This is a place we loved to go to. But lately things aren't the same. Waited in line 20 minutes through the drive thru. Used mobile app then merged with the order line. Not often you ever get poor service at a Chick-fil-a, but I think this location might have the best service of any Chick-fil-a in Michigan. Always clean, great counter service, and they always ask you for refills and extra sauces. They even take your tray most of the time. All the employees are friendly and attentive. I love taking my Granddaughter to Chick-Fil-A when I visit Grand Rapids. I've always had a wonderful experience until just now. We ordered fruit with her child's meal. The cashier asked to verify and repeated fruit with the order. When the food was brought to us, the meal had french fries. The employee wanted to charge the extra cost. Any other business would have been happy to leave the fries and correct the mistake. The employee was not happy and for the first time ever, I heard the phrase "my pleasure" insincerely. read more

Wow get out your arm & leg because it is expensive! Ordered for 3 people and felt like we donated money to another country. I'm not impressed but my family enjoys the food from here. When I get home I like to air fry my fries and add liquid homemade cheese to my fries! Delicous and made to feel as if the fries are from Jersey and New York! Great service and fast. If you haven't then you must. If you're unsure order what I order: Spicy Delux Chicken Sandwich with waffle fries. It's really not that spicy. Just the right amount to get the flavor. Then what you do is ask for Chick-fil-A sauce and put that liquid gold right on top of that chicken sandwich. Other popular and great menu options that I've had and put my stamp of approval on: -Any of their shakes -lemonade -chicken strips Thank God that he has brought Grand Rapids a Chick-fil-A. I've always heard good things about the service at chik-fil-a and I was so happy with the service I received when I went for the first time myself. The wait was not long at all and the food was amazing. The staff was constantly checking in on me and my friend and offered us water which we graciously accepted. Having visited many Chick-fil-As, I would have to say, this is hands-down the best run location I've encountered. The place looks great - very clean and organized. Service was fast and efficient. I had a mobile order and I typically eat in the parking lot so it wasn't a big deal when my first sandwich had pickles on it when I asked for no pickles. A gentleman inside politely apologized and made sure I was given a sandwich without pickles.. this one in the video. Any idea what that white squishy substance may be? First note - I'm not going to discuss politics here. What a company may or may not agree with is not the focus of my review. I decided to check out this place to see what all the fuss was about but I refused to go during the first couple of weeks when lines were out onto Kalamazoo avenue, so now about a month later I finally got a chance to check it out. First of all, as you would expect from a new business it is clean - scrupulously clean. And they seem to take good pride in keeping it so, while I dined in I watched a manager going around scrubbing what appeared to already be a nice clean floor, pulling aside tables and such to get every corner. Nice to see. The service was friendly and even though they were busy, it was pretty darn fast. The drive through had at least a dozen cars in it so I dined in. Took me maybe three minutes to order, and get my food delivered to my table. The chicken strips were incredibly tasty, but I was disappointed by their small size - each was about the size of two chicken nuggets put end to end, and I could have had 12 nuggets for the same price. But the chicken was hot and fresh, the breading amazing, and the waffle fries were really good. read more

Got a mobile order. My phone said it was on the way. It was about 20 minutes later, and still not there. I was heading in to find out what was wrong, when the manager answered my phone call. She said the employees could not tell it was 2 sodas. That made no sense to me as an explanation so I asked if the person was not able to read. The manager pointed out that I was rude. I thought maybe the person did have a reading problem, but no. I did not intend to be rude, but the manager said such a dumb thing. She was looking to argue rather than apologize, and fix it. I have had a few mix ups at this Place before. In the past they were always fixed promptly. This manager should find a job at a warehouse so that she does not have to interact with humans. read more

I've been at this Chick-Fil-A several times for breakfast. The chicken and biscuit sandwich is very good, the hash browns are hit or miss, I prefer mine a little on the crispy side, theirs tend to be more often on the softer side. In my many visits, there is one thing that has been consistently bad - the coffee. Today was the third time my coffee has been so bad that I had to throw it out. At other times I've been able to salvage it when I get to work and add some cream (powdered...ugh) and sugar. Today's coffee tasted rancid had an odor I can't quite describe...almost fishy. I've been giving them the benefit of the doubt, hoping that by some chance, I've just had some bad luck getting a few bad coffees and it'll get better. However, At this point I'm thinking they're just incapable of making a good cup of coffee. On a positive note, the the customer service has always been great. read more

I've been to many different Chick-fil-A is over the years and not once have I ever had breakfast and I don't know why. But today on my way to Holland we stopped to get breakfast and I suggested Chick-fil-A out of nowhere. I'm very please that I suggested this because I love their lunch menu/dinner menu and their breakfast is out of this world. I wish I had a Chick-fil-A closer to where I live but sadly it's kind of far so I don't get a visit as much as I want to and I wish I did. But I was just down by their breakfast and can't wait to have your item off their menu. My visit didn't disappoint. While the lines both inside, and at the drive thru were long, they moved fast. The food never disappoints. Always fresh, hot and delicious! Staff is always friendly and polite! My usual order is a #1 Original combo with waffle fries, diet lemonade, one honey mustard sauce, and one Polynesian sauce. Decided to stop by this place this afternoon. Have not had a chick-fil-a since I don't know when. Be warned. The lines are long especially the drive thru. The low rating is for the sandwich which I found quite salty. The waffle fries were good. I think I prefer KFC chicken sandwich. I had the meal for $6.85 (samwich, fries and drink). But I don't think I will be going back for a while. Nothing special. read more

We did some simple math based on our receipt number and how many days and hours they've been open for and this place is nuts. They're servicing more than 4 orders per minute, which, I'm assuming is done-in, takeout and drive-thru combined, because if not, then that's an even more ridiculous number. We came in 3 weeks-ish after they opened for dine-in at 9pm on a weekday and the drive-thru line was still 8 cars deep. Dine-in wasn't as bad and both were pretty speedy.
