TLDR: Old-school burger & dog stand with outdoor seating only. Food is delicious, prices are great, and it's a perfect stop on a sunny day. Expect a wait at peak hours, but worth it. Beef 'N Buns 'N Paradise is one of those hidden gems that feels like summer. This fast casual burger and hot dog stand is walk-up only, with outdoor seating and a handful of parking spots (which fill up quickly during peak times). You order at the window from a huge menu and wait for your name to be called over the loudspeaker. We tried a few of their hot dogs, the Chicago Dog and the Chili Nacho Cheese Dog and both were awesome. The dogs were snappy, flavorful, and loaded with toppings. We also grabbed the double patty melt, which was superlative. The patties were juicy, the rye bread was perfectly griddled, and the whole thing just hit. The onion rings deserve their own shoutout too, crispy, hand-breaded, and the perfect side item. And of course, we had to finish with dessert. We got vanilla soft serve cones with black cherry flavor burst on one and coffee on the other. Super tasty and the perfect ending. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size. It's exactly the kind of place you want to hit up on a sunny weekend or for a casual dinner after work.

This place just feels like a family owned local hot spot in Frederick. Unpopular opinion but I actually enjoy the fries more than the burger itself. Not to say the burger is bad it's actually pretty good, but the fries are out of this world in my opinion. They have amazing shakes too. If you eat here make sure the weather is nice as all of the seating is outside. If you want a local town burger you can't go wrong here. Wish it was easier to order online since they're old school and you call to place a to go order. Otherwise great spot.

You could easily miss this place and think that it's an ice cream store, but it's NOT just an ice cream store. They served me one of the best burgers that I've ever had. My husband and I were driving by Frederick, MD and their location and reviews were a big draw. I ordered the Cajun blue and my husband got the rowdy burger platter. Both were delicious. The flavor combinations were very well done. When your order's ready they announce it over their intercom system and bring it to the back of the building where you pick it up. One reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there's not a lot of seating outside and no indoor seating from what I could see.

A favorite of mine! Their serving sizes are massive! The ice cream and shakes are great! Friendly customer service, and on a nice day it feels good to sit outside :). It's an unassuming spot and it does give me a nostalgic feeling of some island themed fun parks I used to go to as a kid :). I highly recommend the black raspberry lemonade! They also take call ahead orders! If you get a chance, check out this awesome spot.

So I decided to bring my toddler her for a burger, for a burger joint I was disappointed that they dont offer kids burgers. So I ended up buying her an adult burger which was just cheese and a burger on a bun. We also got french fries. I got Cajun blue burger and an ice cream cone and all of that came to $32. In my mind, it was a little expensive for a meal between me and my toddler. Fries were pretty great but The onion must've been old because out of all of the condiments on the Cajun blue. I only tasted the onion not only while I was eating it but also for long after. Glad we tried it, probably won't be back.

BBQ pulled pork with tomato and onions

Got some takeout from here the other night and it did not disappoint. Pretty good greasy diner like spot. From ordering at the restaurant to pickup, it took about 15 minutes. We got the pulled pork bbq, cape maye burger, shrimp salad sandwich, chili dog, sweet potato fries, onion rings, chocolate malt, and a coffee and cream soft serve. Lets start with the sides. The onion rings were nice and crispy with a little grease, but it wasn't overwhelming. Definitely some of the better ones that I have had. I would suggest them over the sweet potato fries, which I would have preferred to be a little more crisp. They were a little too greasy for my liking. The chocolate malt was pretty good, but just a little to sweet for my liking. The coffee and cream soft serve had a flavor like I've never tasted before. It was very heavy on the cream with hints of coffee. The pulled pork bbq was very good and I would definitely order it again. I added onions to it and it was a great sandwich, not overly sweet and a good balance of flavor. The kaiser roll held up nicely to the amount of pork on the sandwich, which was almost a half inch. What was also great was that the meat didn't fall out of the sandwich when eating it. For being a bbq sandwich, it wasn't messy at all! The cape maye burger was enough for two people to eat with the burger patty, crab cake, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce. They aren't lying on the menu when they say for hungry people only. Everything just works together in the burger even though it seems like a lot going on. Once again, the kaiser roll holds up to all of the contents!

Slaw Dog with fries on top

Coming from out of town, I never eat anything that I can get in Ohio. I wanted hot dogs, so I headed to Beef N Buns Paradise. I ordered a Slaw Dog and asked them to put fries on top of the dog (in Ohio we call it a Polish Boy). It was so doggone good, thick hot dog. Both my friend and I said we will be back before we leave. Loved it. I highly recommend it

One of the few places you Can get soft serve in Frederick so it's a must for me in the summer also it has a very cool outdoor seating area to enjoy your food so I love bringing family from out out of town for a quick stop. I'd thought I'd give the food a try for a chance and was not disappointed everything came out quick and fresh. I ordered the Cape Maye and my girlfriend had the Shrimp Po Boy! Both fantastic and fairly priced. We got the combos... we were a tad disappointed with no free refills especially with how small our drinks were. If we would've known prior we would've ordered a bigger size.

