Ambience: they have a spacious contemporary dining room and a separate bar section complete with TV screens all over the place. Food: we ordered: Calamari - the portion size was average, but the squid pieces were small in size. 4/5 Pastrami Reuben - this was a bit too salty and oily. 2/5 Dry Age Burger - this was really good. Stopped in for lunch and we're seated immediately. Combination of booths and tables for seating. Chairs are comfortable but they are low for a tall person (table comes about lower chest height). Server showed up quickly and took our drink orders. Menu is extensive and should provide plenty of options for everyone. There was a short wait till the soup came out. Nicely covered with melted cheese on top. The soup was good but didn't have the depth of beef flavor and spice texture that I was looking for. There plenty of onions, croutons, and cheese and overall it was okay. The burgers were well cooked and flavorful. They offered two sizes of their standard burgers, 5 or 8 ounces. The smaller size was just right for the person I was with. The cheese seemed to melt into the burger so it wasn't really visible. The hold em burger was large and had onion straws and three slices of very crispy bacon on top. There was a dollop of the bbq/house dressing and plenty of onions straws. The straws were nicely fried but not crispy by the time they reached the table but added a good dimension to the burger. It was good to leave the tomato and lettuce off as the height of the burger made it tough to bite into. The fries were disappointing. They had the right color for being fried and crispy but they were limp and soft. They are clearly are fresh cut from large potatoes but really need to be fried longer to get that crispy crunch you'd expect. Told the server that and was told to ask for the fries extra crispy. Overall not a bad first trip. We'll go back and try some other things on the menu and see what extra crispy fries are like. read more

Stopped by the Artisanal Burger Company last night after the movies and was immediately impressed with the appearance and the greeting we received. The ambiance was bright and lively (complete with a hearty crowd watching the England vs. France World Cup match), and our hostess was kind, welcoming, and sat us quickly with a smile. Our waitress was great. She noted to us that she was new and training, but you would have never known as she was extremely attentive, thorough, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Our food arrived quickly, and each meal was cooked exactly as ordered. We had two Return of the Mac burgers - which were thoroughly enjoyed, a French Onion Soup that was delicious, a French Dip that was tremendous, a wonderful Southwest Salad, and I had the Teriyaki Bowl that was also outstanding. The price for our dinner for 6 was more than reasonable, and we received a great deal of value for the cost. Our waitress was also extremely helpful in helping us bag up our leftovers as most of our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, having filled up on popcorn at the movies. :) In all, a great experience....Service, value, food all combined to provide a great end to our family night. After a less-than-ideal first visit in March, the GM (Jordan) reached out to make things right-- they absolutely did. I came back today with a friend, and the experience was a 10/10. The steak and cheese dip and the shrimp appetizers were delicious. For entrees, the Texas Hold 'Em burger with truffle fries was spot on, and my friend enjoyed her mac&cheese plate w/chicken. (LARGE portions btw) And the Sangria? Perfect! It had the right amount of everything Lastly, the cheesecake brûlée, that I took home, was also amazing! I came here without a reservation on a friday night with five other women and we were immediately seated at a booth, which was great. Everyone else got drinks and seemed very underwhelmed with them unfortunately. I got the smash burger with mushrooms and it satisfied my greasy bar food craving for sure! Came with some great sweet potato fries. I wouldn't say the burger was anything memorable, but it was a solid 3/5. Would I go back, out of my way, to eat there again? Nah. My family threw my surprise party here yesterday..10 years after the last one! This time I was totally shocked. It was supposed to be outside , but heat kept us inside. My girlfriend went here for drinks . She enjoyed the cocktails so I decided to visit and have cocktails and food. We sat in the bar area which was quite spacious our waitress was Mandy. Her service was excellent and she's an awesome mixologist. I notice that all the servers were friendly and cordial to one another. I ordered the grilled blackened chicken wrap but I excluded the bacon and had onions rings. Omg!! Their onions rings are the best I've ever had. They are huge and you get about 4 or 5 trust me that's enough. My girlfriend had the calamari with onion ring. There like a meal by themselves. The ambiance is warm and cozy. Its very spacious and they have outside seating as well along with many large screen televisions. I'm looking forward to returning to Artisanal Burger Company and try a burger as they look delicious. We've been going here for years, but lately it's gone downhill. Disappointment. The burgers are always overcooked. Anything that includes sauce ends up dryer than if it wasn't included