Smell: the first thing you smell is a strong peach smell. Taste: you taste mango first then the peach and sometimes the other way around. Or slightly both. For me: just saiyng, I think it would be better if they were separate. Mango or peach and you choose which flavor pie that you want. Overall, it was good. I can never complain about the food, I love McDonald's. But this is probably the slowest McDonald's on the island! Drive Thru, Curbside and Counter service. I have gone at peak times and where there is nobody inside. I visit this location because it's the closet and on the way usually but you WILL wait over 30 minutes in the drive thru or curbside. And at least 15-20 inside the restaurant for anything including a food item. I worked at McDonald's for 4 years in high school, and I just can't imagine what is slowing them down THIS MUCH. I also observe that they complete their orders on their order screens before the order is complete in order to shorten their times. Anyway, thank you for my 99c ice coffee. For reference. I made a mobile order at 945am, arrived at curbside at 9:50am, and I am still waiting for my order of 2 coffees and 3 breakfast platters at 10:21am... Hoping food will still be hot and my ice coffees aren't just sitting on the counter watered down... I ended up going inside to get my food, was greeted by a sweet young crew member named Leilani helped me get my order. Finally got my order at 10:30am. read more

Placed my order via the app. The wait wasn't long. One of the items I ordered as the regular size Oreo McFlurry and was not happy with what I received. Not sure if there were changes on how it's prepared. Maybe I'm wrong but I could have sworn that the Oreo was mixed throughout and not just on the top. Located on the corner of School st and Liliha st, decided to grab a quick breakfast sandwich. For take out. The dining area is normally crowded, downstairs with only about 5 tables, they do have upstairs dining with the restrooms upstairs. They have a stair case and elevator to go up, but hardly the area is not maintained and not cleaned regularly, so decided to bring it home and eat. The Egg McMuffin at Macdonald always can't be beat for the breakfast sandwich compared to other fast food restaurants, they have the best. read more

Drive thru, I knew the ratings were already questionable but it was the closest McDonald's and I learned my lesson. The fries were cold and the chicken nuggets tasted like I microwaved them at home. I will say it was fast service but when I pulled up to pay there were two women ignoring me with the window open as I waited to pay. I've been to this McDonald's a few times. The service is a hit or a miss. The soft serve ice cream machine is down at times, but I guess that's with most McDonald's. They just rolled out a new McFlurry called Grandma. It's vanilla soft serve with butterscotch syrup and crumbled butterscotch candy. OMG, it's so good. I'm addicted, lol. I got this one on Wednesday and was hooked. It wasn't overly sweet. This location didn't give too much syrup and candy though. I went to another location the next day and they gave way more. read more

This place is a total s*** show. I never eat McDonalds. I came to get my work bestie a collector's cup. I went inside so I could ask the cashier to look for the particular serial number that I wanted. Meanwhile, I observed a lady come in asking for the restroom. She was told to go upstairs because the 1st floor restroom was out of order . The stair case to the 2nd floor lights were all turned off, but yet they still advised her to go up. This was about 8pm, so it was dark to begin with and especially with the lights off on the stairs. I thought that was dangerous and a liability. OMG!!!! The lady comes running down frantically. She went straight to the counter to tell the employees that when she opened the door to the women's restroom there was a homeless man in there!!! The employees and the MANAGER who was also a woman didn't even flinch!! They didn't even offer to go upstairs or call the police. A few minutes later the homeless man comes downstairs. There was a local Uncle who observed the situation and started yelling at him to leave. He also told him to never go into a woman's restroom. He also said out loud that she could've been raped. The manager still didn't do or say anything to the frantic lady. This place is DANGEROUS. Management and staff do not take the proper precautions to ensure customers safety.I would've used the drive thru, but again, I wanted the specific cup and didn't want to hold up the drive thru line. read more

I ordered just one cheeseburger for someone else who wanted a burger. It took quite a while to get it. I paid $3.55 for it when it finally came. When I gave it to the other person, we found out that it did not have the burger in it, just cheese and pickles in a bun. I would like my money back, but I was too far away to go back and it was not worth the trouble, but it's ridiculous that this could even happen. Hire competent people, please!!! read more

I've been to a lot mcdonalds on Oahu and found that your store in Liliha has quite a bit of employees including more then one manager but Boi I found this mcdonalds being the slowest McDonald's on the island every single time . what is up with that? I always go to this McDonald cuz I live near and normally I never complain they have always treated me and my family well but lately they been on some funky stuff came in to get ice cream for my husband and said the ice cream machine wasn't working after i ordered my food ,I saw a delivery guy make his own ice cream cone and the McDonald worker look like they got caught with their pants their down so I was mad. You need to take the time to train your employees. Came here this morning, 3:15am. Drove to the drive thru and placed order for breakfast items. Mind you, the young lady took a long time to take my order....about 5 mins of waiting at the speaker. We get to the window and we figure out she's new. It was clear the female manager was also at wits end as we hear, "Well you need to tell them." So the trainee then tells us our breakfast order that she took is not available. They don't serve breakfast till 4am. Why did she not tell us when she was taking our order?!?!? McD.....you need to do better with training your staff I get it. At the drive-thru and my order wasn't ready. Was told to pull into one of the stalls right outside the drive-thru exit. First it was just me parked there. Then two others parked. The worker came walking out with a bag and went straight to the 3rd car as it just parked and handed them the bag. I thought that had to be mine. Then the worker starts walking back. The customer starts going through the bag and pulling out the items. Then she realizes it's not her order! I am looking right at her. Then the worker sees me and realizes that she might have given it to the wrong car. She goes back, gets the bag and brings it to me. I tell the worker that I was right here the whole time and how did she not see me!? All she can muster is "oh sorry" and walks away just looking at me like I was wrong! If you ever have problems with management at this McDonald's and you report it on their corporate website and you get a call from the store manager named Lydia and she will bribe you with free French fries and then tell you to report all problems from her restaurant to her mobile number. Please do not send your future concerns or complains to her. Always report your complaints to the McDonalds corporate website and if she texts you or call you, do not answer or respond always again report your complaints to the corporate restaurant that will scare, teach, and discipline restaurant management and employees. read more

Started my morning off at 5am with a breakfast meal from McDonald's. Got a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit meal today and instead of a soft drink, I got a bottled water, which is also an alternative drink option. So when you order a biscuit, you automatically assume that biscuits are soft but this morning, my biscuit was not soft at all. I typically frequent McDonald's Liliha in the mornings around 6 am and 7 am. What is irritating to me is that there is a maintenance person that cleans the drive through lane when the cars are waiting in line. It is very dangerous to have this person walking in front and back of the cars in line. Around that time, it's still dark. Also, this same person washes the walkway on the side of the restaurant. This person gets the hose and unintentionally splatters the cars waiting in the drive through area. When I do order the apple pie, it's not even hot.
