I've been here twice once for breakfast and 2nd for brunch. The service is good and there's lots of seating that's comfortable and quiet. The breakfast croissant was perfect. Nice crisp bread and the eggs, cheese, and bacon were cooked perfectly. It went well with my iced coffee ($1.50 more). Came here as some friends suggested it. It's a small shop with an area across to eat at. I was able to order quickly and food took about 10 min to come out. I ordered the grilled ham and cheese on sourdough. It comes with chips and tomato soup. The grilled ham and cheese was pretty standard and came with a side of mayo and tiny pickle slices. I enjoyed it. The tomato soup was flavorful and had some pasta inside it, which was a nice surprise. The meal also came with a bag of chips which was a nice touch. A full meal for $15! I have come to Cafe Daisy a few times this past year. Overall pretty quick service, the drinks taste good, but food leaves something to be desired. A little costly for what you get but you are also paying for the atmosphere, which is mostly the building not the cafe itself. Decided to finally write a review as my latest experience was very underwhelming and likely my last visit since there are so many options downtown. The prices on the board do not match what you pay, I never noticed this before as I often don't take a receipt and just tap. Due to sensitive teeth and excess condensation leaving a mess I always do less ice. Places sometimes charge fees for less ice due to using more product or time to prepare. The "less ice" extremely nominal and the little excess product is not worth 52 cents, nor was there signage or did they verbally say anything when requested. I have no idea if they have always charged me this. Transparency is important to me. Yes it's my fault for not watching the register tally, or always requesting a receipt and reviewing, but good customer service includes informing people of extra charges and charging people what you advertise. read more

