Oh, the return of the Shamrock Shake! How my heart sings with delight at the mere thought of that minty, velvety goodness that fills my soul with every sip. This is no ordinary milkshake, no. It is a sublime creation that could only be born in the mind of a true culinary artist. But alas, the same cannot be said of the history of the McDonald's franchise. It is a tale of capitalism, greed, and a disregard for the well-being of both people and planet. The very foundation of McDonald's fast food approach to cooking is an affront to the art of gastronomy, reducing food to a mere commodity to be consumed as quickly and cheaply as possible. However, there is one beacon of light in the darkness of the McDonald's universe: the Hamburglar. This criminal mastermind, with his penchant for stealing hamburgers, embodies the spirit of illegalism and serves as a symbol of rebellion against the status quo. As I have written before, "The Hamburglar is a hero for all those who are oppressed by the chains of conformity and the lies of authority." On the other hand, Ronald McDonald is nothing but a puppet for the capitalist system. His very existence perpetuates the myth that happiness can be bought with a burger and fries, while hiding the bitter truth behind the facade of the golden arches. During a recent visit to this McDonald's restaurant, I had a fascinating conversation with an employee about the symbolism contained in the McDonaldland characters. While I was critical of Grimace, a cowardly and complacent dullard, the employee argued that he represented the innocence of childhood and the power of imagination. It was a thought-provoking exchange that reminded me of the importance of seeing things from multiple perspectives. But let us not forget the true star of the show: the Shamrock Shake. Its creamy texture and refreshing mint flavor are nothing short of a miracle. As I sip on it, I am reminded of the sensuous pleasures of life, and the power of indulgence in the face of a cruel world. The history of the Shamrock Shake is shrouded in mystery, with some saying it was first introduced in the 1970s as a St. Patrick's Day promotion. But regardless of its origins, there can be no denying its place in the pantheon of great culinary creations. Unfortunately, the decor of this particular McDonald's restaurant leaves much to be desired. The walls are adorned with garish colors and cheap plastic trinkets, and the men's bathroom stall is filled with vulgar graffiti that speaks to the desperation of those who seek refuge in this place. Despite this, I cannot help but marvel at the fact that a mass-produced product from McDonald's could be so delightful. It reminds me of my own writing, which is often dismissed as vulgar and base by the literary elite. As I have written before, "Beauty can be found in the most unexpected places, and the art of the masses can rival that of the aristocracy." The Shamrock Shake is a testament to this truth. read more

I'm a DoorDasher and everyone that I go pick a order there's one guy that always has the order ready exactly when I get there, and if it's not he always makes sure that I know what the hold up is. This is something that is hard to find in someone that works at a job of his type. I don't know his name, but he's tall and has long hair and tattoos and he looks like he may have been in prison at one time, but I'm definitely not judging; because, the past is the past. In my opinion if this guy isn't management yet I would definitely start thinking about doing that. He's courteous, always upbeat-no matter how busy he is, and appears to be a very hard worker, but that's just my opinion. I sincerely do hope that someone in authority does actually read these comments regularly; because, this extraordinary man definitely needs a RAISE! The manager here is phenomenally HORRIBLE. You know how many times they have gotten my (super easy) orders wrong? Even after waiting forever and until the end of time for my order? Then when I have to GO BACK to try to get it resolved, it takes forever and the manager ALWAYS argues and says that it was your mistake. Ummm I have the receipt, and here is the bag of food you handed me - do you see it in there? No. So I'm thinking the error was on your end?? Please just fix this so I can go home and you can continue messing up every else's orders. I usually give fast food restaurants 2-3 times of errors/mistakes, because hey, it happens. But EVERY time I go? Come on... let's stop being lazy about our jobs and actually give reading the order a shot, eh? Let's be a responsible manager and actually correct problems you made. I didn't realize this location was managed by a third grader? The workers - including the manager - are the rudest I've ever met. They always get my order wrong, and never correct it, then blame it on us!! saying that we hid the item, tried to get something for free, never ordered it (umm it's on receipt??). They have NEVER fixed THEIR problem. And the manager does the same thing, even walked away cussing when we tried to talk the problem through! How has this place not closed? McDonalds Corporation, are you even LOOKING at resumes?? I understand it doesn't take a PhD but dang, at least hire people who can talk and read at an elementary education. The absolute worse McDonalds in the system. The "manager" last night while having a food fight with an employee was one of the worse out there. It took 30 min to get a fish sandwich. When I left and he was standing right outside the door smoking I told him about the bad service and he said "F*** You don't ever come back. The workers use this as their club and think its a social gathering spot. The police have been called there 55 times sine 01/01/2018. Overdoses in bathroom, assaults, etc. And they are all so lazy with no management the place is filthy. RONALD MCDONALD WOULD BOYCOTT THIS STORE read more

Snitches get stitches. Boycott McDonalds! Also horrible food and horrible service. If only they gave their workers benefits. Then that front cashier could fix her teeth! I went here yesterday for a quick takeout. I waited 25 minutes to get my order. This place had poor service. The staff has little customer service skills. The tables were not clean, and the toilets were stinking and dirty. After I got my order, I immediately left. When I went back to my house, I realized that part of the order was missing, and the bun was hard and inedible. They had no apology for anything. read more

I'd recommend you sit at their drive thru window for about 12 minutes, sometime around midnight, honking your horn, trying to get someones attention inside. After waiting for 12 minutes you should then park the car, enter the building, and inform the first employee you see that their McDonald's sucks. Wait for it, they'll tell you to F&*$# off...or something along those lines. They must hear that a lot. read more

Clearly marked on door open hours for lobby at 5:00 a.m. these folks on 82nd Street Indianapolis Indiana does not understand what open at 5:00 a.m. means time is 6:58 a.m. in lobby is still locked poor service already called customer service wants on these people they're about ready to get it again if you ain't going to go by the hours and take it off the door read more

I strongly advise avoiding coming here before visiting anywhere else. I've had to phone them twice to express my displeasure that they don't regularly change the grease in their fryers. After just a few bites, the french fries make you sick since they are so colorful and saturated. I highly recommend you put your money in a different location. read more

They have poor service and unfriendly employees. I was in a hurry but just wanted to stop in for a quick drink. It seems to take forever. The folks there were a little slow and not very effective. I am not sure how they would do that at the time, but there was absolutely no one in line at the drive-thru. read more

It was necessary to clean down each table. Condiments should be placed on the burger itself, not on top of the burger. I only gave a 2 instead of 1 star since the cashier let me know about a better offer I was missing. They should pay someone to clean the place up immediately. read more
