    Fantastic Hamburger togo !!!
    Michael C.

I came here for a togo order and picked up a 5 oz Burger with brioche buns, patties not too smashed, tomatoes and pickles. Very delicious, fresh, juicy and good quality burger. The buns were moist, buttery and griddled some. The meat was very well seasoned, not too crispy in feel, moist and had no flaws. I don't usually like smash burgers, but this place and JLB on Stella Link absolutely nail it. I also liked that the beef had a unique seasoning as opposed to the same generic type most places have. Something different for a change. A good burger imo just needs tomatoes and either pickles or lettuce. Those toppings add some bite and cool refreshing vibes without masking the meat at all. If it passes, which this one did, it's an awesome burger. I was appreciative of the kitchen to make mine without smashing it much and eventually need to also try the hotdog here in the future as well.

Been here twice, but unfortunately both times were a let down. The burger patties were dry both times, and I thought the bun was also underwhelming. Besides that, not much else to a burger. You do get to customize it with many different toppings, diff buns, etc, but I probably won't be back.

I had to write a review just to share how amazing the customer service was. I always go to Burger Chan, but today I met Allen. You truly made my day. His expertise on the menu helped my boyfriend, who has had BurgerChan. I'll will be back next week for my next lunch. Thanks again, Allen for the great customer service and of course, Burger Chan for the great food.

Place has a cool vibe intitally, you stand in line and while you're in line you get a paper and a paper clip and select all the items you'd like. They'll give you a buzzer after you go to the cashier/pay/order and you wait til your buzzer rings and bam you grab your food. I really really really wanted to LOVE this place, but in all honesty it was just okay. I think we spent a little over $20 for 1 burger, side, and refillable soda. Burger was just ok. The camarlized onions were good, but it wasn't anything I'd go out of my way to this side of town for. Tater tots were the highlight. Good kick (got spicy) and very crispy. I did try my friends side which were waffle fries, regular fries, and cheese curds and definitely the tater tots were the best. All other sides you couldn't honestly skip cause to me they weren't good at all. Soggy even. On the wall they have a daily puzzle which says you can get a prize. You had to solve the math problem and show your work. My husband was excited since he enjoys math, did it, showed the cashier and they looked so annoyed (maybe cause they were busy) and the prize is just this little candy. It was pretty disappointing. Overall I didn't enjoy my experience.

Checked out Burger Chan for the first time, and it was such a fun experience! This is a true build-your-own burger spot, and you get to customize everything--from the bun all the way down to the sauces. My favorite part was definitely the toppings and sauce options. They have an Asian twist that really sets them apart from your typical burger joint and makes the whole menu feel creative and unique. We also tried a couple of fry options--both the sweet potato fries and the regular fries were hits. Crispy, flavorful, and perfect sides to the burgers. Overall, this is a super fun spot with quality food and tons of customization. There is a good amount of seating and it is family friendly. Their service was relatively quick as well. If you're into building your perfect burger or just want something a little different, Burger Chan is definitely worth a visit!

A great burger joint in a very unassuming plaza in the heart of Galleria! Im not a huge burger person but wow these burgers blew me away When you first enter, theres a wall of clipboard that you can use to customized your buger. I personally got 2 smash patties with the sourdough bun. Ive never had a burger with sourdough buns before and I really like that it has a chew to it The burger itself was super juicy and flavorful and they have a variety of sauces that you can add to your burger. I went with the sambal mayo and it was a good spice level Highly recommend! This has been one of my favorite burgers

I didn't know a fast food like burgers can be so fast casual yet so creative! It suggests in their name "Chan" like a cuteness and playful tone it's very catchy when you say out loud. Upon entering, you get greeted by the staffs, and there is a wall of clipboards which you will actually customize your burger! They offer beef, chicken, hot dog, fish, and falafel. Fish was all sold out when I got there around Saturday evening so it must be so popular there. I would have to go back to try that. It's a unique fun experience to build your own dream burger, and with their high quality fresh grounded patties and variety of house made sauces, my burger turned out just exactly how I wanted. Also the size of my burger is huge! I would highly recommend the scallion aioli, it's creamier and more flavor than original ranch, because it has a slight tang kick, I ordered on the side so I can dip my fries in it too. I also tried the sambal mayo, it's not spicy at all, would taste better than normal mayo on the burger in my opinion. They also have a variety of sides, I got the curly fries and sweet potato fries, the classics, so crunchy.

