Very rude lady working the drive thru. 6/21/25 5:40am They put their promotional signs to where you can't read them once you're at the speaker. I asked, can I get ____________ she says "no!" and proceeds to tell me the correct way to order the breakfast special but in a very rude condescending way. I just replied with "OK I'll go with that" because the option she gave me at least had the Mc griddle that I wanted. She quickly replies with the total and tells me to pull up. To Avoid spit in my food I just did what her rude self told me, but I had intentions on getting other items or at least a drink!! When I got to the window to pay for the order, she didn't greet me at all just took my card tapped it, handed it back, never offered my receipt, and shewed me off to the next window. When I got my order, it did not have the Mc griddle but 2 English muffins. Dry food with not a chance to order a drink because; shame on me for interrupting her morning at work to make her do her job!! And because she didn't give me my receipt, I couldn't even bother disputing it. But also I don't want spit in my food. Also had to pull up to a parking spot to wait when there was no car behind me. Went here, ordered and everything was fine. I ordered an iced coffee, this thing came out white with a brown tint. When I got in the car and took a sip, it tasted like straight milk. But when I checked the bag, there was literally nothing that I ordered in there. I took it back in and it turns out that the worker gave me the wrong bag, and now the other people were mad that I had their food. The worker was also not concerned at all and probably couldn't care less. This is also the first ever McDonald's I've seen that has an employee of the month plaque. I can see why they have this, they definitely need the morale boost. Overall this experience was terrible read more

First off every reserved waiting parking spot (total of 4) was full with people waiting. The bearded lady working the second window gave me my drink and told me to pull forward. With all the waiting spots full and another truck already waiting in the drive thru at the third window I had to pull forward about a foot and stop as there was no where I could go. After a minute the bearded lady working the drive thru began to yell out the window at me to move when there is no where to go. She belittled me yelling "it isn't that f*cking hard". I yelled back telling her that it also isn't that hard to give people their food so the drive thru wasn't backed up with over 6 people waiting for their order. Needless to say this McDonalds always gives terrible service(hires nothing but cr*ckheads" and The food quality is always low even for McDonalds standards. Poor service, I was an inconvenience when ordering food. I was expected to go to the touch screen to order with a group of 5. We tried to use touch screen and it wouldn't let us add Mac sauce to a burger. Would recommend another Mac Donald's over this location any day. They were rude and ungrateful for business. read more

Most mornings I pass this McDonald's on my way to work and I usually see a long line (through the drive-thru) but yesterday morning (Thurs. Jan. 23rd) there wasn't a long line until after I ordered my food. The line started to back up - there was 2 cars in front of me and behind me was like 4 or more cars. It took a while for the employees to get to everyone's orders through the Drive-Thru. I was sitting there in the line for about 15 minutes, I only ordered a sausage biscuit combo with a Ice Caramel Macchiato size LARGE - the lady in the 2nd window handed me a 32oz Iced Caramel Macchiato filled to the top along with my meal. Next day (Today - Friday Jan. 24th) again it didn't looked packed so I went through the drive-thru, I ordered this time a Sausage McMuffin with egg and a Iced Caramel Macchiato size LARGE. There was again 2 cars in front of me and then behind me the line was starting to build up. I get up to the 2nd window and I see again the same lady from the day before - I see her finishing up making the Iced Caramel Macchiato but the size of the cup was tall but slimmer so I thought (maybe someone else ordered one too that one isn't mine cause of the size of the cup) and I saw that there was another being prepped to be made that was a 32oz! I SAW ALL THIS FROM THE WINDOW, she then brings me the one she just got done making "Iced Caramel Macchiato?" And I said "Yes but I got a size large" and she said "this is the Large" and I said to her "I literally came yesterday morning and you handed me a LARGER cup not that one." So she sets that one aside and starts making another one in the larger cup (32oz) and this time she DIDN'T fill it up all the way basically like handing me a 32 oz cup but only filled the cup up to 20 ounces or so. When she hands it to me I was so disappointed and I know she could tell I was. Then hands me my food. You can mess up on my food I DON'T CARE I'll still eat it, BUT NOT MY COFFEE! I don't have the time to sit there and make sure she corrected it again I had to go to work. I'm not saying it just for me I'm saying it for other people because I know that it's not just me that people go early in the morning by McDonald's to get something quick to eat or DRINK. I'm pretty sure the problem with this McDonald's is that it's always understaffed and not enough training. It's not my fault and I know it's not theirs either. But IF the 2nd time that I received the Iced Caramel Macchiato was and is technically the actual size LARGE for that specific coffee drink (20oz size), I'd understand and be okay with it but why would you give me the morning before a largER size (32oz)? Other times I have got a size medium and it was like the size of the 20 oz, so you see where I'm getting puzzled? Just a heads up to what to expect. read more

