The kiosk wouldn't allow me to complete payment, and after placing my order, I had to wait about five minutes just to pay at the counter. It then took 22 minutes to receive our food, and even after that long wait, the order was incorrect. There was no apology for the delay or the inconvenience. Definitely not impressed. I decided to go into the restaurant instead of the drive-thru because they were at least eight cars in the drive-thru. As I was walking up there was a disgruntled customer standing in front of me so I patiently waited several minutes while three employees walked around looked at me at the eye but totally ignored me. Finally one employee ask me what I would like to order. I ordered three tall coffees. Once he rang my credit card he walked over and there are three employees stood in a huddle and talked for several minutes. Finally he began to get my coffee then he set my three coffees on a shelf at the back while the other two employees continue to ignore the fact that my coffees were sitting right there and that's all I needed. As much as I like McDonald's this specific McDonald's the employees acted very nonchalant and very uninterested in being at work and actually didn't really seem to appreciate the fact that they had business. Absolutely awful! I drove here places my order and the girl got the order wrong. I told her there were only 3 items listed on the screen and she said no I have 4 so I pulled around. Got home was missing the bacon egg and cheese biscuit and the sausage egg and cheese McMuffin. So I drive back and all the girl wants to do is argue with me I couldn't even believe it. I only got the McMuffin and never got the bacon egg and cheese biscuit. Where is all the good help anymore? Customer service? I have never had an issue while going through drive thru. The moment I walk in, the people in front of me appear to either work here or be friends with the staff so while I stand there waiting to be taken care of, the cashier and the two young ladies carried on having a conversation for 15 minutes. Then another 5 to take their orders. When I actually go to order, I received attitude as if I interrupted their conversation. Then I proceeded to wait 35 minutes to receive my food while another set of customers waited to be taken care of. I had a coupon for BOGO breakfast bacon,cheese ,egg biscuit. Drive thru was quick my breakfast was cold. I took a bite as I drove away. It was sitting under heat lamps. We all waited in anticipation as the two story McDonalds took shape! I think the best thing about the makeover is the wall art inside: there are several Fort Myers inspired murals inside, really cool. They have a kiosk capability, upon entering we were ushered to place our order from there, it seemed like a bit of an overkill with no line at the register. We ordered two chicken nugget happy meals for the two children and received 2 different style toys in their bags. Lovely. This corner lot has always been a high traffic area. Parking is tight. The makeover is a better use of interior space for sure. With all of this lovely space inside would've been cool to retain some element of it as fun for kids. Aside from peeking into the kitchen not really much for kiddos to do making other choices like Chik-fil-a more of a crowd pleaser. read more

I understand getting an order wrong every once in a while but it has been EVERY SINGLE TIME. not only is the order wrong, the fries taste like they are days old. The issues with food wouldn't be so aggravating if the staff was polite or helpful! OMG. It took three minutes for me to get an iced coffee and I was the only one in the restaurant. The place looked clean as well as the bathrooms but four flushes for a number one and the purse hook was broken off. The cashier was friendly but had to ask for help when another person walked in while I was waiting for my iced coffee. I don't usually write bad reviews just because I like to think you can't judge an industry's location on one bad experience, but this is my third time being here and it was just as bad if not worse than the first two times. I went in an ordered on the kiosk, and ordered a small fry, McDouble, spicy mcChicken and a frappe. And waited 10 minutes for my order, not to mention it was only myself in the lobby and one other. They are more fixated on the drive thru and other issues than making sure everything is done efficiently. No excuses as to why I waited so long other than then probably more worried about their drive thru times. 10 minutes is ridiculous, and not even an apology for the wait. I work in the food industry and I understand when you are busy there is only so much you can do, but their is a lack of speed and efficiency at this location. This is the new two storey building on the corner of Colonial and Summerlin. The first floor has ordering kiosks, food pick-up, and some dining areas. Everything is new and, so far, kept very clean. I love the ordering kiosks because you can add extras or omit things. If you don't want onions, you can indicate that. If you want extra bacon, feel free to add it. These are not the requests that get filled easily when ordering from a person. You can pay at the kiosk or at the counter and you get a little placard with a number if you're dining inside. They will bring your food to your table, even if you've chosen to sit on the second floor. There are stairs and and elevator to get upstairs. Unfortunately, there is not a soda machine on the second floor although they do have condiments and napkins. Food is just a wee bit slower coming out when you ask for extras or other adjustments. Sitting on the second floor gives you a great view of the extremely busy intersection. read more

My original review gave this McDonalds 3 stars. I had to update this with my recent visit. The McDonalds ended up giving the order last night on the drive thru to the car before us. Instead of remaking, they gave a refund. So we returned today with a manager approved redo of the meal. They messed up that order too! They forgot the mayonnaise, thinking packets would do. How do you mess up an order, twice? And they want a minimum wage increase? I'm sorry, but get my order right before asking for a f*cking raise. read more