Fantastic little restaurant where whatever you order will probably be good. For me, I love the sourdough bun, Swiss cheeseburger with kimchi soy sauce glaze and a fried egg. This is probably my favorite burger in Houston now, and I've returned for the exact same burger, and it was just as good. Fries are good too! Staff are friendly, and there's a great selection of indoor and outdoor seating. What a good burger joint!

Burgers are big.. biggest ones out of the places I've been lately. U have to e options of a sourdough bun or a brioche bun. I spent about $17 for my burger and fries. You will pay extra for toppings like cheese, bacon, avocado etc. Nice burger and if I'm around the way comeback.

10/10 food service ambiance love this spot. I'll be back for more! A/C didn't work last time I went but it's Houston, oh well

I Love this place, they make delicious burgers and have a super customizable menu for all the people that go to in n out and customize everything on their burger. It can definitely be overwhelming but I def recommend getting the brioche w/ 2x2oz patties w pepper jack (it's the perfect ratio of bun, cheese, and meat in my opinion) with your choice of toppings you literally cannot go wrong. Side note, their regular fries are better than the curly fries

I was super excited to try the much-hyped burger-chan, especially as a smashburger lover! The customizable menu and super fast service made the experience streamlined and easy. They also had chicken burgers, hot dogs, and fish as other meal options. I did the smaller patty option, which once smashed is quite literally paper-thin; I'd definitely recommend getting a double if this is your preference. Even with the double, the beef patties weren't very noticeable, but as someone who doesn't like burgers as much this was okay with me. The sweet sourdough bread was delicious, it definitely had a soft sweet note to it! For toppings I did pepper jack cheese, sautéed mushrooms (extra, but sooo worth it), lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pickled jalapeño (some are super spicy so be careful!!), and shallot aioli (amazing, definitely elevated the burger). The amount of topping options is insane! However, the burger all together, while delicious, didn't quite wow me. The flavors weren't quite as impressive as I'd imagined for all the hype I've heard. That was the only factor that kept it from five stars. The interior is decorated with anime style art of restaurants and burger characters, which made it a fun atmosphere! I love the Asian influence on the place. Ultimately I'd definitely come back, I enjoyed it!

4.4/5. Came in on a late Friday evening with a couple coworkers. The ordering system is easy with clipboards on the walls and QR codes for instructions. I got a 2x2oz patty burger with the scallion aioli and sweet sourdough and the curly fries, spam-chi style. I also got a black sesame milkshake, for a total of about $25. The biggest complaint was that the restaurant was cloyingly hot and humid, almost equivalent to temperature to the Houston summer outside. The burger is absolutely delicious. Juicy, tender, great flavor. The sweet sourdough is thick but compliments the burger well. The sauce is a unique taste. The curly fries are crispy and the spam and kimchi on top add a nice mix of spice and salt. The black sesame milkshake was not bad. It starts initially bland and then the black sesame flavor starts to become more prominent as you drink it, until it becomes nearly overpowering by the time you finish it. Not my favorite but I would definitely love to try their other milkshakes. Definitely a great burger place and I can see why it makes the top of the burger list. Definitely will need to try it again the next time I'm craving a burger!

I did a mobile order so there was limited interaction with staff so I can't comment too much on the service. Definitely nothing negative to describe. The restaurant itself is fairly spacious, clean, a good amount of seating, with clean restrooms. The only downside for this location is the tight parking. You will often show up with no spots open, so you may need to sit around for a few minutes until one opens up. Just circle the lot a few times and look for people walking to their cars. Just don't exit the actual parking lot onto Chimney Rock or San Felipe because you need to do all these crazy u-turns to get back into the lot. Enjoy!

