The food was okay, and the environment was what you expect from McDonalds: bunch of teens and families just eating and minding their business. However, the service I received and HAVE been getting is absolutely terrible. The staff are either minors who hate their job and customers, or those who peaked in high school and hate customers. My buddy ordered an ice cream off the kiosk and wanted it delivered. This girl of ethnic race after a couple of minutes of ordering it, ran out and said "Ice cream?" We looked at her because we thought it was his, but weren't sure cause we ordered it for the table. She then was notified it was for a table, then shouted "Boy why they starring at me," then handed the ice cream to a lovely coworker who was very nice, then delivered it to us. After that little fiasco, a couple of more minutes went by, then her friends came in and sat in the table in front of us. The same lady then stopped working after yelling at her coworkers, and went to her friends. She was illustrating a poor work ethic and clearly painted the idea of immaturity of all McDonald's staff. The beautiful cherry on top, was when she sat the other table, then basically right in front of us, bad mouthed us. If I wanted this treatment, I would've repeated high school. Absolutely such a bad environment. Please work on staff hires. read more

We ordered for pickup and they told multiple drivers they couldn't make the order and that they needed to deny after already accepting it (when they were already there for pickup). It was delayed over an hour (not a high traffic time) and when we finally cancelled, they lied and told us they were no longer open. They are open 24/7. They are lazy and didn't want to work to make a simple order. Only gave 1 star because I can't give zero. read more

Let this be known, every day I walk into this establishment a customer is explaining how the customer service is less than cordial, altruistic and kind. Me and my wife love coming here however we have begun to realize that there is a consistent deliverance of disrespect, and subtle racism ( from the Spanish speaking employees). The use of profanity and racial slurs while children are eating is a common practice. We went for inhouse dinning. We ordered at 4:32 on Sunday afternoon. Nobody else in the restaurant. It took until 4:56pm to be completed and that was after complaining twice. Meanwhile there was a vagabond begging for money inside the restaurant and not one employee did anything about him. Then to add to this there was another outside asking the people going thru the drive thru for money. Keeps getting better. The one inside disappeared and came back with pizza only to sit inside the restaurant and continue to ask people for money. On top of all of this they forgot part of our order. it's amazing how many people work here and still manage to be incredibly slow. they look so busy but no one in the dining room is being served. and the drive through is always packed so i'm not sure what they're up to back there! self-serve machines are mostly broken, so you have to flag someone down in the kitchen to take your order. i waited 25 minutes! that's wild. food is average for a mcdonald's. read more

Stopped in for lunch and tried the new crispy chicken sandwich. Ordered two, one with pickles, one without. Not having tried these before we were expecting some sort of condiment, mayonnaise or something else to go along with it but they came bare. Chicken was definitely crispy and moist and quite tasty but really did cry out fir something a little more. Wouldn't necessarily order it again but if we did we'd ask for some Mayo to go with it. Ordered fries and these were served hot and crispy which is the only way to have them. And still the best place for a good deal on Cokes. Masks were worn by the staff and shields were on both the payment and pickup windows on the drive thru. read more

Welp! The high times didn't last but a mere few days. We were sorely disappointed that not only were the staff not as friendly during our last visit; our order was wrong and we were "forced" to hand our bags back over so they could check them and then finally give us the food that we paid for. Now we're pretty sure that we've been told that once food is handed to us, they cannot handle it again. Kind of like the back and forth of game of possibly germie tennis. But with food... It's the closest one around the corner from our house so the truth is, we won't stop patronizing. But JEEPERS! It bites when you have a great experience just to have a crummy one days later. I have eaten at many McDonald's and they all seem to be consistent with the way food is done. I enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches usually and use the app for some great deals. Only complaint is that they offer table service but most of the time you must go up and get your food from the counter instead of them bringing it to the table. read more