at all (ex. my Nashville hot chicken sandwich was tough and only had the tiniest bit of spicy mayo). So in theory this place is great, and I feel like at one time it was. Just there a week ago and I have to admit that I felt ripped off. Sure the meat was of good quality, but tasted like the kitchen had run out of salt. Ambiance is casual American fare. There's indoor dining in the main restaurant, lounge dining with plenty of TVs for sports and outdoor patio dining during nice weather. The grass fed cheeseburger was cooked as ordered but lacked flavor. Seasoning would've been nice and made it more elevated. The coleslaw was dry but had good flavor; more dressing would've made it great. The French dipped grilled cheese has shaved steak and provolone cheese and it was served with delicious au jus French onion soup. The soup definitely made the dish delicious! It was served on sourdough bread so it held up well when dipped. Onion rings were huge, crispy and tasty. I'd get this dish again. Service was okay. The bartender was our server and she was responsible for the lounge and patio. If there were more servers I'm sure service would've better. Great place to hang out but food doesn't blow me away. I got the new return of the Mac burger and while the patty itself was good, the cheese on top reminded me of spray nacho cheese, and the fried Mac and cheese was very dry and tasted old. If I had posted a review after i went a few weeks ago, it likely would have been higher but my recent visit wasn't as good so I averaged it to 4. Staff is always friendly - last time I thought the fried food wasn't as good as previous visits, maybe they were busy and didn't want for the fryer to get hot enough. The 5 oz burger is one of the BEST in the area - better than Plan B or Max in my opinion. I've been here tons of times over the years and always have a solid experience. They have a fully stocked bar w TVs for all the games. They have plenty of seating for large parties. They have patio seating for nice days. Every burger / sandwich I've ever had here has been great! They always have a nice rotating draft list of local beers. Decent bourbon / whiskey selection. Nothing too unique but nice variety for a burger joint. The pretzel is HUGE. Cooked perfectly. We also had sliders to start and they were good too. My pastrami Reuben was full of flavor as well. Service is always great here. Our waitress helped by making recommendations and let me try a couple beers before making a decision. Pricing is fair but food is always consistent. My burger did have a dry aged flavor, but I wasn't a huge fan of the way they shape their patties- they're definitely formed in a patty press so they feel a little dense. They were well cooked and juicy though. Mine was also pretty light on the toppings. Few years gone by, reviews are mixed still. Give them another try because I have yet to learn my lesson. Get a mushroom swiss burger, upgrade to truffle fries, get a grilled cheese hot dog because it sounds good, and a blackened fish taco because why not. We also got a french onion soup, because beef stock with onions with a healthy glob of cheese on top sounded good. The french onion soup had a good flavor to it. not so much onion, more of just beef stock. the cheese on top was pretty good as well. The rest kind of fell flat. The hot dog was a good quality hot dog, I appreciate the quality and that they split and grilled the hot dog to get that caramelization on the inside of the hot dog. but the bun was way too big, so you would get more bread than hot dog. Wouldn't call it a grilled cheese dog but more a cheese dog, but clever naming makes for better sales I guess. The blackened fish taco smelled heavily of fish. it was nowhere near fresh so we immediately sent that back. The hamburger had no flavor other than ground beef. there was no seasoning, the swiss and the mushrooms were on the burger but provided no flavor. Every bite on the pallet was a little resistance from the bun, then just straight up hamburger meat. The truffle fries were cooked well, but had no truffle flavor. just parmesan cheese and that was it. Not bad, but not great either. After all this time, I still find this location lacking. The saddest part is that they do try. They grill their buns, they use a good quality bun, they do a proper sear of the burger, the toppings are in a decent ratio vs the rest of the burger. But then they make these fundamental mistakes like not seasoning their burger that just makes the entire dish one note and disappointing. I've also had a properly seasoned burger from them before years ago, and when they execute it's a very solid burger. In a couple more years if they are still around I may forget that I'm not a fan of this place and try again. It's still way too spotty to recommend though read more

