"Oh no! What could improve?" How about everything? I've already left a few very bad and sad reviews about this location. I've also said "I can't believe...I'm never coming back etc." type reviews but THIS one absolutely wins. Tonight 5/30 I hit drive-thru for a chocolate shake. Transaction was taken and I was told to proceed. I got to window and was told (as per usual at McDonalds) that there was something inexplicably wrong with shake machine. This is nothing new, internet has been covering it for years (the machine isn't broke, it's just that no one wants to clean it). The mgnr said she'd fix it, pull ahead. 2-3 mins later, there's my chocolate shake. 2-3 mins ago, it wasn't even considerable that it was possible. Yet, there it was. So after all the back and forth waiting, I get some woman who may be a manager or may not. I pointed out this was a vanilla shake with chocolate sauce.... That's when shit got weird. This person almost immediately called me a liar amongst other shocking things, which, in turn, set me off. I realize it's only a milk shake but wtf with challenging the customer about the quality or reality of it in general? We exchanged unpleasantries. I don't do that. But WOW she deserved an earful and I gave it to her. Her responses were laughably out of line. I know service jobs are hard and need to be applauded whenever possible. However, this person needs to be retired from her "position" She fought me every step of the way. Including TELLING me to get the original vanilla shake w sauce out of my car and return it in order to give me a refund. This is simply a quick overview of what happened. There were many anti customer interactions during this whole ridiculous exchange. Hopefully the two teen gals who witnessed it all got it on video. This woman needs to be fired ASAP. I may have been heated but this woman forced things WAY too far for no good reason. I still can't believe it. I've said it before, but I'm never going back to this location. It's that ridiculous. I'm sitting here post surgery eating a crispy chicken sandwich from McDonald's. It is a poor imitation of the Chic Fil A sandwich. Why? The chicken is overcooked. Hard and nonjuicy. The chicken itself is stringy, you can try to eat one bite but the whole patty shreds into tasteless strings. C'mon, fast food. Do you not have TIMERS for taking this stuff out of a fryer? The bun is also baked too dark and dry. It improved a bit by mayo added at home. Even though I avoid Chic Fil A for various reasons, they have perfected the FF chicken sandwich. Our family went here on Labor Day around to eat lunch. The customer service here was Terrible. The tables, and the floor were all littered with trash and had not been cleaned so we had to eat outside. The trash cans were so full you couldn't put any else in them and the employees there were standing around talking or eating and not helping customers as they should have been. We ordered thru the drive thru. We ordered a #4c MEal and a #6 meal. We were than told to pull around to spot #7 and they would bring our food to us. 4 different times we were brought the wrong food. on the 5th time they asked for our receipt then went back in the store. On their 6th trip to our car they brought some of our food and forgot the fries. When i told the them they forgot the fries they then argued with us that we didn't order the meal, so i had to ask him for my receipt and showed him we did indeed order the meals. He went back in and got our fries, which were old, soft and not hot. We placed our order at 3:09pm and finally received all of it at 3:26pm No compensation was offered at all. We will be spending our money elsewhere. And it's a shame as we live about a mile away from this store. Plenty of other options in the area. read more

This McDonald's is part of a very new shopping plaza along NC State Road 24/27 with a Wal-Mart and a bunch of other shops. I was looking for some free wi-fi to send a few emails and make sure that work was still cooking along, so this really hit the spot. Good service by a well trained crew, the restaurant is spotless as were the restrooms. I found a table in the back that had a nearby power outlet and I remained undisturbed for over an hour. My only complaint was that the background music was a little on the louder end of the scale. This McD's has a drivethrough but it's location is a challenge if you want to be going east after. You have to get back on 24/27, go a block, and wait for the light so that you can make a u-turn. But if you're heading west, no worries! read more