Credence -- Where Live Fire Becomes Language and Houston Becomes Art…read more Credence isn't just a restaurant; it's a declaration written in flame. The moment you step inside, the room opens like a long exhale -- wide, airy, and confident, anchored by an open kitchen that glows with the kind of live fire that doesn't simply cook food but tells stories. This is Houston hospitality raised to its highest register, the kind that once earned a Michelin Star for service and still moves with the quiet pride of a place that knows exactly what it's doing. Chef Levi Goode's first brick‑and‑mortar feels like a culmination -- a fifth‑generation Texan with classical training finally building a home where both halves of his identity can stretch their legs. You taste the lineage in the smoke, the discipline in the technique, and the ambition in the menu, which reads like a love letter to Gulf waters, ranch land, and the elemental power of fire. Start with the seafood tower if you want to understand Credence's worldview: fresh, cold, towering abundance arranged with the precision of someone who respects the ocean as much as the plate. The smoked tuna dip is a quiet masterpiece -- silky, savory, and carrying a whisper of smoke that feels like a signature. But the deviled crab? That's where the kitchen shows off. The crab arrives tossed in a smoky tomato butter that clings to every fold, every shred, every hidden corner. Then comes the monkey bread -- warm, soft, pull‑apart temptation -- the kind of bread that makes you forget your manners and commit fully to the moment. But the flame is the true narrator here. It guides the entrées, sets the rhythm, and crowns the showpieces. The whole duck is a spectacle, a celebration, a feast meant for people who appreciate craft and aren't afraid of abundance. It arrives whole (no head), lacquered and glistening, with two legs transformed into confit jewels -- tender, rich, and decadent enough to make you pause mid‑bite. This is not a solo mission; bring a friend or two unless you plan to make a memory out of leftovers. If beef is your compass, the prime dry‑aged New York strip is a study in restraint and precision. Charred edges, deep flavor, and that unmistakable live‑fire signature that makes you wonder why you ever settled for anything cooked on a quiet grill. Dessert at Credence is not an afterthought -- it's a finale. The brown butter Bundt cake arrives warm and fragrant, crowned with chantilly cream that melts into every ridge. It's sized for a crowd, but sharing becomes a philosophical dilemma. Credence is not cheap, but it is honest. Every dollar is accounted for in intention, detail, and execution. This is Houston -- bold, generous, and unafraid -- translated into food, flame, and service. A restaurant that honors the land, the lineage, and the craft, all at once.

If you enjoy decadent food, Credence is the spot! The interior is refined but still welcoming and…read morelively with Southern charm. Service was amazing-- we loved our waiter who was a combination of polite, funny, and knowledgeable, and everyone gave us a smile. All the dishes were beautifully presented and flavorful but definitely on the heavier side. - Beet salad (5/5)-- wow, never had a beet salad like this one before! So much flavor with a tanginess from vinegar sweetened by the blueberries and beets. The beets didn't taste very earthy (aka like dirt) compared to most beet salad. This was really well executed :) - Caesar salad (3.5/5)-- Credence's spin on Caesar, which according to my Caesar salad pro diner, didn't really taste like Caesar salad. Also very tangy and tart but the pro still enjoyed it as a salad dish. - Roasted cabbage (4/5)-- big fan of the way they roasted this, perfect tenderness without being cabbage mush! Definitely a heavy dish, especially for a vegetable option, as it was swimming in a butter cream sauce that started to congeal as it cooled off. Would choose this more as an indulgent appetizer rather than a healthy veggie option. I wonder if one could ask for the sauce on the side... - Tuna tostada (3.5/5)-- if you like strong flavors, this one packs a punch. The gochujang aioli beneath the tuna is really concentrated, making it difficult to taste the actual tuna. There's a bit of heat but thankfully I wouldn't say it was spicy. Fun to try. The tostada itself was very dense and almost a bit bread-y versus a crispy chip texture. - Crab fried rice (4/5)-- comes with lobster foam that is mixed table side and a generous amount of crabmeat lumps. The rice actually had a nice texture without being too... grainy / individualized, but it was too salty for me. - Akaushi Wagyu beef (4.5/5)-- loved the texture which was tender but with some chew (was expecting more of a melt-in-the-mouth texture though) and the veggies that it came with. It was heavily salted, too much so for me. Would've been perfect with less salt since there's already a chimichurri sauce with it. - Peanut butter tart (4.5/5)-- peanut butter lovers rejoice! The chocolate filling was rich, thick, and sweet which was complemented nicely with the whipped cream (not sweet at all). The peanut flavor really shined. The crust didn't have much of a taste by itself and was sandy in texture, not sure if on purpose or over-baked and dried out. Either way, the tart looked impressive when it arrived and was delectable-- my favorite bite of the night! Overall a nice experience! Although there was a mess up and the rest of our two salads and crab rice wasn't packed with our other food to take home; I was pretty sad about that since it was quite a bit of food (and $$). I might return for that peanut butter tart, but everything else was too heavy and too salty for me. I'm personally not a huge butter fan, but if you are, definitely make a reservation for a special occasion or date!

