We love fortune tea! We stumbled upon this gem one day as we were driving. Located on pali hwy next door to Asato's and Safeway. Lots of parking in the Safeway parking lot, or street parking right in front. For some reason everytime we go to fortune tea, none of the cashier's acknowledges us. But we still come back because the drinks are really yummy. (Maybe they can smile a little more or a little hello will go a long way). They have a little eating/drinking area in their boba shop with AC! I noticed a lot of college students are in there either studying or watching a movie on their laptops. Love the drinks here! Fortune tea has one of the best milk teas, fruit teas, smoothie flavors, and add on selections in the area. One of my favorite drinks is the Coconut Latte with coffee jelly. It's the perfect combo for a delicious drink with strong caffeine. They do their Thai milk tea very well. The Thai tea flavor is strong and not watered down or too milky even when most of the ice has melted. The service here was really friendly, helpful, and quick. The shop is on the smaller side but clean and well maintained. There's a small parking lot available to customers of the plaza which makes it much easier to stop by for a refreshing drink. read more

Needed a caffeine fix on my drive home and this place popped up as an option so I figured I'd give it a try. I got the Super Fruit Tea for myself and the Passion Mango Smoothie for my friend. For mine I got it with black tea, lychee jelly, 25% sweetness and no ice. Even at 25% it was pretty sweet so if you don't like your drink sweet, go with the least sweet option! There is street parking in front and a parking lot behind. It says a lot are reserved but I found some with no signs. My drinks came out pretty fast and there's a good amount of seating to hang with friends if you plan to stay and chat. read more

The drink was smooth, fruity, and delicious. The location is rather cute being around the corner of the street, but depending on when you come you may or may not find much street parking. The tea shop was clean, bright and simple. I actually appreciated that it wasn't too cluttered with items and their menu had options but not overwhelming. Unfortunately, the drinks we got did not particularly meet expectations. The jasmine green tea with cheese foam was probably the worst drink we got - the tea was super, super dilute, and when mixed in with the cheese foam, it tasted like cheesy water. The pudding milk tea was probably the best drink we got, with a nice rich milky flavor. The passionfruit lemonade was so so. This shop seems to do best with their milky, creamy, yogurt drinks, so if you want to try this place out, I would stay away from clear teas and fruit teas. read more

Fortune Tea has been on my radar since I learned about their Mochi Soy Cream Cheese Milk Tea last year. The small shop offers a plethora of drinks ranging from milk teas, fruit teas, and smoothies! Their drinks are all reasonably priced and it's takeout only. Even though I wanted to try their milk tea, it was later in the day when I stopped by so I opted for something light and refreshing. I ordered the Passion Lychee Green Tea with Lychee Jelly and 25% sweetness. For their fruit teas, it's one size only and you can choose either green or black tea. The drink tasted strongly of passion fruit and with 25% sweetness, it was still extremely sweet! They don't offer the option of 0% sweetness. There was also a reasonable amount of lychee jelly, which paired nicely with the drink. Service was fast and our drinks came out quickly. I noticed a lot of customers ordering their smoothie drinks. Wanted to try a new spot and came here to try it out, they are in the corner of the same building as asato ice cream. There is a handful of parking stalls behind the building as well as a bunch of street parking right in front. They have a wide variety of drink types from milk tea boba, smoothies, to fruit teas. We came during covid and they don't let you into the store, they have a table set up right in the front of the door for you to order. We ordered the mochi soy cream with boba at 50% sweetness and a cloud strawberry and banana smoothie. The mochi is super soft and sticky and delicious when dipped inside the soy cream, it is also topped with kinako powder. They serve it with the top not fully attached and held with tape so you are able to get the mochi pieces before drinking, it was a little hard to put the cover on tightly after eating the mochi. The boba was nice, soft, and sweet. I really wanted the watermelon smoothie but they were out of watermelon The strawberry banana smoothie was thick, it kind of reminded me of Jamba juice but not as healthy tasting if that makes sense lol.
