the street read more

Went in and asked for a new one and they gave me the same cup and just added whipped cream, the whipped cream was all shooken up and melted; it looked worse than before!! Ordered two quarter pounders with cheese and a large fry at the drive through. The burgers were the worst ever. The bun was stale, the meat dry, the cheese was cold and the onions were cut in large chunks. The fries were cold and undercooked. Will never go to this location again. read more

Over priced cold to luke warm food, no concept of customer service, too busy talking to each other so they speak, they just take your money and stick a bag out the window. Horrible place, rude management and unethical practices for it's employee's. I will NEVER order from this place again!!! I feel sorry for the employee's there, waiting for 5months for a final paycheck is unheard of! Time to call a lawyer since we cannot get any answers or calls back about this matter!
