The absolute worst McDonald's in the Lansing area. Total incompetence. 3 cars 25 minutes shorted me my $1 double cheeseburger. DO BETTER

I went to this McDonald's a few days ago and I had to take time to write this because it was insane . I sat at the drive through and seen 2 cars get helped before me I did say hello very nice because nobody said anything like we will be right with you they just kept taking the first lane orders. so I thought something is wrong I went to the window and asked if lane 2 was closed. this man said to me "you just have to be patient" I felt that I was. After watching two cars get helped for me and I never had someone be so rude. I told him that was so rude and asked for the manager. He was the manager. I said okay He told me he couldn't count the 100$ bill and take an order at the same time I told him I'm sorry because I feel bad that he's doing to much. When I said I was sorry he told me he wouldn't be serving me. I felt like like this guys bad day was my fault? I left in silence because it was actually the craziest experience I've had with a mcdonalds, I was genuinely sorry he was doing both lanes and that I didn't know he was going to help me because he never said hold on The assistant manager with earings. He was telling me how hard his job was and when I gave him empathy he denied my survive. He needs more employees and he needs more training read more

This was, hands down, the absolute WORST meal I've ever had. Not only are they still way over charging, the food was not even lukewarm. The cheese on the bottom of the box was the only cheese on the quarter pounder. Never again. read more

This McDonalds is COOKED. These mfers don't give a fuck. This is the saddest, poorest managed McDonalds in Lansing. Expect under-cooked fries and probably going to get your order wrong. Go a couple miles further down to the white McDonalds where they actually care and the food prep is WAY better. read more

This McDonalds always does the best job hot food and all. I love the service and today was great like any other time. The black woman that brought my food was friendly and smiling The white guy bringing food to the cars was very friendly and even asked how was I and my food . The mixed race guy with the curly hair in a pony tail did a great job cleaning and freshing up the lobby after the lunch rush ! These ppl are well trained and extremely professional and always greet you and smile ! Best McDonald's hands down no matter how I order how I ask it's always done right! Big ups guys ! read more

Ordered at 3:22am two McChickens and one large diet soda. Arrived shortly after 3:35am and was told at the drive thru speaker that they weren't taking orders. Stated I had a mobile order and they said they already put away dinner and I would be refunded in 24 hours. As a 24 hour location I understand time to switch menus and clean at some point, but he just dismissed us entirely for two sandwiches and a drink. Bread, mayo, and lettuce don't need to be prepped and a fried chicken breast is on the breakfast menu and dinner menu so I don't see why he couldn't have made it and we would have waited for it too and been understanding that it was in the middle of switching menus. They didn't even offer the drink. What it really seemed like was they just didn't want to work. My ordered wasn't even canceled until 6:21am which further supports that not only did they not want to make the order, but didn't even care to cancel it until probably right before clocking out almost three hours after I made the order and was told they wouldn't be making it. As someone who has worked in the food industry, there is no excuse for their behavior over something so simple other than laziness and lack of motivation to work and respect for the job and the company. read more

It would really be nice if they honored our requests, this is the third time I ordered here through Grubhub and they refused to put any dipping sauce for our nuggets. Just because it's through delivery, doesn't mean we don't want the sauce. Just honor what it is supposed to accommodate the food, is all I'm asking. might have to order from a different place from now on. I know the McDonald's on on 6300 west St Joe and 7240 W. Saginaw has excellent service, even if it's through delivery. We'll see if it'll happen again. Otherwise, I might have to go and tell them in person. The only reason I didn't go in person is because I had 2 stokes and 3 little boys. read more

Not the best McDonald's around; a LOT of mistakes on orders and pretty slow service. I think they frequently have staffing issues (ie severely understaffed) and I get the impression the workers are doing their best but not quite able to keep up due to understaffing or possibly lack of proper training. Once recently I only saw one employee working in these, no joke (I assume there were others frantically scrambling behind the scenes). A traffic cone blocking off one of the drive through lanes to slow ordering. So bad there was honking in the drive thru which i don't think i've ever seen at a McDonald's before. The staff is always nice, and apologetic for the problems, they must be doing enough right that they always have a long line at lunch and the food seems consistent with the quality of most McDonalds; ie fairly tasty comfort food. read more

