Since when does a double quarter pounder with cheese come with tomatoes, lettuce, mayo and mustard? You know it would be different if I was eating in the restaurant and could've brought it up to the counter, but I went through the drive-through and drove miles away to the job site to my surprise. When the nephew wants nuggets from "AtDonalds," you must abide. Yes he refers to McDonald's as "AtDonalds." I remember being that young and thinking that McDonald's was the pinnacle of dining out, I am fairly sure that he will probably outgrow this once he grows up. You might as well say that this McDonald's is in the downtown Johnstown area right next to the elevated highway. It is always busy, but they seem to be able to get a grip on that and keep the people moving. The drive thru appears to be busier than the inside which makes sense as this is like a last stop before heading out of the downtown area. We partook in the drive thru as most people did that day. There was a minimal wait and the line kept moving smoothly. Placed our order, pulled around, paid and off we went. Surprisingly the order was correct and my nephew was delighted that I also got fries with the nuggets and his sacred Ranch Dressing. I'm still not a McDonald's fan, but like I said when the nephew wants it, you get it. I had some of the fries and I have to say they were nice and fresh, hot like they just came out of the oil. Manager with the red hair just left her cashier out to dry on her own. No support whatsoever. I felt bad for her team I waited 20 mins for ONE COFFEE. When I asked the manager about it 15 mins in- after receiving notification it was ready-manager with bright red hair looked at me and walked away, completely ignoring me. This is my neighborhood McDonalds, close enough to my current home to be able to walk there. I have been there dozens of times, always as dine-in, though in 2020-2021 I used doordash to get it delivered. My dine-in experiences are almost always very positive. The dining room was recently renovated. There are 2-3 menu kiosks and well as 2 registers behind the counter. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. Prices are EXCELLENT. Just as important: there are healthy options on the menu with sugar-free packets (Equal and Splenda) located at the beverage station. They recently added coke zero to the beverage options. There is also unsweetened tea. Definitely friendly to people on sugar or carb restricted diets. You can even order sandwiches without the bun without any difficulty or confusion. They are really great about this. Dining room is very accessible to wheelchairs. Both dining room and restrooms are extremely clean. This location is located near the downtown Johnstown portions of Conemaugh Medical Center and is very friendly and accommodating to health-conscious customers and those with special needs. If you want a great dine-in McDonalds experience, this is one of the best. read more

Everytime you come through their drive through expect to wait 15-20 min no matter if you order a drink or just fries I waste more gas waiting at the rail they park you at to trick the timer on drive thrus to corporate i could understand if busy but they aren't sometimes and it still happens they are the only drive through near downtown Johnstown so they take advantage knowing ppl might still need to go back I suggest if you have somewhere important to be in a timely fashion don't stop there also fries are never fresh so I don't understand the 15 min waits everytime read more

They constantly mess up my orders at the drive-thru. I get probably the easiest thing to make on the menu (plain cheeseburger) and either it comes with condiments after specifically asking for it plain or it will come with half of the cheese hanging off the side and barely on the burger. Friend of mine once ordered a double cheeseburger before a hockey game since he skipped dinner and needed something quick to eat before going in goal. They forgot the cheese AND the burgers. He got a sandwich with toppings. Ok, that happens on occasion. Nobody is perfect, which I'll even agree with that assessment. But when he took it in to the lady at the register, she grabbed the manager who then asked "well what do you want me to do with it?" It's not rocket science; either fix it or make a new one. I forget what his exact words were, but it was something along the lines of "I can't believe you're asking me what to do with it" or "why are you asking me what to do with it?" Nothing profane was said, but the level of confusion for what should have been a replacement burger was amazing. read more

Like other places unworthy of any stars the only reason this particular establishment is even getting one is because I cannot give them ZERO stars. The food here is horrendous and completely unsuitable for consumption. I gave them three chances to give me a suitable order before writing this review, and on each visit not only did they completely annihilate my entire order but what they gave me I wouldn't have even fed to my dog. And I have a large breed dog that will consume just about anything put in front of him. So if you just so happen to be approaching this place on your way to somewhere else, do yourself a favor and just keep driving and go to Arby's, or Burger King, or just pick up some food off the ground and eat it because I guarantee it would be better than anything they will give you read more

This place is a mess. Every time I go here they have 4 or more cars parked waiting for food. They never get my order right. ex... I just ordered a spicey chicken no pickle add onion and got pickles and no onions my large fry was half cooked and my caramel iced coffee was mostly creamer. McDonald's will hand out burgers to any homeless person who walks into their store during the hours of 10am-8pm. They distribute anywhere from 50-100 burgers a day. Workers on the night shift are allowed to leave an hour early from their shift to deliver leftover fries and leftover burgers. The workers are being paid to drive to shelters as part of their shift. This allows for local homeless shelters to deliver food to those who are in need every night. read more

I'm pretty easy to please and generally very lenient so as much as I'd really like to say that this location deserves one star I just can't, I had to rate them to post this review. I'm revoking the star now. Last time I went thru their drive thru I ordered my dad's sandwich without mayo. He's not a picky guy but the one thing that he just won't budge on is mayo. Something told me to check the order before I left (probably them consistently screwing up but I digress) so I pulled into a parking space and wouldn't you know it! Slip says without mayo and it's slathered on there. I went in and asked for the manager and he wasn't too thrilled to have to actually talk to a customer. I told him the issue and after berating his employees said that he'd personally make the sandwich himself. He comes back with a new sandwich and stupid me for thinking that he was smart enough to get it right went back to the car. My dad opens it up and FREAKING MAYO! I had an are you serious right now attitude when I went in for the second time. I said "what is the deal, it's not complicated. I'm not even asking you to add something! I just want you to refrain from putting it on in the first place!" I just laid the damn thing on the counter and left before I needed bail money. Once I ordered a McChicken sandwich. It's literally a chicken patty on a darn bun. Get to work, and they forgot the chicken! I mean I guess that I should consider myself lucky that they got my request to put only ketchup on it right. I bet it would have tasted pretty good if the chicken was there too. I never got to find out. It gets better though! Tonight on the way to work I stopped their simply based on their location and my graveyard shift that I'd spend hungry if I didn't grab something. I ordered chicken nuggets, fries, and a large Coke. I got the whole way to work and open the bag to find my fries missing. So basically I just paid seven dollars for chicken nuggets and a dollar drink. I called just to let management know that they're slacking and the response I got was "I just got here so I don't know about that but I'll tell the manager that was here before me" Um, ok. but no we'll make sure you get fries at your next visit or I'm sorry that happened, or even we will try to do better next time? Third time is a charm. I will be dying from starvation and never spend one more cent at this location. I'm just done. Three major screw-ups is enough. First of all the amount of time I waited for my food was insane! But I come to this McDonald's damn near every day for an iced coffee today I order chicken nuggets fries and an iced coffee I got rang up for nuggets and an iced latte after waiting all that time I was already annoyed so when I realized that they gave me the wrong drink I threw it in the trash when I went back in to talk to them she refused to give me the fries until I paid for the new iced coffee which was still wrong it's a shame that these people want 15 an hour and yet can't even get your order right smh!