Most of The burger descriptions sound yummy but I should have known better since there was aioli (mayo) listed on a lot of them. I ate one and it was a great onion ring but that price was questionable. Our server asked if we were finished, Yes. And since half of our food remained on the plate, Asked if we wanted it boxed to go, No. Then asked if we enjoyed our food. Haha. "The Nachos were good" was all i said. My fiancé enjoyed the dry aged burger and said it was rich with the Guinness butter. I thought the French dip grilled cheese was really unique, and it tasted great. If I had one critique, I just wasn't a big fan of the Caesar salad dressing - they probably use anchovies in it like most places and to both of us it was just a little too heavy on that flavor. I was not expecting this place to be good as it was. Wondered in with a burger loving group expecting there would be limited items for me to eat. I mostly eat vegetarian and I will eat seafood. There were many options from salads, grilled cheese, mac & cheese, falafel burger, and even gluten-free options are available. It was great to learn that everything is made in-house and using local ingredients. For the table, we ordered the Fried Dill Pickle Chips and our burgers were Spicy Burger (a daily special) with French Fries, Chorizo Burger with Onion Rings, and Salmon Burger with Jalapeño Watermelon. Everything was so delicious and full of flavor. The jalapeños watermelon is a must try--watermelon in jalapeño juice and coated with Cajun seasoning. So good! And if you thought the burgers were the main event, make sure to save room for dessert. Their crazy shakes are a must. We got the Mississippi Mudslide & Salted Caramel Cinnamon Delight. Been to the ABC a few times now, and had some good experiences, but today, boy was that some of the worst service I've ever seen. For starters, I've never in my 8 years of working food service seen a host just point at tables like "yeah you can go there." What happened to walking to the table? Making the guest feel welcome? This was also after waiting at the host stand for 5 min with no one there. We sit down and wait 10 ish minutes before anyone comes over and when our server, Hannah, finally comes over, she barely greets us in the most rude tone and asked us for our drinks. We ordered our drinks (which were still good) and the Mac and cheese bites, but she was walking away as I was ordering the app which felt incredibly rude. Our drinks took 10 min to come out, which not the worst, I understand the bar is busy sometimes, and the app came out after. And tasted great I may add. Hannah came over right when the app came out, but we were not ready to order mains yet. About 15 min later we ordered our mains and my fiancé ordered another drink. We then did not hear or even see her for the next 20 min. She came out and in a dis genuine tone said "sorry your drink will be right out" which as a fellow server, I know that means she completely forgot about us. She then came back 30 sec later with the drink. The manager brought over another drink for me that I had ordered and another server brought our food. She checked in on us before we had even taken a bite, and didn't check back in until we were basically ready for the check to leave. I do not normally write reviews, but with my own personal experience working in establishments that are significantly faster paced, the service here was pathetic and as much as I hate doing it, her tip showed it. I don't think this is necessarily a full reflection of the restaurant itself, but I do want people to know what they may be getting into when coming here. Serving upscale burgers is a challenge, given the limitless possibilities of toppings, breads, etc. Cooking every burger to the requested temperature is a challenge which, in my experience, not even the best burger joints do flawlessly. The burgers I have had at ABC have been good enough to draw me back several times, and this time, a special on the menu caught my eye: a blackened salmon sandwich. I love fish, and while my prior experience has convinced me salmon and sandwiches just don't mix. This one was excellent! I was impressed that the waitress asked me what temperature I wanted the salmon cooked to -- I realized I have never been asked that when ordering a salmon sandwich. I am not certain I can recall all of the ingredients, so I won't spoil the secret, but the experience will certainly bring me back more frequently. Despite my burger being mediocre, I'll still give this place 4 stars and even come back. I got the local burger. It was a sad smash style (fast food type) patty. Between the words "artisanal" and "local" I was not expecting this. Also, the large beautiful bun, fresh lettuce and tomatoes were set up for a tavern style patty, and just dwarfed the patty. My wife got a few tacos. She loved the shrimp. The fish was mediocre. My daughter got the hot dog off the kids menu with a side of brussel sprouts. Both were fantastic, though the brussel sprouts did come cooked in bacon if that's an issue for you it's not mentioned on the menu. I got a side of Caesar salad and it was also great. Despite the shortcomings, I think parts of this menu are fantastic and I could order a 5 star meal here. The staff was also friendly and quick, so I'll probably stop by again sometime. read more

For my drink, I'm having a Blueberry Smash Mocktail made with blueberry syrup, Lyres Sugar Cane n/a Spirit, lemon juice, simple syrup, mint and soda water. For my soup, I'm having the Creamy Tomato Bisque made with housemade bisque, croutons and basil. It's small, but well garnished and tasty. Next up, I'm having the House Salad and with baby field greens, grape tomato, cucumber, radish and sherry vinaigrette dressing. This is big and tastes great! For my entree, I'm having the Felafel Veggie Burger made with lemon tahini sauce, lettuce, tomato, red onion, naan flat breadsand a side of coke slaw.