This place is horrible. On three different occasions, I've tried to order a caramel macchiato and they've said their "machine is cleaning itself." Another time I tried to order a chocolate shake and they said, "We don't have chocolate shakes right now." Tonight, I pulled up to the speaker and was greeted with, "I'll be with you in just a moment." Then the cashier proceeds to take orders from the other drive-thru lane, from two cars that arrived AFTER me. This place is 1 mile from where I work but I can go 4.5 miles to Cookout or Chick-fil-A AND BACK in the same amount of time.. and actually get fresh food & drinks. read more

I usually don't expect too much from McDonald's when I visit. The restaurant could have been cleaner but it wasn't terrible either. The food took about 25 minutes to get called (dine in), which in my opinion is longer. The fries were either over cooked or the oil is dirty. I did get an unexpected freebie... tons of flies inside the restaurant. That's the main reason for the 2 stars. Get a big zapper or something.... ha ha. read more

this is a employer review by a former employee. just go to Bojangles, Burger King, or Dairy Queen instead. short version - understaffed and overstressed to a degree that was causing severe psychological strain on me. I just got fed up with them and decided to move on. long version - so, I got the job because they were the first people to actually call me on a submitted resume in almost 2 years. if you're looking for work, hendersonville is the worst place you could be. my position was taking orders and giving out change, and it has gone down as one of the most miserable things I have ever done. when not giving out change or taking orders, I was required to clean trays and make tea, despite there being dedicated kitchen and sanitary crew members present who should have been doing that instead. most of the time, I could not find time to bother with either due to traffic influx, so I was repeatedly reprimanded by my manager for not getting them done by the end of my shift, despite there not being any real need for me to do them, as there was always plenty of trays up front when I would bring a few up. at the same time, despite getting into the groove of things relatively quickly, my fellow employees would violently snap at me if I allowed someone to order something we did not currently have in stock, like cold brew coffee or gravy. they would do so despite never bothering to tell me what was not avaliable, therefore aggrivating the situation by basically preventing me from even knowing that we couldn't serve those items. at the same time, the sceduleing was honestly baffling, as you would never have the same 2 days off from week to week, you had no say in what days you did have off, and the scedules overlapped from week to week on wednesday, meaning that if you had friday and wednesday off one week, but wednesday of next week not off, you would be shorted a day off. the straw that broke this ex-employee's back, was when we had a day where lane 2 was being staffed by a new person, who repeatedly logged the wrong order, but I was blamed for it instead. I reached a point where I was honestly being hit by an anxiety attack from the repeated corrections that I could do nothing about from my fellow employees on the headset, and my manager to my face, when after 3 1/2 hours, the new person took a bathroom break, and someone said over the general comms channel that I needed to take lanes 1 and 2. when I attempted to do so, another employee yelled that I was NOT to take lane 2, which caused me to take off my headset, take a moment to gather myself, clock out and leave. as I was leaving, my manager said "WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!" and I responded "Good Luck, I can't do this anymore." and home I went. they burnt me down to my last nerve and lost any respect I had for them or their establishment. they're what I refer to as a "Employee Mill" because they just keep hiring and letting go employees due to horrific mismanagement, and then say to themselves "WHY WON'T ANYONE STAY?!" read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I stopped there this morning at 5:35, lights were in inside but not at the drive thru. With that being said I pulled up to the 2nd window and saw two employees inside, at first both tried to ignore me. I was trying to ask them what time they opened, the one lady put her arms up like she didn't know. At this point she is now standing in front of the drive thru window nothing the words I can't hear you. So I hollered "what time do you open" and pointed to my watch. She turns to her manager and said this "mother F*cker is yelling at me". She turns back and mouths I am calling the cops. At this point I drive off and the drive thru lights turn on so I called the store number to explain to them I was just trying to see when they opened so I knew if I had time to sit and wait before work. Terrilble, TERRIBLE service or lack there of. Visited at 7pm Saturday 4/28/18. Female employee at the 1st window was very rude. Check the menu for #7 Fish meal and you will find it is $5.99. She quoted me a total of $7.16 so I asked about the price difference. She said "because that's what it cost". I nicely informed her that it is $5.99 on the menu and asked her to tell me why my total is so much more (even with the tax but she could not do the math of course). Are you ready for this? With her nasty attitude and body language, asked "do you want it or not"? I was shocked, still thinking I misunderstood, I stated 'I am just trying to understand that price difference" (few more rude comments were made, even rolled her eyes!) then she turned away from me, yelling out to another employee "COME DEAL WITH THIS!" A female in light blue shirt came to the window with no greeting, no may I help you but more of a 'kiss my butt you are bothering me' attitude. I explained to her and told her how rude this employee is being, telling her every word that was said. The cashier never once denied any of her comments nor did she dispute any part of the conversation. The 'manager' (I asked and she said she was), just looked at me with a not so nice glare. I asked her one more time 'why the price difference'. She didn't comment so I informed her the menu price is $5.99 "why the difference when I ordered no extras etc". She said 'The price went up and they didn't change the board (she thinks)". I asked if they didn't have to honor the price they were advertising and