Typical McDonald's. Long lines most of the day since it's right off of the highway which is convenient. Hit or miss on the fresh fries. They rarely mess up your order unless you do Postmates or another delivery service. Pretty friendly staff members. In 2018 I told myself that I need to stop eating here and I've stick to it. However I was on my way home and starving from not eating all day so I got a medium fry. No lie, they appeared to either be reheated or cooked in old grease. I had to return an order on 11-23-24 @ approximately 6:45 pm because they accidentally, I thought messed it up. However, not long after I finished the meal I became sick and was forced to regurgitate. I believe that they tampered with my food in retaliation for my returning the food. Even though I was extremely polite, because I didn't want them to do anything weird to my food. I know some people are just insane and no matter how polite you are they will still hurt you. I was very, very polite. I normally don't return food. But I had only had one wrong order from this location before and I go there all of the time. And that was an extremely long time ago and I never complained about it or returned it. I just threw it away. So, I thought it would be safe to take the food back and get it exchanged. Huge mistake. I threw up everything including blood. If I thought it through I should have saved some of the sputum so I could file a police report. I got two Dr. Peppers, but I didn't know until I got home and thought, well shoot, no big deal, I will just go get a Diet Coke. I ordered a new Diet Coke, got a Coke. My wife went in and said "Hey, this is supposed to be Diet Coke, could I switch it?" to which she was responded to with "Sure! No problem." She brings the new drink, it was Coke. Horrible experience at this location. They seem to be seriously missing a focus/priority on taking care of customers or wanting the store to be profitable. Didn't seem like anyone cared. Tonight was very frustrating and wasted about 25 minutes of our lives. We were in line in the drive-through well ahead of closing time. It was moving super slowly! (I don't think I've ever seen a drive-through at McDonald's move so slowly.) We were patient, and finally got up to where we could order, pulling up as the car in front of us pulled forward. It was still before closing time. No one came on the speaker. We waited more than 5 minutes. The car in front of us still hadn't moved any further forward. Still no one came on the speaker, and no lights were turned out or anyone saying they were closing. (We were essentially stuck between cars there for about 10 minutes after we got to the order speaker.) When the car ahead of us finally pulled forward around the corner, we pulled around and knocked on the pay window once we got to it. She said they closed, but she would get the manager. They knew that we and other cars had been waiting for some time, but were entirely unconcerned and just didn't care. The manager just said sorry we're closed and we don't have any food to serve you. Meanwhile numerous cars that had been waiting behind us for quite a while began pulling away. This whole thing took about 25 minutes. What an incredible disrespect and lack of service to customers! This McDonald's is always busy for the wrong reasons. Several times during the morning hours (7am), the drive through line as been wrapped around the building. I have had to wait 20 minutes or more before. On the rare occasion I decide to go inside thinking it would be faster, I'm met with a long line inside and no one taking orders. I have never been to a McDonald's who literally has no one working the counter. It wouldn't be that bad if the food was hot when you got it or even correct for that matter. One time I was given a burger with no patty! Save yourself some time and go to a different location!! read more

Went to get breakfast - arrived at 10:49am. I sat in 1 of 2 drive thru lanes with just 1 car ahead of me for over 10 minutes before the car ahead of me was even asked for their order. At the same time, 4-5 cars in the 2nd drive thru lane had their order taken and moved up. When the car in front of me was finally asked for their order (after breakfast menu had changed over), she explained she had been waiting for over 12 minutes and wanted to order breakfast; the drive thru operator eventually allowed her to order breakfast. When it was my turn, I explained the same thing and was initially told "we're no longer serving breakfast"... so I explained again that I had been waiting for over 15 minutes now but didn't get a reply. The other drive thru lane continued to have their orders taken (2 cars moved up, and a 3rd placing order). I called and tried to explain but was told "you can't get breakfast, it's too late" - no attempt to address the way drive thru orders were being taking or to understand or apologize for the situation. I finally found an opening, exited the drive thru and got breakfast somewhere else. I understand it gets busy and hectic but what I don't understand is why I was waiting in a lane with just 2 cars for over 15 minutes while the 2nd lane kept moving and being served. There was not a way for me to switch lanes, or I would have done so. Arriving 15 minutes before breakfast is over and only having 1 car in front of me - should have been more than enough time to get both cars' breakfast orders taken. Unfortunately this seems to be a pattern at this location - for whatever reason they have one lane (not the same one every time) that moves as expected while the other lane just sits there. read more

I love McDonald's mostly for their fries and McFlurry. I myself used to be a manager at McDonald's and I find this location to be extremely bad. The service, their attitude, the food not being fresh. It's horrible. Many times I have to go back in and ask for fresh fries, and even had to tell the woman who did my McFlurry that you don't just fill up the cup and put Oreos on top. There is literally a machine that mixes the Oreos for you and I had to tell her to do it again and add more Oreos since there was only a sprinkle on top. They never fill the fries either because they don't open the box which is retarded so why do they have the box open all the way if they don't want it to and fill that up? McDonald's is a multi billionaire business. It's beyond ridiculous. Corporate or someone needs to come to this place and put everyone in their place. This is one of the best McDonald's in the Grandview area! It has wifi, it's clean, and the service is friendly and efficient. The only thing keeping them from getting a perfect 5-star rating is that there are only a few seats with power-outlets. I know McDonald's isn't really a cafe, but, I like to "office" out of this location and need access to power for my computer. read more

Told them what was going on and they gave me a cup right away so I could take a splash of regular soda to her. I did just that. This location's drive-thru is typically very slow. Some of the employees working nights are curt, rude and lazy. Aside from that, I have very few issues with this place. But one time, at night, of course, I ordered a large vanilla iced coffee. When I'm handed the drink, the cup was clearly not a large. Because it was my mother's order, I asked the girl, "is this your large?? " knowing it wasn't since my mom orders this all the time, I'm familiar with the cup. But I didn't want to sound rude. The girl takes it back, I see her stand around with the drink in her hand, thinking she was out of view, for about 5 minutes. Then I see her grab a large cup, fill it with the contents of my cup and simply put more ice in the large cup to make it seem like she put more. I was furious.
