Stopped in for a quick bite and as expected,5 guys didn't dissapoint. This location has the same as others in the area. The parking area was spacious and clean. Inside there was plenty of customers and employees dmiling and prepping food. The prices are comparable to upper end fast casual. My double bacon cheese burger was made to order like all food served here. About 10 min later I unwrapped my sandwich and the piping hot freshness smelled sooo good. The first through the last bite was so delicious. It was just filling enough to not need anything else for a few hours. I will be back to this place, one of the better locations in the kc area. I highly reccommend coming hungry, you wilk be stuffed by the time you walk outside.

I waited for my order, and went I got home I saw that they gave me old stale fries!!! If they are charging premium prices I expect premium quality. I had to throw both order of the fries away. Absolutely terrible for the price they are making people pay! I should have checked before I left, but I shouldn't have to.

I still don't get it. I tried this location to see if I just wasn't visiting the right place. Nope. I'm not saying that is wasn't a decent burger... but what is this hype? Everyone swoons and wets their pants when this place gets mentioned. I got the cajun fries only to discover they are the regular fries that get a light coating of cajun seasoning right before they hit the bag. No special cooking process... just a different salting. I don't dig their fries. They are limp and mushy. I would recommend skipping the fries (save yourself about 3 bucks) and eating the free peanuts. If you have to have them, just buy one order and share ....with EVERYONE. The burger must be a double or you will be really disappointed. The double is about the size of regular burger. They do wrap the burger in foil and that makes the cheese extra melty and the bun soft. Ok for a buger fix, but not outstanding. PS PRICEY (5.39 for a double "regular" cheesebuger) and they don't offer combos.

    Regular fries. Yum!

My order was wrong and the employees were so incredibly rude. If this is the way they treat customers, I'll never go back!

I tend to visit eateries off their peak meal times. This location is near a very busy interchange between I-435 and State Line Road. Quite the crossroads. It's nice inside, not overly fancy yet well-kept. Not a cheap eatery, but it's Italian cuisine done right. Seeing any restaurant rather busy amidst the rush of 103rd & State Line weekday traffic is a good sign, and it was slightly hectic, to the point one server mixed up a couple of orders. Fortunately, an astute diner caught the error before it mattered. Seeing orders lined up around meal times is a sign that the business is thriving, and clearly it is. The food didn't disappoint, either. I was here for their cannoli, and they even had more than one style when I visited. Wanting to be sort of a purist, I chose the Sicilian variety (to share with my Sicilian friend who, like me, LOVES cannoli) and they were great. I shall return to try other options here. Four and a half rounds up to five stars.

Had the Fat Marco's sandwich, Garlic butter, mortadella, capicolla, salami, olives, onions, & provolone. 1st bite the garlic butter hit me and i became ravenous. Each further bite, more flavors combined like a really good lasagna! Bread is crispy on the outside and fluffy like sourdough on the inside. If you need a more affordable meal than Jasper's, and one that doesn't skimp on flavor or authentic Italian wafting aroma, Then imho you really ought to go here!

Keven greeted me and walked me through their spice levels - so on the side of using good judgement I went for a medium 2 strip dinner. Made fresh to order it took about 8 minutes to get my order but it was a lovely change from the slightly warm chicken generally found at a fast food restaurant. These chicken strips were huge! And they've been crusted with the flavor - not drenched in sauce. The chicken was moist and delicious as were the seasoned fries. This will become a go to spot for chicken - winning out over any of the more well known places for me!

Overall, it gives the restaurant a modern street style feel with the bold colors and graffiti around. We bought 2 - one tender and one slider combos $14 each along with buffalo style Mac and cheese with three small chicken pieces $7 and the final bill including tip was $42. The tenders were packed with flavor - crispy and juicy chicken. It was perfectly fried and had the right amount of medium level spice on it. However the buffalo style Mac and cheese was cold and underwhelming - three pieces of chicken with hardly any actual Mac and cheese and fries - it was not what I expected. I definitely expected more Mac and cheese haha. Another downside for me was the pricing of the combos/food- it was high because if you look at the combo it's just two tenders with some bread and sauce. Portion wise it didn't really match the pricing for more of a fast food restaurant setup. The restaurant was clean otherwise and the service was decent - nothing amazing as such. Overall, good fast food with high pricing for what you get.

The store wasn't busy at all, but was clean and pleasant enough. We started placing our order at the kiosk (no human order takers here, as far as I could tell) and, after ordering 2 burgers, 2 Shakes, and a side of of onion rings, plus a bottle of water, AND being solicited for a tip by the kiosk (who exactly is getting a tip here? The kiosk?), our total was $52. FIFTY-TWO DOLLARS. for 2 burgers, shakes, onion rings and water. These had better be the best damn burgers and onion rings I've ever had in my life at that price point. Here's the thing...the burgers were good. Just...good. Not outstanding, mind-blowing....just good. The shakes? Well, if you're going to make that the namesake of your business model, your shakes should be big and they should be amazing...but these were just middle-of-the-road, very very ordinary chocolate shakes. The onion rings were pretty good...a total of 6 onion rings, for $4.50. SIIX. Look, the food was fine, the service was fine, but the prices, especially in today's economy, were just over the top. If you don't mind blowing over $50 bucks for what amounts to slightly elevated fast food, then Shake Shack is probably ok for you....for me, it's just not worth the prices they charge. We enjoyed our first visit, but are unlikely to return as we didn't get what I'd consider a good value for our money. Had the total been $30, it probably would have gotten a higher rating and better review.

You're…read moregoing to get a pretty good burger, maybe messier than other places, but it's going to be full of flavor and topped how you want it. But the brand that expanded westward so quickly doesn't seem to maintain its same zing, at least not at this location. This is a smaller location, clearly designed for more of a pick-up/delivery service operation, and the service definitely represents that. All of the ordering is done via kiosk, which is fine, but it embodies the impersonal nature of casual dining these days. The robotic nature of self-service seems to only lend to the blasé nature of the people that are working. They aren't rude by any means; they're just seemingly disinterested in actual service. Order, find a table, wait a few, and your food is brought to you. Lather, rinse, repeat. It's still a really good burger and there are lots of options. Shake Shack even gives you options for a mushroom burger, where the patty is replaced by a portobello mushroom. Maybe my burger wasn't perfect this time, and the "Parmesan Garlic Fries" were just fries dusted with powdered parmesan, so this visit wasn't exactly knocking my socks off. It was more a representation of the service than the brand. So if you're getting it to go, then you're probably in good shape. If you're getting it to stay put, then don't expect much.
