Horrible service with this McDonald's at the time of our order manager named Ana and her staff, don't know how to follow instructions or don't know how to read, our order were missing a single order of fries, plus our combo fries were missing as well, our 2 orders of double cheese burgers had only one patty, they also failed to call to let us know they did not have a strawberry pie, and assumed to send us an extra apple pie, when calling Ana the manager all she had to say was I'm so so sorry, how hard is it to follow through an order, hardly ever order from McDonald's to get screwed by it, just notice they only have 2 stars no wonder!!! read more

I was so upset today when I saw what I did. I was going into McDonald's just to get a cup of coffee. On my way in I noticed that somebody was on the floor right in front of the door just 2 feet from the door, a woman sitting on the ground. As I went to open the door, she started coughing like crazy with her mouth open and not covering it at all. She didn't have a mask on and by the looks of her, she looked homeless. Normally this wouldn't bother me and I know I have bought food for the homeless before when they are were sitting around. But today it especially bothered me because of the COVID-19. I had my mask on, I'm following the rules and yet the governor hasn't found a way to enforce the same rules for the homeless who are real sickly. It's not fair to them and it's not fair to me. I don't have anything bad to say about the homeless, the only thing I can say is I don't want to die for them. They are not my problem to solve or I would solve it! They are the governor's problem and the mayor's problem. I don't know how they expect McDonald's to monitor the people right outside their door. This has ruined my visit to McDonald's and I probably won't come here for quite a while now. I just hope her coughing didn't go on me and isn't going inside the store. According to what they're telling us about how serious COVID-19 it is and how it goes through the air it could have been in that store hurting the poor employees in there putting them at risk. I told the employee and walked out the other door. I feel sorry for them. I don't know what but something has to be done about this. The homeless encampment it's only a few blocks away from this McDonald's. Maybe the leaders of California can go by and give facemasks to the homeless every few days, and clean up their trash. The food is okay only because it's just like any other fast food. My problem is how DIRTY the indoor playground area is. The floors are sticky and filthy, overflow trash bins, and trash from their customers are still on some of the tables. If they had one person assign to check every 15 minutes that would help 150%. A great place to beat the heat on a hotter than average day. With the kiddos, or even just one in tow, I managed to share a kids' meal with my girl and treat myself to a delicious Chobani-laced smoothie. Cashiers are friendly and at a not too crowded time, service was prompt. I overheard snippets of Tagalog and Armenian today, as it's located in Glendale. I've been here in the past, but tonight's encounter was less than acceptable. I came to drive-thru A little before 3:00 a.m. Upon approaching the speaker I was greeted with a impolite slightly annoyed "Hello". With nothing else being said in regards to how I may be helped I replied "Hello" back. This time I was Answered with "What can I get you" in the same unprofessional tone. After completing my order I pulled up to the same window to pay and receive my order. After paying I was given my drink and told to "Have a good night". No food was given to me whatsoever. When I did not begin to leave due to lack of items I was Then told "Thank you" In a rude tone and attempt to hurry me out of the drive-through. I simply replied saying I had not received my food yet. The employee insisted that my food was given to me with my drink, looking at me with the most annoyed face. I again replied that my food was not given to me. The employee continued to look at me with disgust and asked another employee where the food was. They both looked at each other. As if they had no clue the food was right there in front of them near the window. After waiting for them to get themselves together I finally gestured towards the window and said "I believe my food is right there". The employee looked at it as if it wasn't right under his nose. Grabbed it shoved it through the window Without a word and expected me to drive off Complacent with my service. I kindly replied "Thank you". And was just stared at with more annoyance. Not a single apology for my service or any of their actions during my presence at the window. I left without a word said to me. This is one of the worst experiences I've had at this location and It is an unfortunate event. I really hope they try to work on their customer service for these employees at this time of night. read more

Is it really that hard to put together a snack wrap? Is there something I'm missing as to the process it takes to wrap chicken, lettuce, cheese and some sauce in a tortilla? There must be because mine wasn't folded all the way. Cheese and lettuces were bursting out of the top, the middle had a glob of ranch and the the bottom was dry chicken. I don't expect much from this McD's whenever we come here but they constantly surprise me with their screw ups. P.s. No pickle means NO pickle! I was not happy with this store today. I ordered a sausage mcmuffin with egg combo with a request to change the coffee with juice. My son noticed that the screen displayed a 2-sausage Mcmuffin combo instead of the order I placed, distinctly, a (singular) sausage mcm combo. And the woman who took the order asked, "Oh, so you don't want the 2-sausage combo?" To which I answered, "That's not what ordered!" She proceded to correct that and asked if I wanted a M or L OJ. I said Med. thinking that that was the replacement of the coffee as I stated earlier in my order. I got the bill and it was $8+. I thought it was pricey for breakfast and checked the receipt. I was charged for the OJ. So, I questioned the charges and I was asked to pull over to a parking space while one of the workers called the manager who was probably the woman who took my order. So I asked why was the small OJ omitted from the choices if there was an upcharge anyway for it. She went on with an excuse about that store being owned vs franchised and that their pricing is different. She also mentioned that the price of the sausage mcmuffin combo with OJ was on the menu screen which I didn't see. Whatever it is, don't put one over your customers by putting in a different order than what your customer gave you, and don't offer the more expensive choices for the drinks if there is a less expensive alternative. It looks deceptive, dishonest, and as may know, a bad business practice unless it was an honest mistake. One time maybe but not in 2 occurrences for one visit! There are other MCDs in the area. I don't normally write review but this is an exception. I just ate at this McDonald's and the cashier had a annoyed look when she took our order, the soda machine as usual had only one machine that had ice and to top it off. Their sweet tea was one day expired and it wasn't even sweet tea it was coffee! They don't have a ketchup dispenser and when you ask for ketchup they give you 3 pieces and when you ask for more they seem annoyed. They may have remodeled the inside of this McDonald's but they need a lot of help remodeling the inside workings of thier back of the house. read more

