The employee who took my order was very cheerful, and I didn't wait long for my food. It's great that delicious orange sherbet is served with a meal. Onion rings are the best! Potato soup was better than homemade. My food was so good that I want to return until I try everything on the menu. I appreciate that they have a separate entrance for carry out orders and a nice waiting area.

The only hard thing here is ordering outside because one can't always see every part of the menu boards tacked up under the awning ... lucky enough, the carhops bring you the full menu. Food wise: we shared an order of Fried Mozzarella Sticks (4 star good, and they only needed just a bit longer frying to make the cheese inside creamy) and we shared an order of what they bill as the largest/best serving of fries in the world (another 4 star offering that was good, but barely fed two ... let alone being the "largest"). For mains: two of us had the Cruiser Burgers (both 5 star burgers), and the last in our party had the Blue Top Burger (4 star excellent with grilled onions). Just for fun, we also tried a Chicken Taco (3 star stuff, and not really their specialty). Our group had two shakes (5 star stuff here). As a drive-in, Blue Top also knows how to have some fun: they have live music outside from time to time, and they offer "cruiser nights" when customers can drive in their muscle cars and park in the attached lot. You just have to pass by every day and read the marquee outside to know what's going on that evening or weekend. The ambiance inside is true to its 50s roots with nostalgic pictures of car drivers and their machines all over the walls. All in all, this drive-in is true to its classic car roots. Open all year. Recommended.

The brisket is still the star of the show. The spice rub on it is perfect, and it's so tender that it's unreal. The beans were okay... a little sweeter than I personally prefer, but they had huge chunks of pork in them that I definitely appreciated. We also added two slabs of ribs, and they fell right off the bone. I'm usually not a huge ribs person, but these were well cooked and flavorful. Mom loved them, and that's what really matters. We did have a few small issues with the order. We realized that our mac and cheese was unfortunately missing when we got home. They also ran out of pretzel buns midway through packing things up, so we ended up with a mix of pretzel and brioche buns instead. Honestly, we didn't mind that one too much because it gave us a chance to try both (I'd pick pretzel if I were you). When we picked up the order the place was absolutely packed, so it was hard to be upset over an honest mistake. They were clearly incredibly busy. I still don't really care for the sweeter sauce that tastes heavily like peppers to me, but their vinegar-based sauce (which I think is their original?) was much better than I remember. I'm glad to see this place is still around and still holds up after all this time. More importantly, the brisket is every bit as good as I remembered.

The manager didn't stop by, no offer of compensation, no apology. Won't be back for a while if ever.

Long long drive through lines. Order food then attempt to use discounts from the app. Cashier has no idea how to use the app and give me a discount. Decided not to use the app paid full price. Went to window 2 to get food and the order was wrong. After 10 minutes at the window the girl hands me the bags. I ask are the 4 plain cheeseburgers in the bags. Yes she says. I pull away.pull into a parking spot and the 4 plain cheeseburgers were no where to be found. I look in my rearview mirror and notice no cars currently are at either window 1 or 2. I back up about 12 feet to window 2 to tell the girl she forgot the plain cheeseburgers. I can hear a voice loudly yelling. It's the manager telling me I was given the cheeseburgers. At that same moment the young girl finds the cheeseburgers on the counter. Instead of an apology I again was yelled at saying.