The workers here are rude. I was doing DoorDash last night and I saw my order I was supposed to pick up sitting on the counter at the drive thru window. Well, when I pulled up to the drive thru, nobody even came to the window for 7 minutes. Instead, they were making orders for cars behind me. When the girl finally opened the window, she didn't even say hello, didn't apologize for making me sit there for 7 minutes without coming over, and didn't even say, "Have a good night" or anything. I have to give it to McD's ever since they've renovated the place it looks great and the food actually trade better. The staff seem happier to serve you. I walked in yesterday for some drinks (too hot) and was surprised they had flower vases on each table. It was clean and no bums hanging out. I would leave zero stars if possible. This location is the worst I've ever been to. And as someone that has traveled this country coast to coast I've been to quite a few McDonald's. The employees here have major attitude problems, they screw up orders, half the time the food is cold, and if you use the drive through expect all of the above. When you complain to management nothing gets resolved. So do yourself a favor and go to Wendy's or burger king. But definitely do not go to McDonald's on west center St. in Manchester CT. This McDonald's is horrible, the hours of operation say they close the dining room at Midnight (12), last night my coworkers and I went to Center St McDonald's around 10:40 after our shift to find the door locked. Very Disappointed, there were still customers inside at the time who came to open the door but were yelled at not to. A location shouldn't close earlier than the posted hours nor should they tell a customer no when they try to open a door during operating hours. Another customer walked to the drive thru and asked why the doors were locked and employees replied 'We are closing early.' Very disappointed as we have had similar problems here in the past including employees turning the lights off around 11:30 so we are just sitting in pitch black darkness. We had to wait for a Quarter Pound Hamburger made without cheese. We waited less than 2 minutes and the adorable and sweet woman who brought it to our car greeted me with a big smile saying, "Is this your quarter pound hamb, baby? Now you enjoy it!" We got my son a 20 piece nuggets, he bit intobobe of them and there was a white sharp object inside of it. Ordered at the drive thru. When I got to the first window the cashier asked if I had the order with two sprites. I paid and received change back. I went on to the second window ,she hands me one sprite and then went on to hand me a coffee. When I expressed that wasn't ours she read off my entire order I agreed and then she said "oh they messed up with the double lanes, we are waiting on your food" she gave me the rest of my drinks and we waited in a parking spot. While waiting we threw out a small bag of garbage with my receipt. ( I didn't think I would need it) 10 min later another worker comes out with food and verified what was in the bag but again it wasn't our order. She proceeded to bring the food to another car that was two orders after mine. She then comes back out and asks what we ordered and ask for a receipt and says no one paid for my order. I explained that I did pay and even received change back but I had just thrown out the receipt. Another 10 min passes and I go inside and a different worker asked me about my meal. I told her what it was and expressed that I have been waiting a long time and as she was looking worker number 2 comes back to the front counter to say I hadn't paid for my meal. I told her I paid and received change back but I threw out the receipt. When I asked to speak to the cashier who I paid they just handed me my food. Which looks like it had been sitting on the side of the counter. She expressed again that no one paid for the meal as she exchanged the fries because I was shocked that it was just sitting there the whole time. So after waiting 20 min for two mcchickens, two sprites and a quarter pounder meal I was being accused of not paying multiple times. Out of all the Mcdonald's in the area, this one the ONLY one I would go too. During their remodeling I try others in the area and quit eating at Mcdonald's until this one reopen. Customer services as friendly, food was good. My daughter happy meal 4 piece chicken nugget, contain all item that include in a happy meal. Chicken nugget was warm and french fry cook to perfection. I had a quarter pounder with cheese and it was good. Do not expect a miracle in the food after all it is only Mcdonald's food. Isn't this location 24/7? Why is the "same machine that makes the ice cream" closed at 11? Why is it closed at all? Is this not opened 24/7? I visited this location Feb 26th at midnight. Corporate may want to check the lazy employees at this location. They definitely try their hardest to make it look closed. All the lights are off when I drove into the drive thru we double checked to see if this location was open all hours. As soon as I drove up to the window I noticed the shamrock shake was out and made a comment "oh look the shamrock sha-!" And the rude employee on the intercom quickly interrupts me "WESTOPMAKINGSHAKESAFTER11" before even greeting us. I asked her "what about mcflurries?" And she rudely says "Same machine." McDonalds is an affordable and cheap restaurant so i don't expect the best service, but what i experienced tonight was bad. So my bf and i were dining in and finished our food. it was around 10:55pm when we decided to get ice cream. We went up and asked if they make ice cream at this time and the man told us no. i've always been confused as to why a 24 hr restaurant stopped serving certain things at certain time. there were many times where it was late and they said they weren't serving ice cream, which is why we asked. So i decided to go through drive thru to try and order some ice cream. I pulled up and said "can i get a vanilla cone and an oreo mcflurry?" and the lady was like, "uhh...sure" and my bf and i looked at each other and were quaking! that guy lied to us then. so we pull up to pay and the guy angrily went up to the window and said he can't serve us ice cream because the machines turn off at 11pm. and i was like, "but when we asked you at around 10:55pm, you said no ice cream at that time either," so that made his statement false. Plus it was about 10:59pm when we ordered at the drive thru. i know this bc when he told us the machine turns off at 11, i looked at my phone and the clock just turned to 11pm. We nicely understood but were still confused so i texted a few friends who i know work at McDonalds and they said that the employee was lying. That the machine never turns off unless it's getting cleaned at 2am-3am when there are no customers. Plus if it's a 24 hr place, it should never turn off. Now i'm not mad about 50 cent ice cream, i'm upset with how the man lied to us. Is it really that difficult to put ice cream on a cone or to put ice cream in a cup and mix it with oreos?!? the employee was very passionate about not serving us ice cream. I work at restaurant and i've taken orders that are literally one minute before we close and we've already cleaned the grill because i'm doing my job and i like to satisfy the customers. this man (looks like he's at least 19) works here quite often and always looks like he's in a bad mood. i didn't want to argue with him because i was afraid he'd hurt me with his words. read more

FANTASTIC!! warm, cheesy, salty, fun McDonalds. Staff is always on point, and friendly. Personally i don't give a damn about friendly, but they are, and it doesn't hurt. They are the antithesis of the Burger King across the street which is an absolute abomination. Good Job, a perfect example of fast food employees that deserve a good wage. The only down side is that inside the restaurant, you will be bombarded with a series of repeating beeps, buzzes, and dings, that are so loud you will be holding your forehead. Would not recommend this location. Management was rude and very disorganized. Lady taking my order was chewing gum which was UN attractive and took the order from my child without asking me if it was okay. Then charged me for a medium drink for his happy meal thinking I wasn't going to check my receipt after. When I tried talking to the manager she rolled her eyes didn't even check what she owed me and just gave me .25 cents umm no she owed me more. The McDonalds was disgusting dirty, everything was out of stock. They had younger staff cleaning out the drink area who was swearing and complaining about working there and having to empty garbage's outside in front of my 7 year old. Not okay.
