I'll start out with "no refills". What is this getto mac? Do you charge less for your drinks since you don't have refills? Bacon egg and cheese biscuits were good. Service was fast. All the doors are filthy and haven't been cleaned in a while. It's the only McDonald's around so they don't care and have no reason to improve. Terrible service. Went through drive through 8/3/25 about 9am. Ordered an egg mcmuffin and a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. Nothing out of ordinary. Sent us out to the park over there spot. 20 minutes later, still didn't have our food. Went inside, what a joke. Stood at counter for another 5 minutes. Every worker walked by and never even acknowledged me. I flagged one down finally, and told them I wanted my money back. This is the second time in 4 months this same thing happened. Terrible meal. I expected to wait, it was very busy. The fries were cold and not salted. The filet o' fish was good, but the McCrispy tender, juicy chicken sandwich was neither tender nor juicy. There was no lettuce, no tomato, NO condiment, just two dill pickle slices. It was nothing like the picture, and thin and dry. The marketing was good, but the sandwich was NOT. What could improve? I visited this location on 6/15/24 at 8:48am. The young man took my order and I paid at that time. I figured I would be out of there in 5 mins. I was wrong. One half hour later,still no food. I gave my receipt to a gentleman waiting for his order. I left. It would have been helpful,if at the time I placed my order,the associate should have told me there would have been a lengthy wait. Grayling gets jumping on busy days during tourist season, and it shows here. Lines at the counter and drive through get long around mealtimes (and sometimes well before and after), and service is what you'd expect as a result. Since I've had wait times much longer than expected at McDonalds that weren't nearly as busy, I'll cut this location some slack. Tending to those crowds sometimes means that litter sometimes accumulates in the dining area. The food is up to par for the chain, and the coffee is usually fresh. When it wasn't, the counterperson has made me a fresh pot. If you're just passing through on 75, this isn't a good pit stop since it requires a long detour off the highway through Grayling's "business loop," but if Grayling is your destination and you're a Golden Arches fan, you should be satisfied here, if you're patient. read more

I ordered a fish sandwich asking for salt and ketchup, which I thought I'd get on the side for my fries. But the girl took it to mean that I wanted ketchup on the sandwich, so I had no salt or ketchup for my fries. And the Spicy DELUXE McCrispy sandwich that I ordered was not a deluxe. Every time I order a caramel mocha with extra milk I get the run around. They make one with no whipped cream, no Carmel drizzle. I called this morning at 9:32 am. Another 20 minutes passed and be still hadn't received his order! He got a refund and then we continued on to Gaylord where he only had to wait 7 minutes for his order. Won't be stopping at this location again anytime soon. read more

I know most people are not surprised to see the one star rating at a McDonald's restaurant but my review will hopefully shed some light on why this was necessary. Driving north on I-75 and decided to get a treat and a drink. I pulled up to the drive-thru and ordered a .49 ice cream cone. Not a hard order but I knew I was in trouble when I pulled ahead and there were 13 other cars waiting in line. Needless to say I waited thinking it wouldn't be that bad. Unfortunately it was worse! I watched as two employees walked out of the restaurant and got in their cars and left. After TEN MINUTES I was able to finally pull up to the drive-thru window and was handed a cone that was sagging and melted. I asked for the manager and Cheryl came to the window and didn't even greet me but said, "Yeah, I know it's melted but we can't keep up with demand". I asked what took so long to move the drive thru customers through the line and she said that they were short handed. I asked why she would have two employees punch out and leave while she admitted she could not keep up. This is poor management and this restaurant is a fine example of why so many people have given up on this chain. It could be so much better with proper planning and management. This place has to be the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Had to wait 55 minutes for 2 burgers just lettuce ketchup and cheese because they messed it up 3 times prior. The third time came out right, but had a nice long black hair coming out the side of the burger. Not to mention our lemonades were barely filled halfway and they completely missed the double cheeseburger in the meal. Workers came out handed the food and dipped back off trying to avoid what we were saying. Whoever's working in the kitchen right now deserves to be fired. Would not recommend this McDonald's. They tried to run 2 different credit cards for us and said they were both declined. Nothing wrong with cards. They worked fine after and cc company never got a hit from them. They got order wrong when they handed us drinks and argued with us where we mentioned it, even though it had it written correctly on ticket. Coffee was also old and stale. read more

We sat at the ordering box and waited for 15 minutes while three other cars were served before us and then had to talk into the intercom to get their attention. The service was so ridiculous. Waited at the speaker in the drive thru for around ten whole minutes before a man finally came on and said "we'll be with you in a bit," and that there were only "two staff taking orders right now" (seems like plenty enough to me!) When we pulled up we were the only ones in the drive thru at first, but after five minutes of our insanely ridiculous waiting, another car pulled up to the other speaker and got his order taken right away. Great job prioritizing customers. We had ordered a large drink with our meal, but the lady who handed us our food gave us a medium drink. We corrected her and told her it was large and she said "well, you said medium." In her defense, it said a medium drink on our receipt, but we clearly recalled asking for a large one. So along with the bad listening skills and waiting time at the drive thru, she was snobby in telling us what we ordered, and she didn't even offer to change it to a large, she just handed us the drink and stood there in the window. Whatever happened to the saying "the customer is always right?" It was the most ridiculous McDonalds visit I think I'll ever have, and it better be the only one, because that should be embarrassing for them as a business. Overall I never plan on going back through that McDonalds again, and my advice is that unless you are very desperate for McDonalds and can't bare to go without it for another fifteen minutes, do not even LOOK in the direction of this establishment. read more

Worst customer service ever. The employees at the counter stood around talking while I could clearly see my order ready on the line. I didn't get a straw with my orange juice and asked for one. The employee rolled her eyes and said, "they're out there." I pointed out that the straw dispenser was empty "out there" and she practically through a straw at me with a heavy sigh.