she said 'nope'. I am not kidding you. Are you ready for the best part? NO name badges so I had to ask not once but twice for her name.......she LIED TO ME AND SAID IT WAS SIERRA. I repeated it to her and she confirmed that it was Sierra. I reported this to Corporate as this is a corp location (1-800-244-6227). There is no Sierra at this location! I'm sure you are shocked to hear that. I spoke to a female manager one hour later who admitted to knowing what happened and I asked for their real names so I can report it back to corporate when they reopen. (First names only of course). So the 'manager' who came to the window and the cashier/employee at the 1st window still have their jobs after telling the female manger on duty about this conversation. I'm sure you are not surprised. There was a little more conversation but I think you get the jest of it. By the way, when I did call back and spoke to the female manager (684-3931) (supposedly the real one), she didn't seem too concerned either. I even asked her how she can know about this and let those two employees continue to treat others most likely the same way. No comment was given. She never apologized or made any suggestion to help with this matter. I did not pay them of course. I then drove to Hendersonville McDonalds (Four Seasons Blvd) and got excellent service. Way to go management of this location! The only reason I revisited McDonald's at all was because I wanted to know the REAL PRICE of the meal I had ordered. I'm sure you will not be shocked to hear that it really is $5.99 as the menu states. So who is profiting off the customer? McDonald's or the employees who were so rude and would not even consider the fact that they were over charging. The customer was right! How many others does this happen to and they don't even question it? I would love to know if it was the employee pocketing the extra or the location. Let's assume she had 100 customers on her shift and over charged each even $1 per customer. What a nice profit a person could make in a shift (if that is what's happening). We will never know. This is not the first time we have gotten rude, VERY RUDE employees at this location. Not to mention orders not being correct. I didn't have time to go any where else which is why I ended up there. Watch your charges customers and don't expect management to back you up either. We'll see if corporate calls me back and what happens from here. I can't wait to see if my review gets posted. I would not have even posted a bad but TRUTHFUL review had the manager even acted like she cared or had concern for her customers when I called to report it to her. You will be happy to know that they cannot deny this terrible treatment, I was using the voice memo on my phone when it started and most of the conversation recorded accidentally! Every time I go to this McDonald's (right down the street from my home and easier for convenience), I order fresh fries with my meals. Whether it is a 60yr old adult or a 15 yr old teenager serving or taking orders, the orders are incorrect and I get lied to about fresh fries 95% of the time. If I wanted fries that have sat there out of the oil and in the warmer for 5 minutes then I wouldn't be asking for fresh fries now would I? If I asked for a large drink, why am I getting mediums instead? The employees do NOT listen to anything the customers order (either that or they don't care). I have placed complaints with headquarters before and all I got was a call from the manager of this restaurant and a coupon for free food. I'm not looking for compensation. I'm wanting 100% better customer service and attitudes from people who are supposed to be adult enough to have a job and my correct orders. Frankly, this is getting old. I want the lies from the employees to stop and the talking "behind" my back (even though I'm standing right there) to stop. I'd also like to hair free food as well. That's what hairnets are for!!!! I went in this morning and ordered some food with my best friend and we didn't get what we actually ordered. The cashier (an older woman I will not name here) acted like she didn't know how to use the machine in the first place. I ordered fresh fries and what I got were fries that sat in the basket above the oil for 5 minutes. My best friend ordered a large iced coffee. She got a medium in return. The order was not correct. When I asked if these were fresh fries, the reply I received from her was "Uh, yeah. They just came out." Then she proceeded to turn to her coworker and say loud enough for me to hear "Those fries just came out of the oil. Uh, yeah, they're fresh." Obviously they weren't because if I could hold a fry in my hand all through the restaurant and out to my vehicle, they were not fresh. When you call regarding your order, you get managers who argue with you and tell you you are the one who is in the wrong and they do everything right (all said with a holier than thou attitude). This is not customer service! The food here used to be pretty good years ago. The service used to be great. So what happened? It's not hard to get orders right, fix food properly and to actually tell the truth! If your company does something wrong, own up to it and correct the issue. Since this location has opened I've enjoyed it but something lately has gone amiss. A few months ago my daughter and I ordered dinner in the drive through. The order was completely screwed up. One of the problems was that - even thought they asked if she was a girl or boy, they gave her the boy toy. So I went online and complained to McDonalds. I did not feel the need to be compensated but I wanted them to fix the problem. I got a call from this location's manager. She said she would give us a free kid's meal by writing my name on a list (which I thought was dumb) in the store and they will make sure to give my boy the right toy. Palm to face. Now I see why there is a problem there. I have no intention to redeem that free meal because I fear what might happen to the food since they would know I had complained. Plus, if they had wanted to make it right they would have replaced my meal too, since it was wrong as well. But, again, I didn't need to be compensated. Well, the other day I decided to try it once more and see if it have changed. I ordered a breakfast meal this time, just for myself. The employee handed me my food telling me exactly what was in the bag so I thought for sure it would be correct. I pulled forward and looked. It was completely wrong. Again.
