Duck, duck, WHITE duck! What a fun find! On a pea soup fog kind of morning, this cute and happy…read morelittle drive-thru served up sunshine. The staff... both the guy with the tablet who took my order while I was in the drive-thru line-and the gal at the window-were so warm, friendly, chill and helpful. I'd go back just to bask in their positivity! But kindness isn't the only thing on the menu. There's coffee, tea, plant-based energy drinks, Italian sodas... and dozens (I think 75) of flavors you can add to them. In a fist visit, I usually start with chai tea latte... but today I asked for suggestions and ended up with a hot hibiscus tea with added pear flavoring. It was so floral and different! Hello new year! This knocked "the usual" on its head. I'm not sure that it will end up being my favorite offering here, but yeah... here's to shaking things up! I also tried the rainbow bagel-which was pretty and tasty. I liked the chew. Next time I'll try the strawberry cream cheese with it. There are filled croissants, too... but I forgot to ask about the flavors-and you can get mini donuts, too. White Duck was founded by a couple of Seattle transplants, who wanted to bring the "two windows in a shed" model of Pacific Northwest coffee shops to the Bay Area. And that's exactly what this is-a drive thru-no indoor seating-and I didn't see any outdoor tables, either. This is grab and go. But there's parking behind the building, if you want to sit and savor a bit. The shop is way up on North Dale Mabry-near Van Dyke-on the east side, right next to a Wendy's. It wasn't busy when I first got there but there at 8:30 on a Wednesday morning, but it soon picked up. I can see why... it's so convenient and the staff is so nice. They really stand out. I can't wait to stop in again and try more! I read on the website that the owners lost a child to cancer and part of the proceeds from each purchase goes to research. Well now I just have to try all those 75 flavors! See you soon, White Duck!

The first time it happened, I called and spoke to the owner, declined compensation, and asked that they just review cross-contamination prevention with their baristas. It happened again three days later. What made the second time my last visit is that the young man who made my latte asked if I had called about the oat milk and apologized again for the error... then gave me a contaminated beverage. I also wouldn't bother with their food. The cinnamon bun was tasty but nothing that you couldn't get out of a truck stop vending machine.

It's not a very large space but they do have indoor seating and a few tables outside to sit and enjoy your coffee. Parking felt a little tight (busy shopping plaza) but there's plenty of parking available. Restaurant was clean and customer service was great! All of the staff members were very pleasant and helpful. I tried the hot hazelnut latte and it was okay. They have TONS of flavors to choose from and more than just coffee to order from. They also serve some hot food and bakery items. I did try the cinnamon roll but it honestly reminded me of a honey bun versus a traditional cinnamon roll. Clean restroom and well stocked but did not have a changing table. Overall a great vibe and would go back to try other coffee drinks.

Totally attractive for a parent who needs a break and wants to enjoy a sweet treat or maybe like a lunch break. I told her it was my first time in but did look over reviews and such. I wanted to try the blackberry mojito however that was a limited time drink and she didn't have the ingredients to make it. She suggested the berry sangria which was actually my second choice that I had coming here. She said it's one of their most popular drinks. So that's what I got. What I love about this place is that the teas are sugar free. They are sweetened with no calorie sweetener (Splenda). I can have my tea and not feel guilty. They do have boba however that does have sugar. Also the mega teas boost your metabolism and give you a gentle energy boost without the crash. They just celebrated their 1 year anniversary! This place is super cute and the berry sangria was DELICIOUS. I did think it was just a tad bit too sweet, tasted like kook aid! But it was delicious! I will definitely be back here and try other flavors.

Hygiene issue: It's pretty disgusting that the bathroom sink and toilet have gold rings around them and they sometimes do not stock toilet paper so a used roll is sitting on the top of the toilet. The tables are rarely wiped down and even if you wanted to sit outside, there is so many spider webs by the chairs and windows. It's embarrassing to bring friends here because of this. Service: it went from excellent to total embarrassment. I had walked in on a Saturday and the lights were off and no tables and chairs were placed outside. The baker was making coffee and it was CLEAR she was in a bad mood because the barista was TWO hours late. How did I know? They had an argument outside after I left and waited 45 mins for my coffee. So given the dirtiness and unprofessionalism, I'm done with this place This is absurd, absolutely unprofessional and not right. 2 stars for the coffee

I have now been here twice and have to say that both times I thoroughly enjoyed myself!…read more I have drove by this place many times and never equated it to being a quaint tea room until it was introduced to me. From the outside, it looks like a red barn thrift store. But it's actually this cute, charming thrift shop in the front, garden space in the middle section, a store front in the back side and a tea room with inside and outside seating by the pond in the far back. I love the fact that the inside tea room is stocked with different eclectic tea cup sets and that each table is decorated with a matching set for the guests. I like that you are provided a menu of the teas of the day to choose from and there is one from black tea, green tea, herbal tea and a specialty flavor. It gives a nice variety for the table to enjoy. The finger sandwiches/pastries are just the right size and I absolutely love the balsamic dressing that goes with the salad. Tea time has become one of my favorite things for a nice little time away from all the hustle and bustle of normal every day life.
