This location forces delivery drivers to walk up to the drive-thru window--on foot--through active traffic, even in heavy rain or late at night. It's dangerous, inconsiderate, and completely unreasonable. Employees are rude, unhelpful, and show zero concern for others safety. Serious changes need to be made. The night shift employees here are unbelievably rude. They treat DoorDash drivers like we are a problem instead of people doing our job. Instead of handing the order through the drive thru window like every other McDonalds, they tell you to park your car and stand outside in the freezing cold at four in the morning. I went into the Haverstraw location today and all of the employees except for one were talking amongst themselves even the manager just chatting away never turned around to ask why I was there. But, there was one emplyee named Angelica young girl working that whole restaurant personable smile in her face and just doing everything from front to back. She needs a promotion she needs to run that store because out of everyone in there you can tell she does her job. As a ex hiring manager for many stores I wish I could get her out of that toxic environment her energy doesn't belong there. I'm only giving this review 5 stars because of her. Totally worst McDonald's experience in New York State! They make you wait on the side despite being the only car in the drive through and a large team working inside with a fairly empty store. They're constantly getting orders wrong after making you wait longer than expected and then they will have an attitude when you explain the issue they made. Every once in a while there's 1 competent employee but they never seem to last. It is the only McDonald's in the area and I've seen them get hit with insane rushes that pour out onto the main road however, these issues remain even during the slowest of times at the establishment. read more

I like to be fair in my reviews, but this time I have to put the manager of this location on blast! If I had to describe him in a phrase here's what it'd be: He both looks and acts like a rotten crusty asshole! I am a college student trying to pay for college by working 2 jobs. I work in a warehouse by night and in the day and evenings of my days off I am a Door Dash driver and an Uber Eats driver. I went in to the location on the morning of August 6th, 2021 seeking my deliveries. However, the manager was stubborn and spoke to me in a rude and dismissive tone. He only wanted to give me 1/2 orders I had, and forced me to come back to pick up my second order later. I tried to explain my logical point of view, but he snarled at me like an untrained dog would do. His reputation for being a beast like bastard and a scum bag is well known because a former employee had entered the restaurant while I was there. She relayed that she left the McDonald's restaurant because of the manager and his disgustingly dirty manner. There is Wendy's across the street, a Taco Bell, a Pizza Hut, and a KFC, those restaurants are more preferable to this shit hole. TFS, a local business who is right up the road deserves more support than a McDonald's who has a terrible reputation! Called before we went to ask if play place was open. The member on the phone reported it was open. When I arrived 30 minutes later, sign on play place says closed.
