After leaving town, I reached into my pocket and realized $179 was missing. We called the restaurant, and they checked the booth and found that exact amount. They safely held the money in the register until we returned to pick it up. When I tried to offer a reward for their honesty, they kindly refused. The integrity and character of this staff is something you don't see often, and it left a lasting impression on us. Thank you for being good people! And the food was good too :)

For the record, I worked at a BK in Kentwood for about a year, they're very easy to work with. I trained a lot of people on those registers and they pick up quickly. After repeating my order for the third time, I finally asked the guy in the kitchen to read it back to me because the girl on the counter couldn't get it right. I did my best to be kind despite being hangry, but it didn't seem to bother her since she just pulled out her phone and started texting as soon as my receipt printed. They have the fancy new coke machines that will let you combine any flavor, except none of the flavors were available. While trying to find something that wasn't out, I heard the manager ask if "these sad little rings were still good" before putting them on my tray. Nah, they were cold and soggy. Not good. My sandwiches were pretty good since the kitchen guy was paying attention, so a point for that. Overall, still disappointed. Cashier and manager are the people that give Millennials a bad name.
