Ordered a large Diet Coke at the drive thru. Paid the 1.90 - picked up the soda and drove away and realized there was no ice. Drove back around and waited for a cup of ice which the person had to scoop from out of the top of the machine. Ok - so machine is jacked up not a big deal. Drove away and took a sip of the soda I put the ice in - completely grossly flat. No carbonation. If your machine isn't working - don't sell room temp flat soda. I went thru the drive-thru for a Large chocolate shake. It cost $4.85. While driving away, I took a sip. Ugh, it was not cold and it tasted like liquid chocolate milk. I was unable to turn around on Rte 47 to return it. What a waste of money. Almost $5 for a lousy room temperature chocolate milk. It was not cold and should not have been served or sold. Over the past year this McDonald's has been awful, consistently getting my order wrong, rude customer service, and the food isn't as good as all the other locations. I heard about how McDonald's is getting harder on franchisees and how they are running the businesses, I know that this one was recently bought out buy a different family than before, and I have noticed that they have done horrible since then. Some of these young adults need to be trained on customer service as well, all around rude. I hope this McDonald's gets turned around, the one further down 47 closer to 90 is 10 times better and much better food and customer service. I don't eat at McDonald's often, but I had a taste for a Quarter Pounder before the long drive home. The restaurant was crowded on a Sunday afternoon. In spite of a long drive-thru line, it moved along quickly. I don't ask for much from a fast food restaurant, but getting my two item order correct is important. I ordered a Quarter Pounder with cheese and a small fry. That's what I paid for and that's what it said on my receipt. Why was I given a chicken sandwich and a fry? Although this is not the best McDonalds out there, I find whenever I need a last resort, this McDonalds is my option. There may be long waits, or a bit of confusion while ordering, but all and all, at the end of the day, if you order McDelivery from this McDonalds, you will generally have some nice meals. I just moved to Huntley 6 months ago. I have never been to a McDonald's that consistently messes up my orders. When I ask for a large "whatever" I never get a large, it seems to always end up being a medium. I've gotten to the point where I'm scared to tell them they gave me the wrong sizes (or whatever) because I Think its the guy in the drive through messing everything up! When I order through the drive through(which is normally at night between 7-10) one of the kids that works there rushes you through the order like there's some emergency :"is that it?!" no, I also need....."is that it!?"....no I would also like... "is that it, is that it, is that it???!!!". I know you are just saying what McDonald's may have asked you to say, but can you give me a moment to actually spit out my order to you??? lol. Is there a fire in there that you need to tend to??... there is no one in line behind me...whats the freaking rush!? You speak like you are being bothered by the customer. Here, this is what I hear when you say "is that it!!??"...."is that it, you annoying customer?? Hurry up!!! I don' t want to deal with you". just give people a moment to speak and ask if" that's it" a little nicer, I promise people will like it =) and slowing down things might get all the orders done correctly! listen, I'm not one of those unusually picky people. I don't normally complain, but c-mon! All I want are my Salty fries in a LARGE size....is that so hard?? Normally everyone that works there is pleasant and courteous. Really bad service. They are slow, and if you don't check your order before you leave, you are guaranteed to have something wrong. Last time I ordered a medium fry. They charged me for a large and gave me a small. And one of our wraps was missing. I have contacted McDonald's corporate several times regarding this location, but it hasn't improved. We are a busy family and yet try not to go to this location ever. It has gotten a little better with the second one south on 47 but still check your order before you pull away and count all the food and ensure you have straws and napkins. $30 order and we were missing food. One sandwich wasn't cooked properly or had something wrong with it and hubby spit it out the window. Poor at best. Calling them does nothing. I frequent this location almost daily... I am a bilingual English/Spanish speaking male. I was in your establishment today in the early morning when I witness/overheard 3 Hispanic women working in the front kitchen/counter area who were speaking rudely about one of the employee who was working in the drive up. They were calling her a 'gringa' indicating she doesn't know what she is doing. There were other Spanish swear words thrown around during this conversation. Obviously the lady working the drive-up was a non-Spanish speaking individual. I will write this review; however, if I ever hear anything derogatory, racist, I will confront the manager and those individuals speaking out of line... I will also bring it to the attention of the English speaking person whom they are talking about. Additionally, I will contact the franchise owner as well as the Corporate Offices! I will then let everyone I know not to frequent this McDonalds as there are racist/prejudice people working at this location. I will be coming to this location every morning and will be attentively listening to the conversations of the Spanish employees to ensure they are not speaking out of line....
