As a New Yorker, the excitement of finally going to In-N-Out was unmatched. We got the burgers, we got the fries, we even got a puppy patty. The full California experience! But honestly, I'm writing this review for the STAFF. What a genuinely wonderful group of people! Everyone was so kind, friendly and patient. I clearly did not know exactly what I was doing and no one made me feel silly for asking questions or taking a minute to figure out what I wanted. I had a few modifications too and there were no eye rolls, no attitude, just incredibly nice people happy to help. The food was good, but the people are what made the experience for me. The long car line went pretty fast, so I had pretty high expectations, but it really wasn't very good. The service was fine, but the burgers were bland and somehow seemed...stale. The fries were lifeless. I guess the draw is the price, but I will not be going back. Nothing much to say about In N Out. The food speaks for itself. The customer service is the best. The quality ingredients and smiles on customers' faces make it a delight. First time at this location. Waited in the extremely long drive thru lane. Someone took my order when there were at least 10 cars ahead in line (probably more). Well, my food was obviously prepared too soon. It was lukewarm and the wrap on the burger was soaking wet. The bun was burnt on the edges and soggy in the center. The burger patties were dry. The side of fries looked strange (for one the serving size was less than normal) and tasted like freezer burned cardboard fries. Or perhaps previously fried old fires that were reheated! There was something wrong with them. Not edible. I threw out the fries, the bun the mealy slice of tomato. And the root beer soda was flat. I do not plan to return to this location based on the inferior quality of food prep. Other locations are much better! I suppose that this place is mainly busy because you can eat a meal for 10 dollars rather than the average of 20 dollars for a meal in the area for lunch. Long wait for mediocre food. read more

I go to In-N-Out Burger because it's hot fresh and CONSISTENT- but that has not been the case for at least the last 3 times I have been. I wait in the huge long line that always exists because of it's consistency! But if it is not consistent why should I wait? The last three times the French Fries have been droopy whimpy and not fried long enough! Lots of dark spots as well. I always ask for extra toast and it is usually good- the last time it was burnt and I couldn't even bite through it- this time the bun was crumbling and falling apart in my hands and the food was cold. Due to the popularity of this In N Out, all but one entrance/exit is blocked off. This is to help with the drive thru. You must turn in right after the Shell gas station or you'll have to U turn in the residential neighborhood. The drive thru takes me on average 20 minutes from start to finish. Waiting inside is just as long. That being said, the staff are always friendly and the food is always fresh and delicious. I just hate that drive thru line and chaos that ensues around lunchtime. read more

Service is always top notch. Went with a Double-Double with whole grilled and raw onions. I also added mustard and extra cheese to the burger. Wow, such a juicy and flavorful burger. My favorite way to order a double double. My girlfriend got a #2 animal style and our total price for lunch was $15.17. You literally can't beat that price anywhere. There is really no reason to review any In-n-Out burger but at the same time, there is every reason to do so! First of all, what else can you say about an establishment that has already established itself to the max, and that everyone will almost know everything there is to know about the food and the menu. They are pretty consistent throughout their locations so I think places like this, the reviews will mostly on the service and if there is anything strange or random going on at any particular location. This one for me, I can point out that they have plenty of indoor seatings as well as outdoor. They have the two palm trees cross each other as a usual landmark, and there is only one good entrance to the plaza/parking lot. The parking is also a bit weird but, that seems to be the norm at any In-n-Out. The lines can be long but they move pretty quickly. Service was fast and pleasant. Restrooms were clean. I stop here every time I'm or sometimes my wife and I are in the Montecito/Santa Barbara area which is usually once a year and the food here is fantastic(not so much ours in Keizer, Oregon where somehow I've had cold/frozen fries twice....how is that possible when they make them fresh?)Anyway, hamburger, fries and strawberry shake were fantastic...(.my partner/ride from airport)and she enjoyed a similar meal and enjoyed them immensely(she's local).
