Where is the management in this place? Seems as if it's run by a bunch of teenagers. People running behind the counter without their shirts tucked in and one guy standing at the drive thru window reaching his hand up his shirt. Disgusting... The dinner shift is terrible. They act as if the customer is an inconvenience in the drive thru. Don't even pay attention to what you are ordering. Most of the time your orders are messed up, they forget sauces, straws, napkins. Very shameful. Almost seems like the the place is overrun with a bunch of drop outs that have issues getting up tying their own shoes in the morning. Food is terrible, cold most of the time and very often wrong if it's special order. Fries are barely half full. Burgers have soggy lettuce. Don't ask for a smile in this place.. They messed my order twice after I just went through the drive through, I ordered a Smoky BLT QPC with no white sauce or cheese, when I drove away to park, to check my sandwiches and they put white sauce on my husbands sandwich even though I said no white sauce or cheese so I had to go back in and get it fixed because my husbands is highly allergic to cheese and mayonnaise and ranch. Then I had ordered a double quarter pounder sandwich with bacon and when I went to check my sandwich they gave me a plan patty with burnt bread no sauce or anything even though I asked for a double quarter pounder with bacon, the drive through person did not take my order correctly so I had to go into McDonald's twice even though I shouldn't have to do that as a customer!!! I am very disappointed in there drive through service, but when I went in to complain about my order being wrong, they went and fixed both of my sandwich's correctly and then the manager came out and started yelling at her employees, telling them they need to stop goofing around and read the screens correctly, so Amen to that manager. So, I will say the majority of the time one thing gets messed up. I will also say, no way in heck you can justify $15 an hour with constant mistakes. So, my order today was egg McMuffin meal, 2 extra egg McMuffins, 3 pancakes And 3 pancakes. 1. Was short an egg McMuffin. I informed them and waited for and was ultimately give a third (or I so thought). 2. Wrapped as a McMuffin was a Sausage egg McMuffin. I trusted the wrapping so I was already home at this point. 3. One set of hot cakes was warm. The other set was as if it was taken out of the freezer. In the spirit of constructive criticism, the owner and management must reassess their service standards; I trust you take my comments seriously. Your lack of customer service is an embarrassment to your store and the local community you serve. When ordering at the counter it takes so long get waited on. For a fast food chain restaurant, I can't believe you have not or can not improve this one aspect of your store. Very often you wait a very long time for someone to show up at the register so you can order your food and/or drink. The decaf coffee is consistently not hot or warm and borders on cold/undrinkable. When you have to return to the counter to ask for additional assistance, the staff does not acknowledge that you are standing there waiting for assistance. Overall a pathetic approach and practice for a fast food chain establishment and customer care. Please address these matters with your staff and start taking these concerns seriously. On a Wednesday night at 6:45 (not exactly rush hour) it was so slow there were 10 people waiting for their food in the restuarant and a line of cars that never went down. I am writing this as I sit in this disgusting McD's. We ordered 4 value meals. All the fries were cold. I asked the manager for replacements. My granddaughter's quarter pounder was undercooked. We again asked the manager for a replacement. He was very rude to the children. He acted like it was their fault that the burger was undercooked. Gilbertsville location totally sucked on Sept. 3rd 2022 first they gave me my sundae with the lid not secured so caramel went all over a person and the interior of the vehicle. 2nd besides the 15 min. For them to break a $100 bill for a order of $22 they gave us a burger that was still bleeding basically VERY RED still . we had to wait another 15 min. I have lived in Gilbertsville for over 20 years, and take it from me, ANY PLACE is better than this McDonald's on East Philadelphia Avenue. I have been served hamburgers that have not been thoroughly cooked and are still red inside. They also have difficulty getting the order right over half of the time. The fries are limp and mushy. When I complain, they are very non-chalant about it, and nothing ever improves. I only wish I could have given this place a half star rating. In fact they don't even deserve that. read more

Visited this restaurant 5/18/2018. Placed order. Ended up waiting over 10 minutes for the food. I saw when the burgers were done, but no attempt to get them . I mentioned to the counter guy they were done. He retrieved them, but forgot the fries. Saw a minimum of 5 employees standing talking, but no attempt to work. One employee was standing at the counter talking to her boyfriend. This is a very poor run McDonalds. Evidently the owners don't care about their customers. I am not kidding when I say that there is an issue EVERY OTHER time I come to this McDonalds. Whether I'm given the wrong order entirely, sandwich made wrong, the milkshake machine is down (in the middle of dinner time!), fries are cold, or what have you, there is ALWAYS a reason to be let down. Last week my wife got a milkshake for my 5 year old daughter, only to notice it was liquid (like milk). Wife tasted it, said it tasted sour. I called to tell them something was wrong with their milkshake machine, only for the manager to argue with me and tell me "the shake machine is fine". Later on, she called me back to tell me that "a new employee had turned the machine off". So, if possible, avoid this location. read more