I rarely stop at this McDonald's late at night, but I had just gotten off work and wanted something to eat. Drive through was so SLOW! I placed my order around 1am, and didn't get to the window until 1:26am... what?! The cashier for drive through (she was a manger) was quite rude to me, even though all she did was take my card. When I got my food and said "Thank You" she rolled her eyes at me. Really?! I'm sorry that my being cordial annoyed her.... As for the food... the fries were cold, but the Chicken McBites were perfect (hence my 1 star review, lol). She didn't ask if I wanted ketchup. I didn't get a straw for my drink or any napkins. Also, the sprite I order didn't have any syrup in it, so it was basically seltzer water (ugh!) So if you HAVE to stop at this McDonald's, don't do it during their late night hours. I come to this McDonalds every morning with the same order, a large iced mocha. I always order it on the app and either pick up in store or through the drive thru. Its usually quick and easy I just give them the 4 digit code and get my large iced mocha. Today I went through the drive thru, gave the attendant my code, drive to the second window and they hand me a huge breakfast meal with 2 drinks and I told them I did not order this. They showed me the receipt with my name on it but the code was different but it was my name with all kinds of shit I did not order. It's was a huge breakfast meal with 3 sandwiches, 3 hash browns, pancakes and eggs and 2 drinks, a mocha frappe and iced vanilla latte. I repeatedly said I only ordered a large iced mocha but they kept telling me that's my name on the receipt and that is what I ordered. Instead of blowing up on them I just took the crap I did not order and left. I check my credit card later and see I was charged $28.80 (they used the credit card I have stored on the App) for all this shit I didn't even order and I'm pretty pissed off about it because all I wanted was one drink and end up getting charged $28.80 for shit I can't even eat. Please next time if a customer repeatedly tells you they didn't order something please listen to them and don't charge them for shit they did not order. This McDonald's has a 100% FAILURE rate at getting my order correct. I've never been here and walked away with a correct order, and the employees don't seem to care. If you bring it to their attention that your order was incorrect they shrug it off like they don't care, or they try to say that the order is correct and you are wrong. And never bother customizing your order here or asking for a special request. If you have food allergies definitely don't come here. They will always ignore your request or try to fulfill it but get it wrong anyway. I've never been to a more dysfunctional McDonald's. read more

So I decide to ask for a refill as I was about to leave and the manager (Asian/Filipina)? asked me how many refills I've had. That would be OK but if they had been paying the slightest attention they would have seen that I was NOT there for coffee but for the WiFi and just had ONE refill while there! When it comes to food, anything you get from McDonald's is pretty much the same as any other location. However, this specific location has issues. I can't tell you how many times I've been there where something was missed from my order plus it's a hit-or-miss when it comes to getting decent customer service. I only continue to frequent that place because of my kids and it's near my house. There have been times I've wanted to file a complaint because the service problems there but it seemed difficult to do it on their website and just gave up. There is an experience I do want to share which kinda started off like a RUDE awakening.. (literally) but later,I became a bit sympathetic and just accepted it. In the mornings, I sometimes stop by this location to get breakfast for the kids then drop them off for school. Well, there's this older lady at the drive-thru who obviously is probably armenian with a very thick accent but when she takes orders she always "barks" (not literally) when she communicates... it a very dominate, direct, and commanding way. It's a little hard to explain without experiencing it yourself. But I can always tell who it is when I see people's reaction in the drive-thru ahead of me. It's kinda comical. If anyone has seen the Seinfeld episode of the Soup guy yelling "No soup for you"... well, this experience can definitely be a legitimate case for a similar episode. I've gotten used to it and I know she means well when she deals with people. It's been a long while since I've made a stop there in the AM but sometime soon, I'll make a run there and see if she's still there.... haha. My tip? Always double check your order when you receive it and if you can avoid drive-thru so you don't get screwed on your order. Do it. read more

I frequented this location for two reasons and two reasons only: it's two minutes from my office and I loved that the interior still had old-school charm, with uniquely tiled floors, Mac the Night gracing the "Beverage Center" (which was designated as such by a neon sign), and tables with fun vintage logos on them. I noticed they had been remodeling the exterior but I hoped they would leave the amazing interior intact, but I stopped in today and was majorly disappointed to see that they're gutting the whole place to make it look like every other boring cookie cutter location. Even though I always got frustratingly slow and inept service, the simple enjoyment I got from sitting in there made up for it.
