Berry Sangria Mega Tea and Tampa Bay Bucs Mega Tea
    Christina A.

What a hidden gem! Awesome atmosphere. Super cute and trendy decor. I went during a vendor pop-up market so it was definitely busy but all the better for them. We were able to order two Mega Teas (Tampa Bay Bucs and Berry Sangria) which were both really good. They were making waffles nonstop and they smelled delicious! We didn't get a chance to chat with the owners since it was so busy but they were greeting guests and they arrived and overall had a great atmosphere. They also offer free fit camps on Saturday mornings. This is definitely a kid friendly cafe and they even had a kids area with some toys for them to play with. Plenty of parking available. Very clean cafe. Bar seating and table seating available.

Very watery Acai Protein Bowl, with very little fruit, granola, etc. $12 plus a tip.

This little shop's decor is absolutely adorable... It would get 5 stars for decor if didn't also order food. My daughter and I saw this cute place on Yelp which serves teas, coffee, shakes, pre- and post-gym workout drinks, and protein bowls and treats. When we arrived there was one young lady working and she already seemed overwhelmed. She was extremely apologetic and pleasant so we were happy to wait. We ordered açai bowls, which were pretty expensive at $12 each. We love açai bowls and have tried them wherever we go. These bowls were primarily water. The açai mixture was cold, pale-colored, and bland, an icy mixture which was soupy as soon as we say down to eat them. This might've been tolerable had there been a sufficient amount of other ingredients. There were a few slices of strawberry, maybe a little crushed pineapple, a little granola, no bananas, no other fruit. There were chia seeds and a small amount of coconut flakes, but nothing redeeming about these expensive bowls. We ate what we could and left hungry. We didn't bring them back as the young lady was so busy and overwhelmed. I think that the owner needs to review the preparation of this bowl with the staff and be sure that there is actually fruit or reduce the prices accordingly. Also, there needs to be adequate help and if a bowl looks puny and watery then the staff should know to not serve it. It was an adorable shop. Hopefully they can remedy their issues.

Literally obsessed with this little spot!! I'm a sweet junkie and the protein donuts help keep me in check and feed my sweet tooth! The owners are both so sweet and I always feel welcome coming here. The Mega teas are delicious too and full of tons of different flavors to enjoy.

I stopped by later in the day, and they were basically sold out of almost everything which, honestly, is usually a great sign for a donut shop. There were only a few apple fritters left, along with some Boston cream donuts, so I grabbed a box to bring to the office during my clinical rotations and made sure to save one of each for myself. The apple fritter was absolutely delicious. fresh, flavorful, and packed with that perfect balance of sweetness and texture. The Boston cream was just as good, with a light, fluffy donut and a rich filling that wasn't overly sweet. The biggest compliment I can give is that the entire office loved them, and they disappeared quickly. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the whole place had that classic mom-and-pop shop feel that's getting harder to find these days. You can tell they focus on making quality products rather than trying to be a trendy chain. Next time I'll definitely make it there earlier before everything sells out. If a shop is running low by the afternoon, they're clearly doing something right. Hole In One Donut is a hidden gem, and I'd absolutely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. I'll definitely be back.

We had boba in mind, and Mochinut came up as the closest shop that could deliver in this regard. My rating factors in the location of the Mochinut here. While it is in the plaza on the westbound side of 56, this location lends itself to avoid the hecticness and heavy traffic that is found in the shops across the highway. Mochinut sits in a plaza is that is relatively tamer and calmer compared to the outlet area. I don't recall any tables and seating outside; if there was, it was maybe a bench or two. As you walk in, you will find a rather spacious interior with both table and lounge-like seating. There were two counter areas - one appeared to be non-operational that particular Saturday. The other (on the left as you walk in) seemed to be the main ordering counter with the displays of the mochi doughnuts. It was also interesting to see one staff manning the entire operation - not unusual for shops like this, but I can definitely see peak periods where more staffing would help. There were also two claw machines that pays out pretty cute stuffed animal prizes to include some Labubus (these machines accept both credit and cash - each game/turn costs $1). We ordered 2 boba-style drinks along with some mochi-style doughnuts. The food and beverages were a bit on the sweeter side, but it served its purpose. While not truly mochi cakes, the mochi-nuts (as the name suggests) were more on the doughy side - they were soft and offered a bit of the chewiness that mochi cakes deliver. Overall, not a bad place to just sit and enjoy for a bit. If you are in the area, whether shopping the outlets or any of the other nearby retailers, and need a quick fix of boba or something sweet, give Mochinut a try.

