Went with my mother and niece to celebrate her birthday lunch here. Picked a spot close to her school and work. It's on the left side after the main doors. Ordered the crab Rangoon dip, yummy crunch, cali roll with cream cheese, pad Thai, croque monsieur (because mom has never tried it and figured it could be worth a try), gouda Mac and cheese, chicken hibachi. $89+ Sushi, American and an eclectic mix of cuisine here. The cali roll is so-so. The chicken hibachi was overcooked and not much flavor. Comes with plain rice. I asked if I could get more veggies, another staffer said yes. Never saw one more piece of veggie at all, beyond what comes with the hibachi. The croque monsieur is ok, not super flavorful, the cheese on top seems like an afterthought. The crab Rangoon dip was decent. Wontons are nicely fried. Pitas aren't too bad. The smoked Gouda is quite good, the cork screw noodles are perfect with the cheese blend. The pad that is just okay, could have used a lime and some bean sprouts. Bar feel inside. Glad they have booths, my mother feels more comfortable in them, more closed off and protective than a table and chairs in the middle of the dining area. Our waitress wasn't too bad. Did end up interacting with other staff for items. We asked one waiter with chin length hair on his left side and short or shaved on the right side to take a picture, he looked annoyed and couldn't be bothered to take a picture of my family. Cask and Co never disappoints! Pretty busy for a wednesday lunch but the atmosphere is always nice. Our food was hot and delicious and the service was great! We had to run out early because my lunch friend got an urgent call but the server was nice enough to help us pack up our meals and pay early. We at least got to enjoy our crab wonton appetizer which hit the spot. With creamy crab and fresh pita and hot wontons it was amazing! I ordered the soup of the day which was a chicken gumbo. Very cute and unique place to enjoy a beautiful bar ambiance with a selection of crafted cocktails to choose from and a very diverse menu. My boyfriend got something like a spicy margarita which he really enjoyed. I forgot my drink but it was really good too. We ordered sushi and wings as an appetizer and premium steak as an entree. Food is more upscale than a typical bar. They were presented well and tasted as good as they looked. You can still get the standard bar options, burgers, wings, etc, but with an extra twist. I do love the curry flavor and the naan shell but could have done without the layer of cheese inside the tacos. The fries were sprinkled with Parmesan cheese but could have used some salt. I'm giving this establishment 2 stars not for the food but for the service. I have dined here multiple times in the past around lunch and once around dinner with no issues. My most recent experience(3/22/26), was at best lackluster. We were not taken care of, general service to our table was an afterthought and our silverware wasn't provided until the girl who delivered our appetizer from the kitchen got it afterwards. We waited 1 hour and twenty minutes before our server handed us the check while we were still waiting for our entree. we all came to realize that Noah, our actual server never put our entrees in. This was my second visit here and was even better than my first! We had a party of 10 for a graduation party that I had made a reservation for. The table was all set when we arrived. We were warmly greeted upon entering and was even offered a side table to set the cake on that we had brought. Yes, they allow cakes to be brought in which was awesome! How have we not heard of this place before? Indoor and outdoor seating available. Ambience is casual but great for hanging out or celebrating special occasions. TVs all around the restaurant to watch your favorite sport or team. The food was great, the service was quick and steady, and the tables were well spaced out. The menu was diverse -- sushi and burgers at the same place. Their fries are unique and plentiful. The only thing that knocked this rating down one star was the 2% credit card fee that was automatically added to our bill. I guess they're assuming non-cash payment? My wife got the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and I got the Spartan burger. The burger was A LOT saltier than expected. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich cost $18 but wasn't worth $7-8. There was no crab or crab flavor and the almost $14 price tag was over-the-top ridiculously expensive. Nashville got chicken sandwich came with pickle slices and was quite flavorful. I ordered the sauce on the side and was really pleased. Not too spicy but just enough. Add a little ranch to round it off. I'd definitely order this again. My son enjoyed the olive burger but I was not a fan of the chopped olives creamed on top. Just give me some olives and mayo. Call me old school but don't overthink something that's tried, true and simple. It came with cheddar cheese which to me is not needed. I would not order this personally even though I'm a huge fan of olive burgers. Fries: I'm not sure when bars and restaurants decided that fresh fries are the way to go? Unless you using the proper potatoes, icing them down and rinsing the starch and are doing a double fry to ensure proper crispiness, you aren't making good fries. These soggy, mis-prepared fries were seasoned with Parmesan cheese and some other seasonings most likely to cover the lousy cook with no crisp whatsoever. Prices are quite high here and I'm very happy to pay those prices for high quality, superior, good tasting food. Unfortunately, it just didn't deliver enough to justify the cost. Has everything been a home run that we've tried? No. The sushi is good, but probably should look elsewhere if you're wanting higher grade sushi. But most everything else we've ordered has been great!
