This is the absolute worst McDonald's in Frederick. They're always slow, the inside often smells awful (like a sewer), and the food is always lukewarm or cold by the time it gets to you. Seriously, 10-15 minutes in the drive through at 3:30 on a Sunday with only a handful of cars? Nobody is apologetic. As a matter of fact, the manager acts like he's trying to rush you along after having you wait. I'm 100% serious. let's all be honest, mcdonald's has never been perfect, but this one does it right. I have been price comparing this one with other mcdonald's, and this one is actually cheaper than any others in the area, especially when you use the mcdonald's app. i come here most sunday mornings and the employees are kind, especially the spanish one. the building is very clean and nice. the food is also better than most mcdonald's. You just can't judge mcdonald's on the same scale as a sit-down restaurant. if you want to go to a nice fast food place, i recommend coming here. read more

This location advertises coffee free during breakfast hours. Unless the manager is there and working the window apparently no one else in the store knows about this. I have to have an argument almost every morning. One told me it's only for small, one told me it's not when you pay with the app. Nathan has explicitly told me it's for any hot coffee. Trying to find a working phone number for the store or local corporate/owners to discuss is also impossible. read more

You would think at 11 you'd get fresh and hot lunch... WELL, you'd be mistaken. I have yet to get anything hit from this place. Or fresh for that matter. They over prep do they can fast grab but everything YOU PAY FOR.... Is cold. I would rather ask for it raw so I can make it at home myself since I have to reheat everything anyways but Lettuce and reheating doesn't work. So I grocery shop more and cook at home because fast food is crap food. I've managed many fast restaurants and I'd NEVER serve what I wouldn't eat myself. That's how I trained my staffs. If they can't be better than what they'd do for themselves then customers don't want to return. This and many McDonald's have the worst food when they use to be so repetitive at being predictable... now they are predictable at being horrible. Cold soggy fries. GO TO WENDY's.... They should be red lash frying to reheat and crisp up those fries. That was how we were trained 28 years ago. They stopped doing it for lazy or cost affective reasons but since it's back they are becoming the Wendy's I know. Also ask for no salt on your burger and it will be made fresh. I can't have salt. I do it fit my fries too. It's worth the extra wait when your money you hand over (usually $15-40) is paying for quality food and not the crap I'd feed a stray dogs who was starving to death and on the verge of dying. Cuz I won't feed my dog soggy limp greasy fries ... nor will I eat them myself. Which means I just won't return and I write reviews in hope that others won't and restaurants learn that customers do matter and we are right most of the time. Go elsewhere... find a place that takes your money but gives you what you deserve in exchange not just something they hope you'll settle for. Put them out of business if we have too. Another restaurant can try to fill that spot ... and hopefully do better. If not then rinse repeat! read more

I was in the area babysitting a 9 year old and her little brother while their parents were on vacation and one night about 8pm the 9 year old announce that I hadn't fed her all day. Now of course she'd eaten plenty over the course of the day, but none of that counted since she didn't think of the other foods as a meal but snacks. We found this location about 5 mins from Ft Deitrick gates and pulled into the drive through. The drive through order taker was nice and pleasant. When we pulled around to the window her fries and nuggets were hot and fresh Practically saved my reputation as a reliable babysitter in the eyes of a 9 year old. read more

Ordered a lg caramel frap at the McDonald's on 7th Street and a hash brown. The cup had a slit down the side and when I picked it up from my cup holder it started running down the front of me and was ALL over the truck. When I got to work, which is only 1/3 mile down the street I had a unbelievable mess and 1/2 of my drink was gone:( I tried calling them from 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with a busy signal continuously), WOW what customer service. To add insult to injury, the hash brown was cold when I got to it and hard as a rock, apparently it had been warmed for some time. This McDonald's is the worst for drive thru late at night. I'm with door dash. They make you wait in line to just pick up a paid order and by the time we get it it's cold and we at door dash get blamed for cold food even though we are equipped with hot bags. Please improve this for your delivery pick up items!!!! read more

Several months ago I was in the drive-thru to place an order. The worker had such an attitude I drove away, as did the woman in front of me. I spoke with the owner the next morning about the incident. She offered to comp a meal for me, but I stated it wasn't necessary. I very rarely go to McDonalds. The other night I didn't feel like cooking and was extremely busy so I went. I ordered a Double Cheeseburger and Big Mac, figuring I would take the big mac for lunch the next day. Open my Big Mac and there's no burgers. So I call, the manager tells me to stop that night and they'll comp my meal. I get my Big Mac. I joke with the young man at the window asking if there's any burgers on my Big Mac, he says no. I take it that he's joking and drive off. I get home, open the Big Mac and again no burgers. This time when I call I really angry. So we'll see if they can get it right next time. read more

I visit the area weekly and I have always been a McDonald's fan but today, this location's service and food fell well below my expectations. I was in line for the drive thru for over 20 minutes and about 5 minutes of that was spent clarifying my order with the attendant. When we came to the first window, the attendant verified the wrong order. After explaining our order again, we got it right and made it to the second window. At the second window, we waited another 5 minutes to get our food. Once we got home, my order was still incorrect and the food was disappointing. I do not recommend this McDonald's location. The 7th street location is much better. read more

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. No customer service at all. They will treat you like crap. Customers are always wrong.

I usually only come here for ice team and French fries. This particular visit was just for an ice cream cone. It tasted great and they got it to us quickly! It was small and lopsided and because of the drive they set up, double sided ordering kiosks, another car almost hit us as we both headed to the payment window. Though this is my first review here I've come many times in the past and usually they are way more rude n slow than today. Nice improvement read more

Clean and fast. Not sure what else you could want from a McDonald's. They take the coupons that come in the mail, and are always very polite. Fast, salty food + saving money has me coming back more often than I'd like to admit. read more

I have been in this location many times . I live near and some how they always manage to give me the wrong order. Today they over charge me and assumed I was going to be ok if they added a 10 piece nuggets it would fixed my problem. No I would like it if they actually listen and take the correct order. And not over charge me. And don't act like I need to move and give me something for me to just leave. read more

I used the drive through. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Service was perfect.

What I get is usually good. I really only go to this McDonald's as a last resort because it is 24 hours and right down the street, but I never get my entire order. If it's only a sandwich or two, I'll get it, but if I'm with people and we get more than three things, there is always food missing. I never check until I get home but I've had 5 sandwiches missing before. I don't mind once, but it's nearly every time I've gone to this specific McDonald's. read more

So for starters, the food is relatively ok for a McDonald's. But the service is absolutely horrible. I was in there at one point with 2 friends, I ordered my meal and sat in the back next to the bathrooms. I waited for my meal to come and the woman who brought it to me slammed it down on the table across the room from me. I asked her very politely "can I get some bbq sauce please?" She looked at me with such annoyance and left. I got up to retrieve my food and sat back down where I was originally sitting. 2 minutes later she comes back and slams the bbq sauce down on the same table across the room but even harder than before and leaves with such attitude. So I had to go and retrieve it once again. The people this McDonald's hires really needs an attitude check because that is a place of customer service. Don't be rude and act like my request are gonna kill off the entire human population. So freaking rude. read more
