It's literally the only place I went that day, so that was pretty disappointing as well. Overall, it wasn't just the food. Mistakes happen. It was the lack of attention and customer service that left the bad impression.

Used to love the food but that racist sign has no place in a civilized society. Last year we were there one of the workers made a racist joke to my husband about a little black girl behind us and they use the sides of their building to promote political propaganda. You sell hotdogs and ice cream, not xenophobia and racism. Stick to your job. Also, remember that while we have a lot of other small minded people around here like you, we have an even larger group of people who are kind, empathetic, compassionate and find racism and xenophobia repugnant. Wimpy's is reopening in May 2017 with new owners -- and new menu items, including Broaster Chicken lunches and dinners (legs, thighs, breasts, tenders, etc.), hot dogs, burgers and appetizers. It will also be serving hand dipped and soft serve ice cream treats. read more