Came by on a Saturday night around 9 pm, typical late night munchies crowd. Waited for an eternity in the drive thru only to pull up and see none of the employees wearing a mask properly per Covid business guidelines. They were all pulled down to their chins exposing both mouth and nose, minus one who still had it pulled down past her nose. I considered asking for the supervisor to remind her they are violating the regulations right now and that I'm sure McDonalds as a company would not be pleased, but the supervisor on duty was the worst offender present. You would think with the high volume of traffic that comes through this location the employees would be even more cautious. This place is an pandemic epicenter waiting to happen. read more

Please do not eat at this restaurant location unless you want to end up with food poisoning! It is 07/11/2021 and I had postmates pick-up a Quarter Pounder Meal and Chicken Sandwich. The quarter pounder beef was not cooked all the way and pink! as well as some sort of slimly substance on the meat and the chicken sandwich was all burnt bun and dirty oily chicken! Please don't eat here! I know McDonald's is a quick food stop when you don't want to cook or you're lazy! The food has always been labeled as unhealthy! Was at this location on December 21rst 2022 and overheard the Manager tell my Wife "You should go somewhere else." when my Wife told her that she was Blind when the Manager assumed that my Wife could "see that they were under-Staffed." This argument started right after my Wife raised her Voice in order to be addressed after the Staff left us standing, and ignored, for over 6 minutes at the front Counter. And it's SLOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW every single time I'm there, no matter the time of day. And they have 2 order stations and 2 pickup windows!?!?!? Who is training this staff?? I can see how hard it is to charge someone for the tomato on their mcchicken they asked for, make them wait in the car line for 20 minutes, and then give them ketchup instead of the tomato. Stopped into this McD's during dinner rush. Not a big McDonalds fan but was tired and hungry enough to eat the arm off a rag doll and it was on the way home so took a chance. I thought that it being dinner rush, the food would get faster turnover (i.e., be "fresh," as fresh as can be for fast food). For the record, I was using the drive-through. Ordered Quarter-pounder w/cheese meal, medium, with Sprite and peaches & cream pie. Got my drink and bag and did a quick inspection (using the drive-through for any fast food joint is always a crap shoot). Aside from the 2/3 full fries (which I have come to accept as the standard for any McDonalds), the pie was missing. So I informed the cashier. She brought me another bag, which I again opened and it was an apple pie, not a peach pie. I had to knock on the window to get her attention again. She then told me that it was a peach pie, they had just put it in an apple pie container. If I'm a cashier, I might have mentioned that when I handed it over, to avoid the obvious confusion that I ultimately experienced. Drove away, got on the freeway, and opened my Quarter-pounder. Let's not beat around the bush. No fast-food meal EVER looks even remotely like what they show on TV or in ads. So I didn't expect much. However, what I got barely resembled the usual Quarter-pounder w/cheese standard to which I had become accustomed. Flat, smushed bun, and the "burger" was dried. Looked like it had been waiting under the warmer for a long while. To the cashier's credit, the pie was indeed peach. Too many other options in this area. Skip this one (corner of Saginaw & Waverly) and seek another. read more

So got a sausage mcmuffin this morning. When I opened it up it was burnt black, like a hockey puck. I called and the manager said I'm not sure how we missed that. He offered me another sandwich but I asked to have a refund. When I picked up my refund later that day I realized that not once had they apologized to me for ruining my meal. This store doesn't care about the product they push or the people they push it on. They have no business being open and they, from the managers on down, are the ones ruining the McDonalds brand. As a hiring manager for food service, I would never hire anyone who has worked at McDonalds because I only hire people who care about the guest. Terrible. Garbage. Please close this store. read more

Every time I have use this McDonald's they never get my order correct. If they're out of things they should tell you. Ordered happy meals and they even asked me if I wanted to apples and I said yes however there were no apples. I used to work at a McDonald's in high school and it wasn't very hard so I don't understand why people can't do their job correctly there!! And I'm pretty sure that the manager put something in my drink to make it taste awful because I went through the drive through for an iced coffee and I had to pull ahead because the kid working the window kept making it incorrectly. Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Their shake machine is always "down" and the employees are rude. The orders are almost always made wrong and when I tried to bring this to the managers attention, they didn't even seem to want to take the time to listen. Service was horrible. Went through the drive through and waited for about 15 minutes. They got our order wrong twice. Then when we got to the window to receive our food, the woman wiped her nose on her hand then handed us our food. Then my mom ask where our drink was and she said "I was just about to get that" then rolled her eyes. I checked the bag and we had everything so we drove away.
