This was a good Culver's. And we have been to quite a number of their locations. We most frequent the ones in South Florida, but we were in town for the holidays and found this one online not far away from where we were staying. We'd had a very disappointing dinner, so we were still hungry, and I was craving something sweet. For some reason, this "craving" always happens after seafood. I'll have to research that more, I guess. We got here with no problem. Plenty of parking. And although it was busy, we ordered at the counter and found a seat easily. I just got one of their vanilla cups with added hot fudge sauce and my husband had a cone. But it was as good as their other locations and satisfied. Now that we know where they're located, I'm sure we will return when next in this part of Florida read more

Ran In here for a quick bite to eat after leaving the outlet center. The place was clean and the staff were polite. There was actually one young lady who was re-filling the condiments who couldn't have been any nicer!! I used the bathroom to wash my hands and found it to be spotless. In addition to their burgers, this restaurant chain is known for their ice cream and their "flavor of the day" every day they offer a different flavor. They also offer shakes, cones and sundaes. On this visit I skipped the ice cream and shakes and ordered a single bacon/cheddar burger combo. The burger was good but the tomato that was on it, not so much! The center of the tomato was yellow and hard! I should've taken a picture of it but I just pulled it out of my burger and threw it to the side. If you are preparing food for someone and see something isn't right why would you still use it?!? read more

New Culver with new building, new location, and new market. This will be a challenge to many culver store. It does bring easy comfort food to the area and next to the mall. I have been to 4 culver, it will be comparison among them. We are here for buy one get one free ice cream. The coupon is sweet. I have the flavor of the day. It keeps changing every time we're here. In the fast food world this restaurant is the only place I'll stop. Besides their ingredients being all natural, they have a delicious veggie burger!! I couldn't believe it when I found out, and am so happy to see this fast food chain offering healthier choices that taste great for conscious eaters on the go. It's not advertised on the menu yet, but I think all the stores have it so you just have to ask. Also their chicken sandwich is one of the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and so fresh tasting. I stopped eating chicken a couple years ago, but going to Culver's always makes me second guess my choice. Lol (thank goodness for the veggie burger). Salads are decently topped, not just lettuce like most other places, and their fries are consistently cooked well. Also great seasonal soups! The food is great as always but the service was horrible. I went to the drive thru and while trying to order, the girl kept saying "what can I get you" repeatedly and rudely. I felt rushed when trying to order for my boyfriend and I. When we got to the window she was just as rude. When we got our order a couple things were missing and the food was packaged horribly. The burger wasn't wrapped fully and our sides were tossed upside down into the bag. Had the nerve to tell me have a good day but made me a burger with a stale a** bun and then said come back and we can make a new one. Yeah driving 15 mins for A STALE Deluxe is worth the trip. Checking out the new Culvers in Lutz/ on 54. At first, I thought it was going to be a long wait since they were pretty busy at 4pm but surprisingly it was not a long wait to order and be served. I tried the "Original" and my husband tried the Double Cheeseburger, Onion Rings and their Root beer. My son tried the dbl bacon burger with cheese basket. At first, their order came to the table wrong (1- dbl burger w/out cheese and 2- dbl bcn without the bacon or cheese) however the gentleman passing through the beautifully decorated dining room, asked us how everything and was quick to correct our order (2 minute turn-around) and let the boys have the initial order to boot rather than taking it away to dump it, like some other places do. This hamburger was a bit salty but not as strong as I thought it would be, in fact it left a good after taste too. Compared to Five Guys, it was juicy but not overly greasy and the bread does not fall apart on you. Compared to Fuddruckers, well for me, beats Culvers. The crispy fries reminded me of the carnival kind and not the McDee's processed- full of salt kind. The dining is decorated very nicely and you feel like you're in a family restaurant- clean and relaxed regardless how busy. The root beer reminded my husband of what you get in Ronks, PA- the real deal. Next time, we will try out the NA COD fish and desserts, needless to say, it was filling and it's time for a walk. I almost never leave bad reviews for things or places, because I'm truthfully a very laid-back person, but this recent trip left a really bad taste in my mouth. For those of you who don't know, Culver's drive-thru works by them putting a tag on your mirror and having you pull forward. Well today, instead of letting the line back up a little, they were assigning numbers to every car that pulled up, even though there wasn't any room in the car waiting area. So cars, including myself, were forced to awkwardly park in the middle of the parking lot leaving barely enough room for other cars to navigate the lot. Then when the employee finally handed me my food, he asked "Can I get you an..." and that's all I heard because he was already walking away from me mid-question. But wait, there's more. I then drove home to find that they hadn't given me my burger in an order that consisted of chicken strips, onion rings, and a burger. So I then drive all the way back to Culver's to point this out. The girl who helped me is one of the few saving graces that left me to give two stars instead of one. She was very sweet and apologetic. But the OTHER employees responded by talking to each other that, "Oh 154 is back get his burger." which they then got from underneath the heating lamp (it had been sitting there since they forgot to give it to me at the beginning of this story). It was at least point that I just asked for a refund. It wasn't worth it anymore and I would've just eaten the burger angry. The manager, the girl that helped me when I came back to the restaurant (I remember her name if management wants to give her props), and the girl who took my order outside were nice enough and the only reasons for two stars instead of one, but the other employees very clearly wanted nothing to do with me. I, of course, found out about this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I got there a little after noon and it was not busy. I got a bacon double cheeseburger and fries. The burger was good and the fries were also. I wanted to try the cheese curds and custard, but I was too full to eat another bite. The manager/supervisor came to my table to ask how my meal was. He also thanked me for dining there. I've never seen that happen in a fast food restaurant, so it was a pleasant surprise. I have had some empty and all cheese oozed out, and other times a frozen cold chunk in the middle. The burger orders always get messed up, when I ask for no onion. I just had the worst experience at this location. Almost everything was wrong with our order. The cashier did not listen whatsoever because he made multiple errors and the chef clearly did not follow the slip. The first issue is I tried to order the grilled cheese kids meal like multiple times and the kid kept ringing me up for the wrong items and telling me I didn't order what I did. I repeated it at least twice and then he was trying to say I didn't get the kids meal, so I didn't get the drink, but then said he would give me a small one. My boyfriend kept saying he had the basket, so he wanted his drink and the kid was trying to deny that he ordered that and saying he needed to look it up like literally less than a minute after he ordered it. Then, we waited probably 20-30 minutes for the food, which was ridiculous considering it was not that busy. My boyfriend got his burger without the tomato and of course it came with it. My grilled cheese was cold and soggy like it was undercooked in a microwave. Then, our to go order we got for someone else told us that it was not made the way he wanted either and still had pickles on it. I was not at all impressed with this experience and I don't expect to be returning anytime soon. Despite the negative comments by some friends I decided to give it a try. First impressions were good. It was clean and inviting. Standing in line is something I expected, took nearly 10 minute for my turn to place an order. The menu has more selections than most fast food chains and they have a few interesting options that I would try, if I ever decide to go back. I waited another 14 minutes after placing my order for a to-go order, just one burger and one order of fries. By the time I got my food I was there for almost 25 minutes. There's no excuse for *fast* food to be that slow. The burger bun was very nice and a wonderful deviation from a typical burger bun. Wasn't great but was a welcome change. The fries were undercooked but tasty. The burger itself was horrible. It was cooked to death, revived and cooked to death again. Was dry and tasteless.