    1/4 burger well done. Delicious.

There was only one employee working when we visited, but he handled everything with a great attitude. He was friendly, polite, and never seemed flustered despite staying busy. The ice cream itself was delicious, and the portions were generous. I got the butter pecan, while my daughter enjoyed the chocolate love and mint chocolate chip. Both were flavorful and hit the spot on a warm day. My only disappointment was that they didn't have a traditional cookies and cream flavor. The only option was a coffee Oreo version, which wasn't for me. Other than that, they had a nice variety of classic flavors, several cone options, and basic toppings. Overall, a great little local ice cream shop with friendly service and generous scoops. We'd definitely stop by again.

The shop is ran by a student who at the time was doing school and running the shop at the same time. Very awesome person who was super friendly. I don't live near Frederick so unfortunately I've only been to this place one time. That being said, I still think about this place. The Ice cream is super creamy, you can tell the fat content in this ice cream is super high. It's super rich, super dense and creamy, and sweet but not too sweet. I had the caramel crunch (they didn't have the key lime pie ) and it was delicious. The caramel I thought goes really well with the rich ice cream; it makes for a very decadent treat. The crunchy pieces adds a nice contrast to the super creamy ice cream. Overall it was amazing; it's everything I like in ice cream; something super rice and creamy, and flavors which come from real ingredients instead of extracts or flavorings.

I ordered the Biscoff Cookie Butter milkshake at Swirls Ice Cream Shop in Frederick, Maryland, and I am not being dramatic when I say it gave me goosebumps and made my toes curl. One sip and suddenly I understood joy on a spiritual level. It was creamy, rich, perfectly blended, and tasted like angels crushed up caramelized cookies and decided to bless humanity. I genuinely sat there questioning every life decision that had not previously involved Biscoff. But Swirls isn't just about incredible ice cream and milkshakes, the place has personality and it's cute. On many Saturdays they host fun events that make it feel like a community party instead of just an ice cream stop. One weekend they had Elsa and Olaf from Frozen hanging out with kids, another time they had a beekeeper featuring honey milkshakes because apparently these people wake up every day asking themselves, "How can we make life more magical?" Mission accomplished. Swirls is the kind of place that reminds you simple things can still absolutely delight you. Great people, creative flavors, fun events, and a Biscoff milkshake powerful enough to alter brain chemistry. 11/10. She kindly offered us samples of several flavors, which helped us narrow down our choices. I ended up going with a scoop of Piña Colada and something new to me called Candy Dream--a purple gelato that surprisingly tasted like strawberries. Super refreshing and different in a good way! I got mine in a waffle cone, but was a little bummed to find out it was the last one already--only an hour after opening. My husband had to go with a sugar cone, which was still tasty, just not his first choice. We originally came in hoping for chocolate, peanut butter, or salted caramel, but learned they rotate flavors daily--so what's on the menu board isn't always available. Just something to know ahead of time if you're craving something specific. Overall, great little spot with delicious gelato and warm, welcoming service. We'll definitely be back to try more flavors (and hopefully snag a waffle cone next time)!

There were numerous instances, including over the July 4th holiday, where she was scheduled to work, and was literally told not to come in just hours before her shift was to start. This happened over and over again, and is completely unacceptable. My daughter missed out on babysitting opportunities and a Fourth of July vacation because she was scheduled to work, only to have those hours canceled at the last minute. Who does that? When she was first hired, my daughter had no problem getting 15 to 20 hours per week. She let Miss Deb know she would be interested in getting at least that many hours per week once the summer started. Quite the opposite, she was only given 5 to 10 hours per week consistently with no explanation as to why. Miss Deb thought nothing of trash talking my daughter to the other employees. The other employees who got along well with my daughter, proceeded to let her know all of the terrible things Miss Deb said about her behind her back. My daughter continued to work there, as she was trying to save money for college. My daughter has had other jobs in the past as a lifeguard and a barista. Nothing compares to the poor treatment, lack of respect, and overall toxic environment that Deb promotes in her establishment. Truly, she should be starring in the sequel of the movie "Horrible Bosses." I understand this is a family business, created by her parents. She should be absolutely ashamed of herself for making this the legacy of "Sweet Babes Creamery." Disgraceful behavior from a grown women towards teenagers who are ready and willing to work.