Although, it was far from me but I decided to have coffee from Urbangrid Nutrition. There is a parking lot near Urbangrid Nutrition which is a great plus and there are too many parking places. When I entered the coffee shop I was happy to see the beautiful ambiance of the coffee shop. It was minimal but beautiful coffee shop. After checking out the menu, I directly went to the cashier and asked about the specials they offer. After listening to the coffee specials as well as browsing through the menu, I decided to order Iced Matcha and toasted bagel w/ cream cheese. I took a seat and took beautiful pictures of the cafe. The service was good and soon I got my coffee which was Iced Matcha. It was literally my first time having iced matcha and I truly loved the coffee. The coffee was delicious and it was freshly roasted coffee. Soon, I got my bagel which was good with cream cheese spread. Coffee along with bagel was delicious and it made my perfect Saturday morning.

Crave worthy donuts…read more West Park Village had a food truck rally. Normally, I wouldn't brave the crowds to go to these things, but I scheduled to have a friend cut my kids hair that day and she lives in WPV, so I figured, why not. After the hair cut, I threw both kids in the stroller and her family and mine walked over to the rally. My three-year-old spotted the donuts and demanded them right away. (I always say that he may grow up to be spoiled and stupid, but at least he'll be kind, but I digress). We got in line to get some donuts. It was $6 for a dozen and since they had a minimum credit card charge of $5, we couldn't get a half dozen (which I think was $4), without paying an extra 25 cents. I'm glad they have that minimum in place, because you definitely want to go with at least a dozen. If I knew my husband would eat some I might have even gone with the 36 for $16, they're that good! Since they're made to order, they were warm and we got it with cinnamon sugar. These things are dangerous. I had mini donuts from another place recently and found them to be doughy. As another reviewer mentioned, these are melt in your mouth, not doughy at all. I haven't been eating sweets a lot recently, but somehow six of these disappeared. My son ate five (and he's a picky eater) and my husband ate one. My husband said they were really good, but I wouldn't let them have more. If you see this food truck, you definitely should get some. They're fantastic!

All of the staff members were very pleasant and helpful. I tried the hot hazelnut latte and it was okay. They have TONS of flavors to choose from and more than just coffee to order from. They also serve some hot food and bakery items. I did try the cinnamon roll but it honestly reminded me of a honey bun versus a traditional cinnamon roll. Clean restroom and well stocked but did not have a changing table. Overall a great vibe and would go back to try other coffee drinks.

The staff... both the guy with the tablet who took my order while I was in the drive-thru line-and the gal at the window-were so warm, friendly, chill and helpful. I'd go back just to bask in their positivity! But kindness isn't the only thing on the menu. There's coffee, tea, plant-based energy drinks, Italian sodas... and dozens (I think 75) of flavors you can add to them. In a fist visit, I usually start with chai tea latte... but today I asked for suggestions and ended up with a hot hibiscus tea with added pear flavoring. It was so floral and different! Hello new year! This knocked "the usual" on its head. I'm not sure that it will end up being my favorite offering here, but yeah... here's to shaking things up! I also tried the rainbow bagel-which was pretty and tasty. I liked the chew. Next time I'll try the strawberry cream cheese with it. There are filled croissants, too... but I forgot to ask about the flavors-and you can get mini donuts, too. White Duck was founded by a couple of Seattle transplants, who wanted to bring the "two windows in a shed" model of Pacific Northwest coffee shops to the Bay Area. And that's exactly what this is-a drive thru-no indoor seating-and I didn't see any outdoor tables, either. This is grab and go. But there's parking behind the building, if you want to sit and savor a bit. The shop is way up on North Dale Mabry-near Van Dyke-on the east side, right next to a Wendy's. It wasn't busy when I first got there but there at 8:30 on a Wednesday morning, but it soon picked up. I can see why... it's so convenient and the staff is so nice. They really stand out. I can't wait to stop in again and try more! I read on the website that the owners lost a child to cancer and part of the proceeds from each purchase goes to research. Well now I just have to try all those 75 flavors! See you soon, White Duck!