This is the worst McDonalds. I've complained on their website too. They have 2 drive thru speakers and we waited 8 minutes to move. Both lives at a stand still for 8 minutes! I was a McDonalds worker in high school. Park them. Their times have to be terrible. My order was wrong, yet again and missing fries. They also have 1 McFlurry. 1!!! Customer service is on par with what I would expect from the greater Charlotte area; sloppy, lazy, incompetent, lacking any real sense of urgency, etc. This location doesn't seem to have any standards regarding the quality of people they hire, nor is there any sense of pride in the work done here. I gave it two stars because the building is at least new enough to not be a complete dump. This McDonalds specifically has made me realize the importance of cooking at home instead of paying incompetent people to build a crap burger and fries for double the price of my home cooked meal. 1 star is one too many. If it is after 8 they take the ice cream down. Cross contaminated my daughters food with avocado which she is allergic to. One day heard a asst manager bashing an employee who refused to work a double calling her a lazy mexican. But against best judgement we went again tonight. Stopped by there tonight - hoping for a quick burger and coffee. DENIED!!! First, no coffee ready (fast food???). Second, asked for water (light ice), employee sent me to soda machines with a huge cup. After looking a bit, I determined I couldn't get water from there. Went back to the counter and asked a manager (I think he was???) about water. He says "well, you can't get water out there!" The fact that his employee sent me away with an empty cup was lost on him. He tried to get my water - seemed to have trouble figuring out the drink dispenser but eventually brought me a cup of ice with some water sprinkled in. Also, they charged me .50 for water - I inquired about this - he suggested this was somehow my fault - that I didn't order my water correctly. And, didn't offer to correct the situation. I filled out their survey and as I was doing so, it sounded like the manager was having an argument with someone in the drive through. Also, at least two others had issues with their orders while I was there. Oh well, first world problems and all that. I guess in the future, I'll vote with my wallet. As indicated, I filled out a survey, hope to hear back on that. This is not my first negative experience with this location. A little slow for a Mcdonald's breakfast. The food was fresh and good but the speed of execution was lacking. They had to replace the OJ concentrate in the machine which took them about 5 mins to pour our OJ. They should have brought it to us but they did not, we had to go back up for it. The ketchup came out a weird color, I would recommend ketchup packets to be safe. The ketchup was more orange than red coming out... Kind of worrying... read more

Manager laughed at me for having a medical condition. They don't take food allergies seriously. If you get sick or have life threatening reaction, they think that is the funniest thing ever. Avoid this location like the plague. If you're brave enough to go inside, be carful that the manager doesn't ridicule you. read more

I pulled into the second speaker because there was someone else in the first one. The other people finished their order and went around to pay. No one spoke to me on my speaker for a good 2-3 minutes. I kept saying hello every few minutes but no answer. I was about to pull around to have them take my order at the window when someone else pulled into the first speaker and someone helped them right away. Then finally someone helped me. Not attentive staff and they don't even speak to you in the drive thru. Employees act lazy and like the customers are a burden. Don't recommend this place at all read more

They come on and are off in 10 seconds n never get hot In calling this to staff attention since my hands were still dripping wet, she said " Oh we aren't allowed to use those things, we have to use paper towels, I don't know why they put those things in there. " So what's the point of washing your hands if you can't dry them? And then must use wet hands to open dirty door handle??? Single worst fast food experience that i have had in quite some time. Every item out of my order was wrong. Staff was very rude. The worst part is that the dining room was empty and we STILL had to wait 20 minutes to recieve our meal while employees were clocking out and all walking out the door eith large bags of food. I have currently been waiting an extra 10 minutes for my burgers to be remade and still have yet to see them. The day shift is okay here most of the time, but stay away from this dumpster fire at night. read more

This McDonald's just continually gets worse. I used to order a side salad which came with chopped romaine, baby spinach, baby kale, red leaf lettuce, ribbon cut carrots, grape tomatoes. Now they have switched it and only give you lettuce, NOTHING else! Even when I told them I had always ordered it and gotten that, the employee said that was wrong and I shouldn't have been getting it. The hot mocha's in the a.m. are a big miss as well. I repeatedly have to ask for them to "stir" the chocolate, which they never seem to do. By not stirring the chocolate to distribute it evenly throughout the drink changes the entire taste of it. Employees will hand you a frappe that have run over on the outside and don't bother to wipe it off before handing it to you. You have to ASK for them to wipe it down. The majority of the drive through employees are rude, seem to not care or don't want to be bothered with customers. No thank you, come back again and you get shot a look, like they don't want to be bothered with you. There are one or two that are friendly and say thank you, but for the most part it is extremely bad service. Funny, other McDonald's in other areas serve the side salad as I described, stir their hot mocha's and are much friendlier than this particular store. Maybe the franchise owner and management team need to start taking a deeper look at employees or maybe retrain or hire better employees. Customers do still pay your salary folks! I ordered a iced mocha with no whip cream and when I pull up the lady at the window handed me a hot one I told her it was iced, she gets defensive and asked me if I met an iced mocha or frappe? Like I don't know what I'm talking about. I tell her again what I want and she handed me one with whipped cream. I'm like ok thanks but I actually ordered no whip. So she continued to be rude and tells me to pull up. I don't because she was really frustrated and I didn't feel comfortable leaving her alone thinking she might spit in it. She delays making it and comes back to the window telling me to pull up. I'm like ok but I'm not gonna.. and she laughs at me and goes ahead to make it she handed this coffee to me with out ice!
