I have gone here three separate times before and every single time I've waited 20+ minutes for my order. No progression was made towards my order until I confronted an employee, asking where my order was. Keep in mind, one of these orders was a simple vanilla cone. I could've easily gone in the back, started roleplaying as one of these workers and made my vanilla cone in less than 20 seconds, I guarantee you. Why is a whole Big Mac combo meal, ordered 10 minutes after mines, able to come out and be made sooner than it takes to fulfill my order of a vanilla cone. I actually had to work here on installing, but the food is always good no matter what McDonald's you visit, they have a system and to watch these employees work is amazing. They do need a bigger employee rest area if they have to break in the back. Another place I frequent when in SB area.....and about time I comment. Happy that my order looks like the picture , tastes as expected. Thats joy in it self. Then clean spot to munch.... What I find nice is that both the English and Spanish used here are inclusive. What do I mean? Some of the Spanish speaking staff switched their conversation to English in such a way that it felt like care and consideration for me rather than because they had to or because of any other reason. I appreciate the kind courtesy. Not necessary but a nice touch. I doubt they could always switch back and forth when busy but very appreciated as the day had a rough start. We were greeted by a friendly cashier and placed our order quickly. Two sundaes. The result: the amount of one sundae split into two cups? Clearly dissatisfied and confused, we asked a man, which I'm assuming is the manager on duty, if there was a different size or something, holding up our half-empty cups. I don't think Ray Kroc would be impressed with the antiquated delivery system of high carb, high sugar, non nutritious food. Now it's time to find a parking space. The over crowded parking lot begs you to drive across the street to Jack n the Box and finding a space anywhere near can be a challenge on the weekends. Once inside it's bight, airy packed with sports crap. I don't normally think of athleticism then the Golden Arches are at play. Up to the front the line moves quickly and then, DING. Fries are done. This must be one of the fastest location. It begs to wonder if the food was intended for me or another customer who's still parking. Maybe it's a new study on mind control. Ended up coming to this location because the mcdonalds off Fairview had ice cream machine maintenance. I come in with a friend to order mcflurries. Our order went through and as an employee named Bernie was beginning to make a mcflurry, the cashier named Jonathan said, "don't make it. There's a mcflurry in the fridge, just give her that one." Bernie said, "no, it's okay, that one is melted already." Um...i was not about to accept an hour old, melted, error mcflurry when I paid for one to be made! Things like this you do NOT say in front of customer. At all. You do not give customers mistake frozen dairy treats...especially when they have been refrigerated. Also, write off the mcflurry, keep the cup for inventory and let a manager know. Don't serve it if it was messed up. I got my mcflurry, ate it and was happy. Other than the tables needing to be wiped down, customer service was good, food was good. But the fact that I was going to be given a REFRIGERATED MCFLURRY...really dampened my experience, I just do not want this to happen to another customer because they deserve to get what they pay for. read more

This McDonald's by far is now my favorite! On our way to Lake Cachuma, pulling a trailer, we were looking for a place to eat and park. This location shares a parking lot with a Home Depot so tons of parking. However, the best part was how in tune they are with the local community. They have pictures and articles of local high school sports including individual players. This location knows the true meaning of community spirit. It is also extremely open and the staff were very friendly. read more

I don't think you can go wrong with McD's. I come here a lot to order chicken nuggets or iced coffee to go and they've always been quick and precise. The service is way better than that of other McD's I've been (ex. the one on University Ave in Riverside = epic fail). The women working here are friendly and not snappy, too.
