Absolutely the WORST McDonald's in the Country! I was here about a month ago and was served RAW meat and I emailed the owner Jeff who kindly sent me 5 gift cards for a meal. I go back today and order a kids meal and a cheeseburger and the manager and employee charged me for the meal and used the gift card for the cheeseburger. When I asked why I was told "kids meal aren't part of the deal" so I decided not to argue with them and proceed to the pick up window. I open my cheeseburger and found that I had NO DAMN MEAT this time smh so I attempt to go in and ask for the mgr and was denied, denied a refund as well and brought out another cheeseburger which I trashed. The service at this location is so horrible that I rarely go. Today was the 2nd time this year and will be my last. I did a mobile order and placed a 2nd order while in line. This seemed to totally confuse everyone causing me to receive partial orders and have to wait multiple times for my food. Due to the poor service, I asked for a refund. Instead of just giving my money back, the manager kept trying to convince me to let her make it right. I rarely eat fast food. Not just because it's horribly bad for you but due to Crohns Disease and gastroparesis, I can't digest greasy fast food well. But once in awhile, it's a convenience thing when you're just exhausted, in pain and don't have the strength to cook. But the McDonald's in Lovejoy/Hampton has gone to hell over the last couple of years since I moved here. The people that work there are rude, lazy, goofing off, playing on their phones, slow as hell, never get your order right, etc. The food is always cold, burnt, and generally nasty. If you say anything about it, you get a nasty attitude. But after I got severe food poisoning there in April, I will never go back as long as those incompetent fools work there. Their employees also double charge your credit card and pocket the cash, it's happened to me twice and the manager(s) refuse to refund you. Hopefully getting some older folk in there who have some decency, self respect and a sense of good work ethics will drive the current employees out of there. And people saying it will slow things down...who cares? I rather wait a couple extra minutes to ensure my food is made right and know I won't get some uppity attitude these younger folks have. Until then, I will avoid the Lovejoy/Hampton location like the plague...cause if you eat there, you just might get the plague! It's been nearly 2 months and I'm still not feeling right! I have never had good service at this location. It in a convenient location so I used to go thru and get tea but after several times of having to switch drinks or pay for a drink I don't drink because its spoiled I don't go to get tea. Also, what kind of Mcdonalds that has a playground closes the playground at dinner time so they can have a training. My kids got to choose what we were doing for dinner and after spending money on food we went to the playground only to find out the playground was closed. The store manager was very, very rude to me and to my son who didn't know how to read the sign and was a few feet ahead of me. I will NEVER go back to this Mcdonals!