Love the drinks! This is located inside of a residential high rise tower on the 1st floor with plenty of tables and seating in a beautiful environment. Their menu includes a lot of amazing flavors to choose for coffee, tea, and food. We ordered the Haupia latte and Mac nut matcha. The Haupia latte was made so well with strong coffee balanced out with delicious Haupia. The Mac nut matcha was the best matcha I've had in a while. The matcha was strong but the mac nut flavored was still able to shine. We were able to sip on it for a while even after the ice had melted because the flavor was so good. A cute little cafe tucked away and hidden in a residential building in the middle of downtown. I was recommended Cafe Daisy by my coworker who also likes to come here for their drinks and sandwiches. I've been here twice, months apart since I don't get sent to work in downtown often. Overall it's a cheaper alternative and (from what I've noticed) one of the only cafes with a clean sitting/eating/studying area in the business district. I tried the chicken salad sandwich which was very unique considering the surrounding food vendors. I loved the light, but filling sandwich. The toasted bread adds a great crunchy texture to the salad; 10/10 recommend. Most recently, I tried their egg salad croissant and the tomato soup. I wanted to try the egg salad, but since it was cold I wanted something warm. The egg salad was okay, needed more pepper and seasoning, but I appreciated the generous helping and the price for it was fair. The tomato soup left me wanting more. Maybe it's because I didn't get a grilled cheese to go with it but I decided to just take some bites of the soup with the mozzarella topping and save the rest for my husband. Employees are nice and the little sitting area is a great break from the downtown Honolulu surroundings. Nothing too extravagant, just simple. My friend and I were going to go hiking today, but there are flood warnings and heavy rains for our island of O'ahu right now. I attempted to dine at Cafe Daisy yesterday, Sunday, when metered street parking is free. However, when I finally found the cafe, it was closed - because it was the last Sunday of the month! Whaaaat? The resident manager saw my face. I must have looked like I was ready to cry... Because she offered me a free parking pass to return on a weekday. Thank you!!! LOCATION: on the ground level of The Residences at Bishop Place - a condominium building. This is a building is next to Union Plaza, and behind Leo's Taverna. The security guard will buzz you in if you enter from the front door. If you park in the building, you'll enter through the parking structure elevator. Go to "Lobby" level (not Lounge Level). PARKING: free metered street parking on Sundays and holidays - however, the menu is limited on weekends and they're closed on holidays. If I didn't have the parking pass, I would have had to pay $26.25 without validation. Uhg! SERVICE: excellent! The cashier was so sweet (she brought our food items to us) and one of the owners (there's three of them) was very efficient and helpful! ENVIRONMENT: very clean, bright, and spacious. There were three large enclosed, air conditioned seating areas to choose from: 1. Front lobby by the security/reception area 2. Right across the hallway from the cafe 3. At the back door, between Aloha Sushi and a common work place If you need the convenient restroom, ask security to unlock the door for you. FOOD: I ordered the Breakfast Combo and chose the Everything Bagel Breakfast Sandwich. It came with a coffee (they added a splash of Oat Milk and gave me two packets of Splenda). It was delicious! The bagel was fresh and soft! My friend ordered the Ham and Cheese Grilled sandwich with avocado - I wished that I took a photo of it, but I want my own next time. She kept offering me part of her sandwich - which came with small containers of flavored mayo sauce and some relish. She ended up consuming everything because it was so good!!! Wow! We got a stamp card for our coffee drinks. I decided I wanted another coffee with latte art, so, I ordered a Haupia (coconut dessert) Latte - their most popular drink. The latte art was so cute... This remains to be my favorite cafe in Downtown! The ambiance inside The Residence and the cafe itself are very warm and welcoming. The staff are nice, and make your drinks fast and efficiently. I enjoy drinking matcha and often make it myself at home, but it's very rare for me to find matcha drinks in store that are vibrant and green. Cafe Daisy is one of the few cafes in town that make their matcha delicious and vibrant green, and you can really taste it! My go-to food and beverages are their iced brown sugar matcha, iced biscoff latte, matcha banana frappe, and their grilled ham and cheese with soup. The cafe is inside the building across from Subway. The cafe was clean and spacious. There were a few tables, chairs, and long seatings along the walls. Cafe latte: I got a small basic cafe latte. It was strong and bitter than what I preferred. I requested for extra milk to be added on the side but it was forgotten. I had to add in my own milk at home and it was very good. Raspberry mocha: I remember trying this mocha flavor in Japan and I absolutely loved it. I ordered this drink hot and the raspberry flavor was there. It's was fragrant and delicious. Again, it was a little bitter than what I would like but with more milk, it was perfect. Croffle: The croffle is a croissant shaped as a waffle. I ordered mines with honey. The croffle was flaky and warm. I love the big scoop of vanilla ice cream on top as well as the whipped cream. It was absolutely delicious. I do love honey as my topping but I would definitely try there other toppings as well. Overall, a very nice cafe place. It is located in downtown so parking is a bit of an inconvenience. It would be great if we can modify our drinks such as adding more milk or sweetener for our coffees. They also have very unique and aesthetic looking drinks per their IG and Tiktok posts. read more

I had just finished working out and wanted a healthy juice. Since I was heading downtown, I thought I check out Daisy. The cafe is located inside the Bishop building which is actually pretty cool. There are a number of places you can sit and enjoy whatever you decide to get at Daisy. The staff is really friendly! Another Yelper, Retsuko B, mentioned "the leaf" as a delicious juice, so I decided to give it a try, and she was right. Sooooo good and refreshing! I sat in the front area of the cafe and it's a comfortable space, and I also sat in the other areas as well which were great! I wouldn't stay too long, but for a brief moment of peace, why not? I know it's been only a month since my last review but this is definitely warranted. A few days ago, I had the sudden urge for Cafe Daisy's beverages. I arrived there right in the nick of time before they closed for the day for a super late lunch break. The staff were still so friendly and willing to service. Unfortunately I was in a little conundrum: which beverage should I choose?! I told the staff that I have a few drinks in mind and in turn, they decided put a twist on my issue by writing down each drink I wanted in Korean on pieces of paper, and let me pick. The staff brightened up my day as they turned my problem into a fun game! They even rung up my beverage as "drink" and instructed me to not look until they call me, which I found so fun and playful. In the end, my selection was their new drink: butterfly honey lemonade! This drink was quite refreshing with the perfect amount of sweet and tart. Definitely recommend this drink! I can't stress enough how this experience made my day. I can't wait to go back and order myself another drink off their fun menu. And I can't wait to experience the staff's fun energy again to leave with a delicious drink in my hand and a smile on my face. read more

