Absolutely the worst McDonald's experience I've ever had. The worker abruptly walked away while we were giving our codes at the drive-thru, then completely ignored us when we came back around. After going inside, she claimed we never placed an order--even though my payment had already gone through and I showed proof multiple times. Instead of fixing the mistake, she argued with us and refused to make the order until I practically had to beg. Customer service clearly isn't a priority here. It felt like she simply decides which orders are worth her time. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else, like taco bell. read more

The food is consistent because it's a McDonald's, but the wait times are insane. We once waited for 40 minutes in the drive through - I'd made the mistake of ordering online therefore paying online so I got stuck in the line. Reputation of the Brand Tarnished Only looking for a "quick" lunch we stopped at the drive through for this area McDonalds. We immediately noticed our line moving much slower that the other one. As soon as we got our chance to order we spied the reason - another "automated" drive through! Trying to make their task simpler, we ordered a fish sandwich by number and a Coke. Moving up I paid with a credit card (again, to make it easier for them). But all of our "trying to get along" efforts were waisted! We were directed to a parking space off to the side so as to move the line along while we waited. After over 5 minutes a medium Dr. Pepper was delivered. Cool, but we has ordered a Coke! Realizing this I went into the restaurant and pointed out the mistake. The man behind the counter immediately replace it with a large Coke. Great effort, for now. But as the clock ticked past 17 minutes waiting in the "waiting slot" our order finally showed up. I have had similar troubles with McDonalds automated ordering. Once having my order "TRIPLED" and causing a 5 minute delay. I can only guess that this kind of service is due to a combination of Corporate Indifference to customer expectations and Local MISMANAGEMENT! Corporate Indifference by launching an error prone voice activated automated ordering system that clearly was not adequately tested, and local mismanagement by allowing this system to operate while not managing demand with reasonable quality control and prioritizing resources! A deadly combination that at least damaged the brand and at worse destroyed any past integrity in their business. So nope, I will no longer even attempt to use any McDonald's automated drive throughs, or trust McDonald's to deliver on any of their advertised offers. Customers vote with their feet, and this customer will go across the street to Arby's in the future. Dollar votes do mean something! read more

Didn't have my order ready. Had to cook it again. Lied about the reason. Manager "Kristen" was rude to my face. Acted like I was just trying to get free stuff and not attempt to make me whole. After all of that, the order was wrong and my food cold. Called and spoke with another manager, Jacquline, I believe. She apologized sincerely and agreed that the previous manager had poor customer service. There was still this theme that I was trying to get over on them. Never again at this location. 4/5 stars only because the "automated system" that was added to the drive thru wasn't the absolute best. But after one of the teenage employees I believe he said his name was tyler did a wonderful job at correcting the messed up order when the shift manager Christina couldn't absolutely mind blowing that a young kid has better customer service who most likely just started there is doing better than an adult! I've come multiple times to this McDonald's and whenever Tyler has worked he's done an outstanding job of doing anything that I've needed when his co workers wouldn't help me. I recently came by again and Tyler once again did an amazing job with helping after my order had been messed up once again! After some discussion with him I've realized that this McDonald's management is horrible and that teenagers can do much better than adults who have been in the food industry for much longer. I came in today around 7pm and was missing an mcflurry and a drink tyler showed up about a minute later after I told him the items were missing and he delivers them! This McDonald's should close and regroup/retrain! I went there again today because my grandson wanted it. My order had 5 drinks, 5 double cheeseburgers, 3 lrg fries and a hambuger. Order was in a timely manner, even know they gave my food to the car infront of me and I watch the car give it back. As I drive down the road to pickup 3 more grandsons my granson in back seat is thirsty. You guessed it no straws, we went and picked up other grandson from school and they got to look at the slushies as they were melting. McDonalds was on the way back so stop to get straws. No entry, Drive thru has 20+ cars. I finally flag someone down as they were taking out the trash, told them I needed some straws for my drinks. Given its proximity I keep coming here, but no more. I have been here a few times without incident, but witnessing more bad customer service and messing up a simple 2 burger order is my last straw. My incident involved ordering one of the new burgers on there revised value menu. Mcdonald's has revised their menu and while keeping some $1 menu items they are mainly between $1-$2. They can differ by location. For ex. the Daily Double (lettuce, tomato McDouble) was 20 cents more than an Overland Park location. For my purchase they simply entered in the bacon version of the Buffalo Ranch McChicken. What if I didn't eat bacon? Blasphemous I know, but some people don't eat pork. It's not like they read my order back to me either. It's not bad enough on it's own, but I have a 50/50 track record at this location of something going wrong. To the customer service snafu. The location's carbonated drinks were down and they were letting people stand there figuring out their orders and didn't inform them of the issue until they started ordering. I happen to hear it from someone else ordering, but I saw two people have to go through the stress of figuring out what to do. You bring in your family and they kids are set on Mcdonald's and you've asked them what they want and now you have to explain why they can't get what they want. No signs letting people know or the courtesy of telling them while they are looking at the menu. Here are the food service reviews immediately surrounding. Taco Bell = Almost Rock Stars, La Fuente and Subway =Compentant, Arby's and Sonic = Was bad, but Improving, McDonalds = Bad to worse, Pizza Hut = horrible when I last had it. This is the MOST incompetent group of people "working" in one establishment I have ever seen in my life. They couldn't get the simplest order right and FOUR people came to the window confused about how to fix it, then still couldn't even get it right so we just drove off with whatever they put in the bag. We ordered a bacon egg and cheese biscuit meal and 3 extra hash browns....since English wasn't anyone's first language they could not figure out for the life of them how to add the extra hash browns. About midnight and I just got off work, all I wanted was a water and order of cookies. Saw lights still on inside store, multiple cars parked out, employees visible in the store. Even drive thru lights were still in yet they continued to ignore me in the drive thru. They acted like they were closed even though they still had an hour left. Went up to door--door was locked and remained so even when the teenage employees saw me. I saw them chatting and having a good time with their friends who were obviously NOT employees. I've heard multiple reviews of this location closing early, poor customer service, and neglecting/ignoring customers in drive thru. This is the worst mcdonald's i have ever been to. they got my order all wrong and caught an attitude over THEM messing everything up because we had to repeat our order about 7 times (not exaggerating). This is one of the worst McDonalds that I have been to and has not improved in over 4 years. It is the only one near me and the fries are hit or miss. Always getting wrong order. The main reason i am writing the review is because their milkshakes are always just liquid which has been over a year now! Fix your machine!!!!!