The interior has an industrial vibe, with the high ceilings and overhead fixtures, but as converted into a solid dining space. The large tilted mirrors in the main area are reminiscent of the now defunct Helen's (#3) and makes for a fun (or perhaps distracting) visual. The spacious layout allows breathing room for all kinds of groups. Service has been good overall, and prompt throughout every visit. The American bistro inspired menu has a decent amount of variety that spans from brunch to a tasty weeknight dinner and a drink. Their starters have a variety of tasty bites that include the white truffle eggs, wicked wings, prosciutto-melon burrata, Mama Pauley's meatballs, and a very addicting chipotle pimento cheese dip. While I appreciate the vegan-friendly hippie chickpea croquettes, it needed just a bit more seasoning. Their bacon double cheeseburger has been deemed "insta-famous" and it certainly didn't disappoint. It's juicy, a little messy, but a lot delicious. It paired well with their large cut fries (consider upgrading to the truffle fries), but the house made chips are also a good light bite. Their salads are equally fabulous from their classic caesar to a hearty cobb salad. I wasn't as impressed with the crunchy Asian salad, but thought their faro salad was a thumbs up. Understandably, the priciest meals are some of their grilled and house specialty meals, such as a prime tenderloin filet ($42), Mediterranean roasted redfish ($36), twelve hour ribs ($29), and rosemary-lemon chicken ($29), all of which are solid. I feel the buttermilk chicken tender platter ($19) is really meant for children, but is great for any tender lover in the bunch. The only suggestion is if you don't like any pink on your hamburger. Make sure you tell them you want it done all the way! It turns out perfect and isn't dry.A great place to take kids and they have a great kids menu with lots of choices. I really haven't had anything that was awful there. We live in the area and passed by this spot so many times without even knowing The exterior is appealing and eye catching. The whole section of restaurants has a trendy and family friendly vibe. It would be the perfect spot to enjoy some outdoor bites and libations if not for the insufferable weather we have most of the year, but luckily, the interior is just as lovely. It's immaculate, well decorated, and deceptively spacious. There's plenty of booths, tables, and there's even a fully stocked bar and takeaway area The menu offers a variety of delicacies from a french dip, to pecan crusted chicken, to enchiladas. They have lovely handcrafted cocktails to choose from - some classic cocktails and some signature concoctions Everything tasted and looked great. The pecan chicken was more sweet than I expected, but still good. All of the sides were great. The cocktails looked great and tasted good. Also, as I was taking photos of the food our server was behind me and I apologized and they said "phone eats first," and I hope that was only meant in jest and not throwing shade lol Some tips: These plates aren't the most shareable, but if in a group I would consider ordering a variety of entrees and sides and trying each others meals If you're feeling something sweet after your meal, consider walking next door to Milk + Sugar. They're one of my favorite West Houston ice cream parlors Cheers!!
