Catfish Plate, and fried green tomatoes

Stopped by for lunch and got the catfish with fries and okra also ordered a side of fried green tomatoes, all of it cooked to perfection and okra was prepared well not slimy, everything was fried crispy. Coffee is amazing as well not burned or watered down great experience. Great family friendly sit down diner.

Excellent Rueben and maybe the best cole slaw I've ever had! So delicious. Nice, cozy atmosphere in there, too. I was too full to try their pie, and it was too hot for me to get one to-go, but it looked amazing! No major complaints, but when we arrived, someone just yelled from kinda far back for us to seat ourselves and then the available tables didn't look like they'd been cleaned.

Visited again in 2025 and sat down this time. Service was quick and friendly and food was good! It was very busy, but it was a Sunday afternoon.

Delicious food, friendly staff, free ice cream for kids. What more can you ask for? Loved my country fried steak. Husband's fried catfish was delicious. Hush puppies were just what I wanted.

Stopped in this restaurant for lunch today. It was okay but nothing great and disappointed in the service. Order 3 cheeseburgers and only 2 had cheese on them. Asked for condiments and the waitress assured they were added but NO! Milkshake was okay but again nothing to go here for. It was expensive and bad service. It looks good but I won't go out of may way to return.

This place is a fave and a classic.

Always love coming to Favas! It's a great hometown place and we've always bed. Warmly greeted and very nicely taken care of! Today was no exception! We stopped in for an early brekkie and Emily too excellent care of us. The coffee was always there, fresh, and hot. Zoey got the fried egg sandwich with sausage and hash browns (her fave potato type) and the egg was perfect cooked and served on a toasted croissant. You know how when you get the egg and it's hot just a little if that goo left? That's how this was done. It looked amazing and Zoey seemed thrilled. I got the breakfast burrito and it can with all kinds of goodness inside. Veggies, egg and cheese along with BOTH sausage and bacon! Whoa! And the tortilla was golden crisp. Served with home fries, it was perfect. Just love coming here. Thanks to Emily and the whole team for another great experience!

What a wonderful, small diner in the charming town of Georgetown! Delicious food, wonderful hospitality, super friendly staff, and owner, what a great time we had... And the pie was amazing! What a gem! Will be back!

Parked directly in front and walk right in on a Saturday around 130pm. Started with a bowl of fried banana peppers. They were crispy and hot. Got a lunch sized hot brown. Came out with plenty of cheese sauce and a good seeing of ham and turkey on Texas toast. Ended the meal with a slice of butterscotch pie which was awesome

Fava's definitely exudes hometown diner. From the historic building to the displays of the local high school banner. We had lunch there and the service was phenomenal for how busy it was. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food is definitely Americana and very good. The grilled tuna melt was delicious.

    Fried Pickles

What an amazing little diner, the best fried pickles I've ever had in that ranch. I could drink by the gallon, so well balanced and just taste of depth the fried pickles and fried green tomatoes were fried lightly. They weren't stopping in grease and they had just enough flavor just send them over the top. The sink was a little under season to say the least there was hardly any flavor on it but the hashbrowns southern potatoes in French toast and eggs were all cooked to perfection. I think they need to use a thicker French toast just to add a little more depth to their dishes. The gravy is outstanding. It had good flavor very wholesome vibes seating with a little crunch, but it goes with the vibes. Our waitress was really busy so I'm not gonna complain about the lack of service cause it was slammed and Wright police slow, but our waitress were still very nice and got our order in as soon as she could we would love to come back here

The charm of old tables with mismatched chairs, even a bench made from an old bed headboard. The staff is great. Quick to answer questions and offer suggestions. The bar is huge. My breakfast bowl was absolutely perfect! Potatoes roasted to perfection with awesome hot sausage with eggs cooked to order and covered in the best sausage gravy that I have ever had! Arrived for my reservation, at lunch, and was seated immediately ( that is a plus - everything was looking good ). Waitress came to get drink order, only to realize she had failed to give us drink menu.Once that was resolved, drinks ordered and corn bread starter ordered. Cornbread delivered, drinks arrive. waitress was slow, kept saying she was new, she was tired, etc... Having been in the service industry, I understand, but not my problem. Here is when the meal went south... when we go to order, we are told no chicken, no steak. Only real options are the chicken and dumplings, sloppy joe, hamburger, meatloaf, ham or fish. Any other beef dish, or chicken dish is not available ( think half the menu ). Had we of known, before the drinks and cornbread, we might have left, as we had driven an hour for brisket and fried chicken. It was extremely disappointing. I went with the chicken and dumplings, as I don't eat fish, or beef, and can't eat pork products. I ordered a side of mashed potatoes and was told the chicken and dumplings came on a bed of mash - nope, apparently it does not. Expecting mash, I ordered carrots... guess what the chicken and dumplings come with carrots! So I got a bunch of carrots, no mash. The others in my party ordered the sloppy joes and both said they were okay, but not what they drove an hour to eat. In my opinion a restaurant, that is closed on Monday, should not be out of half of their menu items on Tuesday. I'd there are delivery issues, they had all day Monday to come up with alternate items, source other foods, etc.. Our waitress rarely came around, never offered refills, or asked how our meals were. At the end, she messed up our tickets so many times, that we finally just paid. I am no longer in a hurry to go to Local Feed and it will not be a place I drive an hour, to eat. To say it has gone downhill, is an understatement. PS - we spent roughly $175 (3 women, with drinks)

We ate it with garden salsa sun chips. I wish they'd had a larger size of the dip!! So good. We went in for breakfast this past Friday AM morning around 9:00a. There were a handful of people in the bakery but we were able to walk right up to the counter and order what we wanted. So many coffee options! We opted for a cherry danish, lemon poppyseed muffin, sausage roll, cinnamon cold brew and a mocha cold brew. The danish and sausage roll were very yummy! The bakery itself was very cute with it's colorful paintings and decor all around. The only I guess downside doesn't even have to do with the bakery itself. But we were there in the morning to enjoy coffee and bakery items and there was a child screaming the entire time. (I say this and I have an 8 year old myself). I wish it had been a little bit quieter but that doesn't have to do with the bakery itself. There are tables for in-store dining and tasty treats everywhere. Cookies, pies, croissants, refrigerated salads and sweets, candied nuts and even Rice Krispie treats. These are just some of the items available. I've never been to a bakery with that many different offerings. Everything looked amazing and everyone in line lets us know that everything is delicious!!! Honestly I wanted a bit of everything, but I had to have some self control. In the end I walked away with muffins, bars, a Bundt cake, a cake pop and tiramisu (this was all shared with another person). Just like the other patrons said, I quickly learned that everything was in fact delicious! It was fresh and so, so good!!! The staff was very kind and I think that Rebecca herself came out and chatted with us briefly. This was my first visit, but definitely won't be my last. Absolutely worth the drive from Lexington.
