If you want pie, and an awesome breakfast, this is where you need to go. I just had the best blueberry pie with a perfectly crumbly crust, that I have had in years. I will be trying every single one of them going forward. Looking forward to the coconut cream pie next.

We will return. Service was good and the restaurant was clean. Cute train decor. We stopped in for lunch. I ordered the roast beef lunch which is different than the roast beef sandwich. I was asked how I wanted the roast beef. I received it as ordered --medium rare. I really enjoyed it. My husband ordered a salmon burger. It came with a choice of one side. He thought it was very tasty. I thought the prices were reasonable.

AWESOME! We drive from Atlanta, MI to come here. The peanut butter pie is excellent and we usually take a whole pie or at least some pieces of pie home for another day. Family friendly, wonderful quality food, and great service we love coming to the Depot!

Just went here for breakfast and so good! There were tons of specials on their menu and I was really impressed by the selection for being so far out. Several of the breads are home made so be sure to ask because they are soooo good! I had the big breakfast platter with biscuits and gravy and home fries and sausage patties eggs and it was so much food! The biscuits and gravy weren't my favorite and they don't have any side dishes of fruit (but the waitress did give me a bunch of melon!) but those are by far the worst things I can say about this place. The building was the old train station for the area and it has tons of train themed decorations which are really interesting. Overall it was very clean and updated and very friendly staff. If you are in the area stop in for breakfast for sure!

Food was great, the service was quick and prompt. Ambiance was vintage diner with a train depot theme.

This place was such a fun breakfast stop!…read more My wife ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast with a yogurt, and I had the Michigan Berry Salad. First of all... the portions are HUGE! We shared everything and still had leftovers. We were literally fighting over the last bite of that cinnamon roll French toast... I lost. But that's okay because I took my butt right back the next day and ordered a full serving all for myself! Now, the salad wasn't my favorite, but I do want to say this. With everything that's been in the news lately about fresh produce and people being cautious because of recent food safety concerns, I was paying close attention. This salad looked freshly prepared not dumped out of a bag which made me feel much better about ordering it. The real star of the show, though, was that Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It was absolutely worth going back for! The people in Gaylord are some of the sweetest you'll ever meet, and the staff here fit right in. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. The restaurant itself is colorful, cozy, and full of charm. I especially loved the giant colorful coffee mugs decorating the outside they're adorable and definitely photo-worthy! One thing to know before you go: they close at 2:00 PM, so make sure you get there before then. If you're looking for a wholesome breakfast spot with generous portions and a welcoming atmosphere, Rise & Dine is definitely a must-try!

The Farmer's Table is conveniently located just off the Wolverine, MI exit of I-75. It looks like it may have once been a gas station; very unassuming building with a huge parking lot for all sorts of vehicles, trucks and RV's. Once you step inside, the magic happens. Cute and cozy, filled with charming little tables and a mercantile area, the friendly staff will greet you and make you feel at home. Their menu is varied with many entrees made from locally sourced ingredients. This concept feels fresh and healthy, though the entrees themselves feel like grandma's cooking. Not fancy or trendy, but hearty, flavorful home cooking. My husband chose a pork chop, baked potato, corn and side salad. The photo of the pork chop looks juicy and tender; it was just that. He said it was the best pork chop he's ever had. The apple glaze was really good. I chose the chicken cordon blue, to sample something I would not make at home. It was rich, a tad salty yet very good. The side corn was amazing, as was the apple slaw. Next time I'll ask for mashed potatoes without the dark gravy. We took a small fried raspberry pie for dessert on the road and enjoyed mulling the through their homemade bakery items. The prices were very reasonable. We will be making this stop a regular on our way up north. Look forward to trying their brunch items, which get raved reviews.

We started off with coffee and OJ. No espresso machine so you're typical cup of joe. For breakfast, we ordered the crab cake bennie, Greek omelette, and corned beef hash. The crab cake Bennie was so good! I ordered a side of avocado too. Looking at other yelp reviews, the crab cake Bennie may have come with hash browns or fresh fruit in the past. My husband ordered the corned beef hash which was so yummy! My mom got the Greek omelette which she loved. The lunch/dinner menu looked so good. Definitely want to come back for the cabbage lasagna and the meatloaf. The dessert menu sounded delicious too. The Guinness chili are cake with Bailey cream was calling our name but it was sold out. Gives us a reason to come back... very soon!
