If I could give 0 stars, I would. This McDonald's is very convenient, it's right down the street from where I live! However, on 9/29/19, we stopped by on the way home to get some dinner, and all seemed well until we got home. In one of our fries, we found a long, sharp piece of metal imbedded into a fry. It wasn't noticed until the last second, and it's lucky it wasn't eaten! When we brought it into the McDonald's to talk to a manager, she looked at it, and threw it away, while offering us a refund on the one large French Fry. We had spent over $30 this visit, and we didn't know if the rest of the food was safe! We will be talking to a general manager this morning, but as of right now, we will not be returning. And we suggest you check your food before eating, or avoid this location. read more

My wife and I stopped at this location a couple of times and have yet to have even a decent experience. The first time we had ordered McChicken sandwiches with cheese. They charged us for the cheese but didn't put it on. We called and was told to mention the girl's name we spoke to the next time we came up and that we had a credit. When we stopped in to use our credit, they tried charging us for the cheese, but not the sandwiches. I told the kid working the pay window that's why we had a credit, because we paid for cheese and didn't get it, so why pay for it again? He had trouble understanding this so I told him to just forget it all and remove the whole order. The girl who originally gave us the credits and told us to mention her name went to him and yelled at him in front of us to put the order back on the screen and then tried to get us to pay for the cheese. When I explained to her what was going on she slammed the drive thru window in my face, yelled at the kid some more and stormed off. I wrote McDonald's to let them know and they responded (even though I didn't want them to) and said they take it very seriously and that they would let the store owner know. I don't know if they did, and I don't care. We haven't gone to any McDonald's since then. That was July 9, 2021. Tonight we were running late to work and for whatever reason I decided I wanted McDonald's. We stopped at this location, because I'm stupid, and ordered 4 double cheeseburgers with extra cheese, no mustard or ketchup, add mayo, and a medium fry. The fries were cold. COLD. The burgers were made the way we ordered, but there were no pickles and they added lettuce. And they were all COLD. Not even room temperature. COLD. The cheese wasn't melted, of course, and all four burgers weren't even wrapped completely. And, with nobody in front of us in the drive thru, it still took them 10 minutes to get our order to us. I guess that's how long it took them to get it all out of the fridge. I will never spend another penny at any McDonald's, ever. Furthermore, why is it every McDonald's puts ketchup and mustard on regularly, but when they put mayo on a burger it's like they shot it on with a Super Soaker? I have just went thru the drive thru to order 2 Oero McFlurries. I was told the ice cream machine was down. I asked the girl at the speaker if they have ever gotten it fixed, as I have been asking for various ice cream products and have been told on 4 different occasions that the ice cream machine was down (again) during the month of September 2018. These are the same people who can't seem to get a sandwich right. I ordered a filet of fish and when I opened the box, the cheese was melted inside the box, barely on the sandwich. The same order I asked for a Big Mac. When we opened the box, it was missing a beef patty. It seems like careless mistakes. \Most people will post on face book that they will intentionally drive past the store and visit the one further away. This store has never operated correctly, but the owner of the franchise should seriously look at cleaning house or retraining people. read more

This McDonald's has to be the worst one I have ever been to. I live about three minutes away and I try to eat there whenever I'm out running around hoping at some point my orders would be right. Today all I ordered was a double hamburger and they gave me a single hamburger. I would give this restaurant 0 stars if I could. Let me explain to you how awful this McDonald's is: I dowloaded the Yelp app and created an account only to review this Location. I plan to delete my app after this. I don't ever review places - I don't care. I'm the girl who tips way too much for mediocre waiters and tries to tip for carry out orders to my boyfriend's dismay. But this - this is different. This review is necessary. The day shift is whatever. They get things wrong and I always get a regular coke instead of a Diet, but it's whatever. I can handle crap like that. The night shift. Holy shit. Actually, you know what, there is no night shift apparently, because even though it's a 24 hour location, the lights are generally turned off after dark and, even though I can see workers inside, they're generally crouched down,HIDING FROM CUSTOMERS. I hope management is aware that these workers are getting paid to just hang out. Also, of course "our ice cream machine is broken," is a regular occurrence - obviously. Also, on more than one occasion, there was a taped sign on the order booth stating: "We cannot take orders for the next 15 minutes. If you have any problems with that, call management." Not to mention, the food is generally whatever. Least of my worries. The customer service is atrocious. My boyfriend and I have officially "black balled" this location so many times, but it's so close to our home that it's so convenient. But after the third night we found the workers crouched down hiding from customers, we're officially never going there again. read more

McDonalds is always okay. It just kinda depends what day and time you arrive that affects your service. Caramel frap is amazing!

As far as McDonald's goes, this one is pretty good. The food is almost always "fresh" (as fresh as goes at McDonald's), with the occasional lukewarm fries. A couple good tests of a good McDonald's is whether the fish is consistently cooked right (yes) and whether the bacon is crispy (yes). There are periodic issues with order accuracy, though I haven't had any in a while. I do, however, check my bag before driving off. If you have a dog, they're pretty good about having dog biscuits too. read more

I say that because this one is closest to my house, I visit it probably most often and almost always received wrong orders. I just now ordered "two large iced coffee's, no liquid sugar, cream only". I was literally handed two cups of iced milk. Seriously, they were straight-up white liquid and ice. I immediately handed them right back and asked for them to pour some out and add more coffee. I received attitude followed by an update that they were out of iced coffee. Umm... were you out of (or low on) coffee 30 seconds ago and just tried to serve me liquid cream on ice? Now I am in a reserved parking spot waiting on more coffee to brew. Can wait to enjoy my spit & booger coffee! read more

As far as McDonalds goes, this is the absolute worst in Hamilton. Placed 2 orders here on 3/22/16. The first order was a quarter pounder with cheese meal, no onions, and a Big Mac meal. The quarter pounder had onions and the Big Mac had mustard and ketchup. Onions weren't a big deal. They can be picked off. I could tell where the mustard and ketchup had been scraped off and the bun re-used. The second order was simply a Big Mac. It took 9 minutes to get a Big Mac. 9 minutes. No exaggeration. 9 minutes. All 3 sandwiches were sloppily assembled. Both Big Macs were very difficult to eat and I had to throw the middle bun from mine away so I could eat it. From what I saw it looked like the oldest person there was still under 21. As far as the fries go, well, McDonald's fries suck no matter what you do. I have had repeated poor quality food and service from this location. The only reason I go here is proximity. I would try any other option before going here. McSchmidt Enterprises, you need to work on the crew operating this franchise. Your other locations are pretty good, but Millville Avenue is horrendous. read more