Cafe Daisy is a new spot in downtown that opened up at The Residences at Bishop Place. They have a variety of coffees, teas, smoothies, and fresh pressed juices, along with simple food offerings (such as sandwiches/wraps, bagels, and croissants). I've been following them on Instagram for the last few weeks, and they seem to be slowly adding to their menu. I decided to try the sea salt caramel latte (iced) with soy and a K-toast. The latte was super good. Good espresso flavor and the sweetness was just right for me. This just may become my new go-to coffee spot in downtown. Some afternoons, you just need an extra kick of caffeine to get your work done haha. I got the small and regret it immediately...it's tiny and I want more already. The K-toast comes with the option of white, wheat, or honey oat bread and also comes with a bag of chips (chips is with lunch, looks like breakfast is just the sandwich). If you've never had K-toast before, it's a sandwich with ham, cheese, egg, shredded lettuce, cucumbers, and a mayonnaise-based sauce. It was perfectly toasted. I haven't been to S. Korea in 10 years, but knew of K-toast from videos. It was okay, but I wasn't a fan. The concept of cucumbers in the sandwich tasted funny to me, and it was just a little messy as my shredded lettuce kept falling out. I think it's worth trying though if you haven't had it before. But as for me, I'm looking forward to trying something else next time, maybe a wrap or some grilled cheese with tomato soup. And DEFINITELY another sea salt caramel latte. I took my food back to my office, but if you do decide to dine there, I want to point out that there are tables near the cafe and they seemed to be well spaced out for social distancing. read more

The girl taking our order (I believe her name was Jin) was very sweet and so patient with us as we navigated our way through the menu and changed our order haha As much as i LOVE croffles, the Chocolate, Strawberry Banana one that I got wasn't my cup of tea since it was tougher than the ones i've had previously and the addition of the whipped cream and ice cream made it hard to taste the actual croissant. i got the large (16oz) sea salt caramel latte since it was only $.25 cheaper than the small size, and I requested it hot so i could get the cute daisy design that I'd seen on Instagram. I liked that the coffee flavor wasn't too strong and the strong kick of saltiness blended with the sweet caramel. the bananas might've been a lil underripe for the PBJ smoothie because it was a little on the tart side, but i liked that unlike other peanut butter smoothies, it wasn't super thick and actually a drinkable consistency while still having a strong pb taste. Cute cafe in a nice condo located in Downtown Honolulu. They're actually right next to fort street mall and have several entrances to the restaurant. The only downside is Parking - it can be really tricky, but its in the same building and they provide validation for up to 2 hours for $2 which is ample time to grab a bite. There is a huge brown thing above the parking entrance right after the finance factor building. You'll need to stop by the "Valet" area and they'll tell you where to park your car. I came here twice in a week - the first on the weekend, so i parked on the street. They have a limited menu just for the weekend as well, so i only got to try the coffee and the croissant dessert. Both of which was good. The second attempt was on the weekday (which was the cause of my parking woes). I got to try the soup and sandwich combo this time. The pros - they're super dog friendly and they give them pupachinos! They also run promotions often, so it might be best to give them a follow on Instagram. The cons - definitely the downtown parking situations. The service was really good there, it's quite a shame it's out of the way. It'll mostly be geared towards the residents in the building or surrounding buildings, along with the business workers on the weekdays. read more

I've checked out Cafe Daisy multiple times with friends and by myself. My favorite was the earl gray milk tea with cheese foam. The added cheese foam costs extra which I don't mind. I like cheese foam with my milk tea. I've ordered a Cinnamon Apple Jam Croffle (waffled croissant) with vanilla ice cream & whipped cream, and Bacon & Spring Onion Cream Cheese Bagel. The bacon and spring onion cheese bagel was good. I like spring onion cream cheese and it's a simple good bagel. The croffle was alright. The apple jam on the croffle, cinnamon powder, with a vanilla ice cream is a good combination, but I really had to dig in with the plastic knife/fork. It was kind of hard to eat. I know a croissant has a harder texture but having the croffle easier to cut through would be more enjoyable. The service was great, the baristas were very nice. If you bring your laptop, this cafe isn't the spot to do your studies if you need to charge because you can't plug in your laptop. Overall, it's a pretty good cafe. I would come back. read more
