Poor customer service, literally waited on food ordered at kiosk for 20 minutes or longer for food while watching people leave cash register because no one came to take their order. Also area where orders are placed for door dashers, ANYONE has the ability to reach and grab your food. No person is accountable for the right person getting the food that is taken. I pretty much forget about this location. I've been so unimpressed (yes, even by fast food standards) the few times I've been here, that I just forget about it. It's not an option for me. (McDonald's shouldn't be an option for me anyway.) Slightly dated (which is OK for the nostalgia factor), always a long line in the drive-thru, a slowwwww drive thru, and they have messed up my order on several occasions. I went here for breakfast three days in a row and it was inconsistent with a simple breakfast sandwich, they always forgot something, and it looks like it was put together by a toddler. I gave it 1 star for the food. I took off 4 stars for the slowest service known to fast food. I understand prioritizing the drive-thru but it shouldn't take over 30 minutes for a fast food burger. This is an older McDonald's location where you have to go to the counter for drink refills because the drinks are all kept behind the counter. Children of the 90s will find it pseudo-retro, while millennials will find it infuriating. The few times I've had problems with my orders they were quickly corrected and the staff here tend to be friendlier than their ultra-stressed-out counterparts across town. They also have an extremely good lobby hostess during the day who's among the best I've seen anywhere (and I guarantee I've been in more McDonald's's's'ses than some district managers). read more

Small town fast food is always better and in Georgetown most of the brands are reasonably good. McDonalds on the other hand still struggles here. We are 3 times over a couple of days buying a new home and moving is a job. Wait times long service hit and miss food sometimes hot sometimes not! They embrace inclusion and diversity at their location and I am very impressed by the management and service at this location. It is always clean and fast service. There's only 3 reasons I ever go to McDonalds like ever: 1) breakfast (mainly the frappe) but the pancakes or a hashbrown are doable before going to the lake 2) a Diet Coke (I don't know their secret & no I shouldn't be drinking it but it's good) & 3) for a caramel or hot fudge sundae. Every time I eat McDonald's I always get a horrible stomach ache and all their food is greasy

My family and I stopped into this location on a Tuesday evening, after the dinner rush but not too late into the night. We decided to go in and eat because we enjoy the Chicken Clubhouse sandwich they are offering at the moment, but have found that they have difficulty giving us the burger instead of chicken when we use the drive thru. As we walked through the door a couple leaving joked, "I hope you're not in a hurry." I looked around the dinning area and was disgusted. The place was trashed, so instead of eating in, we will be taking it to go for sure. We continued to the counter and found a group of three ordering, one more person and then us. the group of three ordered and left, uneventful. The older man in front of me seems to have been in earlier, but was missing two orders of chicken nuggets. The manager seemed to take him to the side, looked up his order and then had nuggets dropped for him. Meanwhile, I am placing our order on another register. The girl taking my order had no clue what the special sandwich was and seemed to have difficulty putting it in. So now we are waiting. I am looking around and notice the pool of brown, milky fluid behind the counter by the soft serve machine. I am noticing the trash everywhere. I think maybe they are shorthanded but no, there are several people running around, some seeming to work really hard to keep the drive thru running. There's a call, apparently for the manager, and one of the ladies when asked where the manager is, a lady in a purplish shirt, indicates annoyingly that she's outside again. I look to my side, out the window and see her hanging in the window of a parked car. Its at this time that I noticed the older man, picking up nuggets is still waiting annoyed. He indicated that he picked up an order for his family, made it home, and then came back for these nuggets. He should of had his items right away, if not also refunded, but the manager is off playing with her boyfriend in the parking lot. She finally drags herself back in, with a box from Pizza Hut. It takes a moment but she finally gets back on getting the other customer his nuggets. Meanwhile, before she made her way in I was given a bag with my three medium fries. They sat on the counter, getting cold while I waited for my sandwiches. I am finally given a second bag, so I look inside to make sure I was given the chicken sandwiches, not the burger. I find that I have one of them the Chicken Clubhouse, the other is wrong a burger, and I am missing the third, smaller chicken sandwich. I tell the cashier and a second girl kind of argues with me and ask the cashier if she rang it in wrong, and then went and got the manager. The manager comes to speak to me, I explain to her I am missing a sandwich, and one of them is wrong. I then explain to her that I was given fries a while ago, and they feel cold. I ask for new ones, that are hot. The manager started arguing with me about the color, saying they are slightly brown due to the oil (meaning the oil is old and dirty). We explain, the color isn't the issue, the fact we didn't want cold food. I am finally given new fries, the two missing sandwiches, and we head home after that nightmare to daringly eat the food we received, vowing to never return to this location again. read more

Just left there. We waited over a half hour in the pull up spot in the drive thru waiting for 3 orders of fries and a 10 piece chicken mcnugget. My son went in with the receipt and they did not help him. After a half hour, I went in irate and suddenly there was our order!! Then, another worker wants to give us a different order as well. We said no. She said it was from other people who had driven left before their food was ready!! So there's more folks out there who paid and couldn't wait around long enough to get their food! We are right next door to this location but it is so HORRIBLE, I'll not spend another dime there. I guess I should've read the reviews before I walked in this McDonald's. The place was empty this early in the morning the drive-through was operational I decided to come inside. Placed my order and then discovered none of the soft drink machines worked. Ice tea and orange juice is all they had. The cashier advised that they were working on them Wednesday when she left work and they're still not working today it is Saturday. Ordered biscuit and gravy and a cheese egg sausage Mc griddle. The biscuit inside was as dry as any biscuit I've ever eaten thank goodness there was gravy on it to give it some taste. The Mc griddle look like it was thrown together by a child. The cheese looked old and was barely melted it looked as if it had been sitting completely prepared and was drying out. Part of the sandwich was hanging outside the wrapper and almost torn in half. As I said in the beginning I regret coming in I will not be back this is the worst McDonald's I've ever been in and I've been in several bad McDonald's. All I can say is the inside was clean empty however the building appeared to be relatively new. Get it together McDonald's it can't be that difficult!!!!! read more

The absolute worst McDonald's I've ever been to in Kentucky. Whether you go in and order or go through the drive through, you need lots of extra time. They are consistently slow and 9 times out of 10, the order is incorrect. Tonight, the fries were rock hard. Not sure how they even manage that, other than they've been sitting for hours. The food here is reasonably good. I use both the drive through and the counter regularly. The employees (mostly young kids) have a bad reputation of NEVER saying "thank you" to the customers, even after I say "thank you." (You'd think that would remind them.) The most you might get is "Have a good day," as they give you your change. I know this is minor, but it takes no effort on the employees' part and makes me feel like they really don't care whether they have repeat business. read more
