My son and I recently visited Moreau's and were saddened that something had changed. He used to love getting their square cut light airy cheese pizza. It was perfection. This past Sunday we went and ordered his usual and were surprised when we opened the box and it was a round pizza. We said ok it's just round, let's give it a try, it was doughy sauce tasted different, cheese tasted different. It was more of a margherita style instead of the cheese he was looking for. I'm not sure what world this is famous in - but it's very mediocre. The pasta is soupy. The customer service is also really bad. I had ordered lobster Mac & chicken Mac. Had the order picked up - and when it arrived my lobster Mac was instead salmon Mac. Tried the salmon Mac and it was extremely salty. I called to see if they would refund for the lobster Mac difference and they said they do not issue refunds. Which is strange as they got the order wrong & there's a price difference between lobster and salmon. She then said I would have to come back, and return the salmon before I could get my lobster Mac made. Mr. Fiancé kept raving about how good Moreau's is. We were on that side of town ripping and running and decided to stop there. It seems to be take out only so don't go in expecting to sit down. It's still a very nice place inside with pretty decent service. I ordered the Hennessey wings and fries. Babe got the seafood mac and cheese. My fries had mac and cheese on top of them which I wasn't too happy about initially. After consuming pretty much all of it, I'll have to retract my statement lol! The wings were delicious! I could put that sauce on everything. I also tried some of the seafood pasta and it was creamy, delicious, not overly done and it wasn't too fishy in smell or taste. I'll tell you, dinner at Moreau's almost spiraled into a debacle for yours truly tonight, as this critic had different things on his mind and had left a certain possession of his at their counter. I'd ordered some fish tacos plus fries with cheese and bacon for dinner -- that's all. The tacos don't look the neatest to me, but they are very nicely spiced. It was the hot fries that tempted me to sit inside my parked car, lift the plastic lid, and start munching them. Now, I've covered this before, all those bacon bits are a real indulgence for a guy like me who's over 30. Still, they were a very good treat and that's all that mattered. So, there's a rap on the window while I'm eating fries (there weren't that many, but this was actually healthy in a funny way), I look over, there's Moreau's cook outside, and he's holding my credit card. Super amazing food always. No where to sit inside, so make sure you aren't planing to do that. The workers are sometimes super nice and sometimes just okay, but none of them have been rude. My go to is usually the shrimp Alfredo, but their crab/lobster is amazing as well. The only one that was okay was the steak because it was more done than I would like, but that's just a personal preference. Would recommend trying out. read more

The food for this particular visit wasn't bad wasn't as good as the original on Tara. My disdain came when the McDonough location left half my order out. When I called to ask they said no refund even though the website says missed items were eligible for refunds. In my experience when the establishment is at fault it is there responsibility to correct the infraction which did not happen. I ordered the veggie mac. It came with spinach, mushrooms, olives, green peppers, onions and marinara pizza sauce. It does come with shredded mozzarella and sprinkled Parmesan cheese. But it's not overly cheesy or heavy, as I was looking for something filling but still kinda light. I paid extra for broccoli and tomatoes. I found out they were out of tomatoes after I paid, so as a courtesy they add a lil chicken. It tastes really good. Nice warm and hearty. I drove up and ordered and was in an out in about 20 minutes. Their prices are slightly higher than what's advertised on the menu posted in the restaurant. And I noticed that a lot of people were pick up orders they previously called in. Words can't describe how good their pasta is. I was visiting my Dad and we decided to grab some Jamaican food but the shop ran out of meat. Not sure how that happens but Moreau was right next door so we decided to go there. If you love pasta then this your place. I'd been looking at this place for a while so when I had a chance I bought lunch for all of my co-workers. Ordering the food was easy and picking it up was a delight since the staff was so friendly. The location itself was nice with a couple of cool lights and a retro modern decor. With style likes this it would make for a nice sit-down restaurant instead of just takeout. A couple of highlights from my co-workers were comments on how good the different meals smelled and how the Lemon Pepper wings were tasty and had an extra kick they didn't expect. I had a personal sized Veggie Mac with added Cajun Shrimp and my oh my was it tasty. The creaminess of the cheese, the kick of the Cajun spices, the texture of the macaroni and everything being perfectly cooked made for a delightful meal. Overall everyone liked their food with some having better experiences than others but everyone said they looked forward to trying something new from there. On Wednesday, 11/1/23, I purchased a Cajun chicken & shrimp Mac & cheese with Ciroc wings and an Oreo cookie cheesecake. Everything was deliciously scrumptious. On Friday, 11/3/23, I ordered a deep dish spicy chicken Mac & cheese for a paint party event and the ladies loved it. The pan fed 15 ladies and there were still leftovers. Moreau's gets 10 thumbs up! I heard about this restaurant for awhile via Tik Tok and word if mouth and since I was in the area, I ordered ahead for lunch. I would advice everyone to call ahead to ordered. I was informed it would be a 20 minute wait and still waited about 5 minutes after getting there to pay. But I can hands down say the WAIT WAS WORTH IT! The Cajun Shrimp mac was soo delicious, creamy, cheesy and very well seasoned. My sister is a vegan and very enjoyed the Veggie Mac and the stated the vegetables were very fresh and crisp and the red sauce was beyond tasty. However, the real star of the night was the Honey Ciroc wings! The chicken wings were a great size and very crispy despite being covered in the best honey flavored sauce I was ever tasted. This restaurant went down tremendously in the last year. The customer service is horrible. They don't add all your toppings on your food. When I placed an order last month for a veggie pizza, they had no mushrooms and didn't tell me the time i ordered nor pickup. I opened my box before leaving and had no damn mushrooms on a veggie pizza. Mgr said they're out... I explained that you need to inform people at the time they are ordering. Month later, I'm here now. When I called, I specifically asked if they had mushrooms, and she said yes. I arrive to pick up and check my pizza, and guess what ..no damn mushrooms. The food is AMAZING! Well cooked and seasoned! I ordered the crab Mac with chicken and my husband got the chicken scrimp and spinach Alfredo. Both were delicious and the portions size is enough to feed two! They didn't skimp on the protein in neither dishes! Its also very affordable the two dishes were only $24.
