A 1/4 eaten cup of vanilla with strawberry droppings. That's about as far as I got before tossing it.

I'll try to be nice here but this is one of those little town places you may be curious about. We were too. The appeal brought us in but we were not hungry. So, we just ordered shakes. I'm not really sure they could be classified as milkshakes. Well, I was less than impressed nonetheless. Burger King and McDonald's have better shakes. Well, except for the Shamrock shake, that's pretty much crap. But, the Sundae Shop is not much better. I ordered the Strawberry shake and my wife the Cookie Dough. It appears what they do use is mediocre vanilla ice cream and toss in a few spoons of ingredients. So what you get is a plan vanilla shake with a few bits of flavor. It's not impressive at all. A vanilla shake with a couple chunks of strawberry. It's just Meh! Sundae Shop listen up. Use better vanilla and get some flavoring. Such as a quality strawberry flavor and toss in a few real strawberries. Blend it up and toss on a couple more strawberries to impress me or make me think it's home made. The cookie dough wasn't much better. Maybe if I ever pass through this town, hopefully never, I'll try a chili dog or a burger. You must be known for something good with the traffic flow. Was that nice? I hope it was helpful.

Delicious old fashioned burgers, hot dogs and ice cream. Great customer service. Picnic tables with umbrellas available.

Old-school drive in type place that serves burgers, fries, hot dogs, and soft serve ice cream. They have a menu of sundaes, cones, and shakes( with the option to add candy). You walk up to the window and place your order and pay, and then when your order is ready, they call your number. They have a bunch of picnic tables where you can sit to enjoy yoir food, no indoor seating. We just stopped in for ice cream but will be back to check out the burgers!

Cute little ice cream shop with good burgers and hot dogs. There is only outdoor picnic tables but get burgers here often when passing through. The bacon cheeseburger is very good and reasonably priced. I love their onion rings as well, they are not breaded too heavily and very crispy. The staff is very friendly and bring a nice, hometown feel.

Local favorite! Great place to hang out and grab a bite. Best hotdogs in the area. Mostly teenaged staff are always kind and prompt.

Fabulous!!! We had 2 burgers, onion rings and a sundae. The burgers were delicious fresh and the employees were really hustling and so sweet. We had a sundae for dessert with hot fudge that was so soft and decadent and simple just hit the spot.

We love the Sundae Shop! Burgers, hotdogs, fries, ice cream! Order at the window and eat at a picnic table or take it to go.

Pretty cool, cheap, good place to eat. Stopped here on the way back from a hike and got a hotdog all the way and a hot fudge cake sundae, for just $7. The hot dog was good, nothing special, but the sundae was one of the best I've ever had. If I ever go back I will definitely get another sundae, but might try their hamburger instead.

This was a Yelp recommendation per the usual.. looking for food on the back roads while headed to Myrtle Beach. We stopped here to grab a quick bite (bacon cheeseburger and fried fish sandwich) and it satisfied the cravings! Very cute spot in Midland, reminded me of a classic Dairy Queen. I wanted to try a yummy shake, but in the interest of a 3+ hour car ride I passed. I did try a small vanilla cone with fruity pebbles which was good, but it was melting because it was so hot! Long story short, I would try this place again, thanks for coming through in the clutch.

Parking out front.. Waiting for pick-up

This remains our favorite shake and burger stop in the Locust/Midland area.. while it may take a bit to complete your order...... it's all freshly cooked and assembled with care.. Fries need to cool a bit! But they are great. I most always do a Bacon Cheeseburger LTMO and a Large Strawberry Shake.

A very nice environment for dinning or a nice event. A plethora of seating options, high top tables, booths, standard tables and even outdoor seating. The service we got from Cameron was great. Not rushed, he answered all our questions and was attentive but not intrusive. So friendly and efficient. The food was stellar, seriously. They offer several different steak cuts, preparation options and phenomenal sides. The entree offerings are very impressive. But the surprise for me was the menu. Many of the dishes offered full portions or small portions. Even as we were eating OUR meals I was watching what was being delivered at nearby tables. Amazing. I would give more stars if I could.

Saw this restaurant on Charlotte's Restaurant week website. I wanted to take the husband out to another Queens Fest to try more 'local' flavors. And he loved this spot. He had the Rocky River Ribeye, with herb butter- perfectly seared, light crust, very good. For me I did the Queens feast .. bacon wrapped scallops, French onion soup, 10oz peppercorn sirloin. And wow! So so good. And I loved my drinks.. thymed to get smashed. Excellent spot for a date night. We sat at the bar. Great service. I can't wait to try their desserts next time...

I felt like having a burger and fries. Johnny Roger's was the choice. I had the Wagyu smash burger with fries. Price was a little steep, but what the heck. After a short wait, the order disc started vibrating. The burger and fries were good. My burger had two patties with a slice of cheese on each one. I did like that. The bun was good, it held up while I was enjoying my meal. The patties were very thin, but tasty and enjoyable. The fries were pretty good. I didn't get any seasoning that I could tell, but that's ok. Gibson Mill Market food court is actually pretty good place to hang out it seems. Who doesn't enjoy a burger and a beer (High Branch and Cabbarrus breweries are on site). It seems like a great place with plenty of things to see and partake in. It has a great vibe for sure. We would probably visit here again when everything is open. I would eat another burger here honestly.
