I used to come here three or four times a week for breakfast. We stopped in today ordered the pancakes with eggs and sausage. Drove 10min home didn't get my butter or syrup and they put my sausage under the eggs so we couldn't see it. When we went back the manager said there was nothing he could do because they weren't serving breakfast anymore. Skip this McDonald's on your travels and go to the one in Hillsville. read more

Placed a mobile order they online app, pulled up to the ordering speaker. Told the lady I had a mobile order but I thought it was the wrong location the worker said sorry and offered no help. Called the manager and she acted like it was no issue that the worker didn't even ask for a mobile code. These apps are confusing. read more

Terrible service. Why offer table service through the app if you don't train the employees to actually deliver it?? Ordered (through the app), waited and waited, and waited, kept checking the app while my husband kept an eye on the status board. Finally, the app showed my order complete, but no food ever arrived. Waded through the Sea of people to get to the counter and found my bag of food sitting in the pickup area, no cups with it, of course. When I asked how long it had been sitting there, I was assured it had just been placed there since the fries, nuggets, and burger were cold, kind of doubt that. No apology, no thank you. read more

I'm not really a fan of McDonald's in general but my little sister really wanted some so we stopped here. The wait was a bit long as there was a slow moving line, not entirely shocking for a McDonald's. We ordered a McDouble, McChicken, fries, and a McFlurry. Honestly the burgers and fries were hot and my order was correct. If McDonald's food is hot then it's decent fast food. The service was friendly enough. If you want fast food or a quick pit stop look all around for the buses! -Busloads of groups stop here and make long waits for food, seating , and restrooms. The buses don't park next to the building -they park on a hill drive way near by. Our advice is go to another nearby restaurant if there are busses. ! Just picked up a quick bite for the family. Got the food home and my son finds a surprise in his fries. This is very disgusting. The bad thing about this is, the restaurant was just rebuilt and is brand new, but unfortunately it appears they're not concerned about cleaning or being sanitary. Food: Worse than a typical McDonald's. Fries were under-cooked and soggy. Service: Poor. I tried to order a hot mocha. The cashier gave me a weird look, and I repeated myself. She said "OK, a mocha frappe." I said "No, just a mocha. Hot, please." Another weird look. "A latte?" I said "No, it's right there" and pointed to the menu behind her. She said "Where are you looking, now? I don't think we have it." I said, "Nevermind" and ordered a cappuccino instead. Also, shortly after I ordered, I heard one of the cooks in the back yelled to a coworker "I'M GONNA PUNCH YOU IN THE MOUTH!" Price: Typical. Sadly, I would not go there again, if it was free. Atmosphere: Bathroom stall was pretty gross, very poorly kept. Otherwise, a typical McDonalds. I cannot recommend this at all. This is a very small McDonald's. They did have updated tile floors and a good color scheme going on. When I walked in there was a couple waiting for theor order. It took two minutes before a cashier came to wait on me. They were not busy at the time. I would have complained to myself but she immediately apologized for the wait and then apologized after my order. Very nice. The drink station was well stocked with condiments, lids, straws, etc. Our fries were fresh so no complaints there. All in all there is room for improvement and you have to be patient but I think they are trying so good for them. read more

I've gone here maybe 20 times over the past 5 years and my order is correct MAYBE 10% of the time.

Friendly staff...I got fries, and my husband got a burger, he dropped the whole thing one the floorboard of our car..it was kinda dirty, so he tossed it...went to buy another one, and just mentioned..he's trying it again, and told them what happened, they replaced it with no charge even though it was no fault of theirs. went by here at 10:15 and nobody answered the drive thru. had over 10 people lined up and they didn't take their orders either. waited 20 minutes and then had to drive around to the window and got told to go back around and go through the drive thru again just to get my order taken. by the time i got to the window for them to take my money it was over 35 minutes of waiting. luckily they made all of my food fresh. there was only 3 people working and the manager there doesn't know how to run a shift with one person doing drive thru and front orders on her own. the wait time is ridiculous and you have to wait FOREVER to just get your order taken. read more

this is the most awfulest mcdonald's i've ever went to. Took over 30 minutes to get our food an in addition 10 minutes to get our fries. NOT TO MENTION my chicken wrap and my fries tasted horrible. This is the worst McDonalds ever. The staff with long hair did not have nets on. Some staff members dido not change gloves between working the register me taking money and then made sandwiches with those same gloves. Fries were stale and tastes s though they were sitting for a while. They forgot the Bbq sauce for my husbands nuggets. The only positive is the sweet tea. read more

We are from out of state and stopped at this McDonalds as we passed through Max Meadows. Our order was simple, no modifications, our order was for three people. The kid taking our order mumbled and was difficult to understand. We had to restate parts of our order several times, and again at the window when we paid. When we finally got our food, my caramel frappe was half full with a sad dollop of whipped cream, not even filling the cup to the rim. My husband had ordered a double and received a cold, single burger. We didn't receive any straws for our drinks, and we didn't receive our large fry. We didn't have time to stop and go into McDonalds and discuss the issues do to our tight timeline. However, I did go to the McDonalds website and submitted a comment to the manager of this McDonalds. read more

I am not one to write reviews, and certainly not one to write reviews of fast food places, but this McDonald's is well above and beyond the standard McDonald's. Stopped there at the beginning of a long road trip and the two ladies at the drive thru (one was just back after a long time off) could not have been friendlier. Great way to start the day, and the food was as good as you get at a McDonald's. I hope these folks are recognized somehow (and I wish I'd gotten their names). Great job! read more
