They had a good menu, with options for anyone's dietary needs. This is a 100% family centric business. I had read about their story on the website. Highly recommend you take a look. They bring in elements of this into their restaurant with theit kids names throughout the joint. Parking was easy enough, and it looks like they labeled the parking barriers with names of the family's kids. I ran into some of the owners as I waited for my order. They were decorating the back patio, and they have the kids up on the walls too. I walked in to make an order, And left 15 minutes later with everything I needed. It immediately felt very family friendly with high school kids working, family photos on the walls, and a calm but lively atmosphere. The menu is displayed on the wall and you order at the counter. We got two classic burgers with sweet potato fries and regular fries. I was definitely eyeing the Icee machine with four flavors and will have to try it next time!. The kitchen was quick, and the burgers were a hit. Not too dense, clean tasting, and a great portion. We also really enjoyed the fries. My only small wish is that the sweet potato fries came with a different dip. They were served with a jalapeño dip, and I kept craving more of an aioli style. I'd go with 3.5-stars on both. My favorite part of the meal were the garlic fries. We had one order of regular fries and one order of garlic, but I definitely wish we had just gotten two garlic. They tasted great, but I avoided the intense after taste that usually follows garlic fries, so these were really the best of both worlds. Oh and the fried pickles really hit the spot too. We hit up the arcade after we finished eating. To be honest, it was fun, but it's a really tight space in there. And loud, even with just a few kids. I visited Little Matt's on a Saturday night with my wife and our 19-month-old toddler, curious to see why it was named #1 Kid-Friendly Restaurant in the Nation by Yelp for 2025. The restaurant's story is touching. Founded by Bill and Cindy Lillard in memory of their son, Bobby, proceeds benefit Texas Children's Hospital and other local organizations. When we arrived, the restaurant was packed with families and kids of all ages. There's a small outdoor patio with four tables, a back patio with more seating, and inside you order everything at the counter before they bring it to your table. The staff, mostly younger workers, were friendly and playful with my son. Entertainment options are everywhere. There's a mini arcade room, iPad stations, a candy counter, and a photo booth. If you have young toddlers, they have high chairs available as well. [KIDS MENU] +Hamburger for $7.95 - Served with fruit and fries. My son enjoyed it all, and the fruit was grapes. - 5/5 [SALADS] +Caesar Salad for $11.95 - Very basic, with ranch dressing provided on the side. I would skip this. - 2/5 [BURGERS AND SANDWICHES] +Little Matt's Cheeseburger for $11.95 - Cooked medium with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion on a toasted bun, served with seasoned fries. The bathrooms are clean and youngins are free to roam around freely. Their claim to fame has been their burgers, which have garnered some acclaim both locally and nationally. They're hefty and plenty filling, but I tend to prefer my patties to be less well done and more on the rare side. The chips and queso + salsa are basic, but I appreciate the amount of chips provided, which is perfect for a group to share. The fries have a strangely salty and addictive quality to it, but I can't put my finger on why. If there was a lowlight, it was going to be for the pastas. The mac and cheese was soft boiled noodles with some cheese sauce and the penne in marina is really aimed at young children looking for a little sustenance before running around the place. The wait staff are all young folks and the management is very good about keeping things efficient and constantly going. To be honest, my husband and I were not enchiladas fan until we had the one from little Matt's. The chicken wrapped in a warm tortilla covered with delicious green enchilada sauce and cheesy goodness is so so good. Top that with some sour cream, salsa, and lettuce...perfection. Now we come here all the time just for this dish, and we also frequently order enchiladas from other places. Little Matt's has made us enchiladas converts! I also really enjoy the chicken tortilla soup on a cold day or when I'm feeling a little under the weather. I love that the soup is full of veggies (zucchini and yellow squash), and the broth is not overly salted. It's so homey and comforting, and comes in a huge gigantic bowl so you feel nice and satisfied at the end. We hosted our baby shower at the patio, and it was the best event venue ever! Our guests were families with kids, the restaurant is just perfect for everyone! The kids were able to run around the patio and the back garden area, or they would immerse themselves in the game room. The adults were able to chill at the picnic tables, with delicious food. The patio is breezy and comfortable, they have a huge fan out there. Literally everything we ordered from the menu is amazing, and the price is more than reasonable. Not only is the food amazing, but also everyone appreciates the varied options of desserts, from Icee to candy bars to ice cream, there's something for everyone! The owner is the kindest man ever!!! We are beyond grateful. He allowed us to come to the restaurant early to set up the decorations, gave us plenty of tables, helped us store our cake in the fridge and brought it out for us, allows us to bring and eat our cake at no extra charge, and allowed us to use their knife even. You order at the counter, pick your seats, and the food came out really quick. It was all delicious, I highly recommend the Thai chicken wrap, it's incredible! The place itself has a great outdoor section, and there's an arcade on the interior for the kids. It gets a little loud when there's an active game being played, but it just adds to the fun ambiance. Shout out to the owner, my son smashed the kids pizza and wanted more. When I went up to purchase the other one, he gave it to us on the house.
