What a great spot! Hot hamburgers with steam, French fries steaming hot! Mug of root beer like the old A and W, I have no complaints!

Authentic outdoor/in car dining that's not a chain. Fast friendly service, food was hot and looked great! Rootbeer like you remember.. when it was called sasparilla! Rich, sweet, foamy served in an ice cold mug. Footlong coney was huge- probably over a pound with cheese and chili. Definitely worth pulling off the freeway for.. plenty of parking too!

I really love old fashioned drive-up restaurants like this and was so excited when I came across it while planning my road trip in Michigan. I also love a good root beer and was impressed when this one was served in a frosty mug. Chicken strips were standard but I'm not a big fan of crinkle cut fries and pre-packaged ranch. It's cool being served in the car though and it makes you feel like you've stepped back in time.

Save the calories. I tried a cheeseburger, mushroom swiss burger, and a diet root beer. The hamburger meat tastes like unseasoned, well-done hamburger. It is not good. Once here was enough. Staff was friendly though.

No idea what the hype is about for this place The chili dog had ground beef chopped finely, very little Chili flavoring and a small hot dog which was not even hot. The onion rings were just so so. The Cole slaw had very little sauce on it. So disappointing as I had wanted to try this place for 2 years. The fries were good. The Italian beef was on a soft hoagie roll - the roll was good. The beef not so much. Our server was very good but not enough to make up for the mediocre food. No return trip

Found a Gem of a Root-beer drive in dinner off I-94 exit at Paw Paw Michigan. Not sure which was better the food or the service? Wife had Chicago hot dog and tator tots with coleslaw. They were delicious. I tried a coney with hamburger chili. Excellent. Also tried the pulled pork sandwich with french fries and and the coleslaw. Yes we will go back! So many tasty items on the menu, so little room in stomach! The staff worked like a real team supporting each other's customers and gif did they hustle! If in Michigan and going to Chicago you have to check their box!

Great food and root beer! My kids loved eating in the car. Also, they have a gluten free bun, so that is a plus!

I think the Chicago dog and the Italian Beef with the au jus on the side were solid, but nothing to write back home to Chicago about. Better than Portillo's, kind of reminded me of Mr. Beef almost. Getting the sandwich wet is usually the rite of passage, but I went for the au jus on the side. Don't make the mistake I did. Everything just falls out of it when you tilt the sandwich to dip it. Also, if you think you can eat hot giardiniera peppers, just think for a quick sec longer because these ones were pretty hot for someone who has a decent heat tolerance.

It was portioned correctly. It just was very bland compared to what else you can get in Grand Rapids. The chili cheese fries also were not horrible but I wanna say they were great. It is just gas station cheese and chili from a can. Again, not horrible just nothing special. Overall, I probably wouldn't recommend this place but I also want to steer someone away either especially if you are drunk and at the bar across the street. I'm sure it tastes much better. That being said, I think it's a perfect restaurant for its location. There is not a ton of competition directly next-door or across the street. And technically, the Bar across the street has food of a similar quality however it is a nice alternative It's up to you. There's much better places in town for hotdog however, I would give the spot another shot to try the Italian beef. I have heard it is not excellent, but I have not had it Personally.

The food is hot and you are called to the window to get your order. The burrito was kind of pricey, decent size and just ok. It's served with a few chips. The chili cheese dogs had liquid white cheese, homemade chili with beans. The hot dog was hot inside (normally I've been getting cold inside at other places) however the chili just didn't thrill me. Okkkkkkkk I'm a chili dog snob so it was just my personal preference. Both meals came with a 20 oz pop. The menu is VERY small and limited but if the food is good you don't need a lot of items. Plus the husband & wife are doing everything alone. I really really hope they succeed in this business. I give them so much credit for trying and chasing their dream. We probably will not go back because we weren't thrilled. There have been a lot of positive comments on our local social pages. I've heard their shakes are amazing - give the place a try

My wife had ordered the food through the QR code provided on the sign, after placing the order it listed they would bring our food to the car; during the order it even asked for our location? Instead we received zero confirmation that the order was ready, as it sat outside waiting to be picked up. We were expected to rummage through a pile of orders/bags in order to find our name on the ticket; not too practical. Definitely wouldn't waste money here, especially when they market themselves to be something they aren't.
