Our family is new to the area and we love NY style pizza. This location is on point with their pizza and the topping choices they offer. The antipasto salad was good, but not great. The blue cheese dressing tasted odd to both myself and my husband. It wasn't chunky and had the consistency of ranch, but not the same flavor. We chose to use some dressing we had in our refrigerator. The meats and cheese in the salad were great, but the lettuce was a little wilted versus crisp. The staff of this location are always friendly and helpful. I appreciate their knowledge of the menu and can honestly make great suggestions. New ownership, totally redeemed. I took my son to get a haircut and we stopped in for pizza. I have not been there for many years because I didn't think their food was very good. Today, however, blew my expectations away. It isn't owned by the same people as the last time I ate there. The owner was friendly and welcoming. It was very clean, had nice music and free WIFI. The food was excellent. My son loved his pizza and ate every bite. My calzone was packed full of cheese and could easily feed two adults. It had a nice flavor and is one of the best I've ever had. Had a great dinner at Pizza and Beyond today. The Garlic Knots were amazing. Fresh and obviously made from scratch. Then the Pizzas were just as good. The service was what you would want from your favorite restaurant. The staff were friendly and prompt. Drinks were refilled quickly without having to ask. The remaining pizza was boxed up for us to take home. The restaurant is clean and the booths were very comfortable. The music was perfect. So I haven't been to this restaurant in years- since the old owners. So I saw tonight that they had tiramisu on their menu and I decided to order me one serving- That was around 7pm tonight - Had to go pick my son up from his job and when I finally got back home and go settled in for the night I thought I would go ahead and eat my Tiramisu finally- Took the lid off, got me a spoon and took a bite and YUCK IT IS FROZEN!!!!! So now it's 11pm, they are closed and I have no one to complain to so I thought I would leave a review so just in case anyone else gets a craving for some of their FRESHLY MADE TIRAMISU (as I was told) they will check it when you get it and make sure it's not FROZEN- Just for the record- Tiramisu is NOT GOOD FROZEN!! Is it really a 4 star...no...but it is very good NY/NJ style pizza for around here. Thinner style crust and that's the way I like it. A little oily but that is fine as well. They use sliced sausage instead of those disgusting sausage balls the chains use. I think it is a family run business as the young girl working the register and boxing the food called the guy Dad who was manning the oven. Pizza was cooked real nice as it had just a little char on the crust, another plus. Very friendly staff and menu items are fairly priced. They even serve wine by the bottle, not top shelf stuff but wine that would pair nicely with their menu. It is now my go to place when I want this style of pizza. read more
